Despite his military bearing, Colter wears a button down shirt and navy sports coat. On his wrist is a digital watch. It reads 7:40 a.m.
He swallows. A strange, creeping panic.
He has no idea where he is.

It is very possible that Jake might have blamed being passed up for a role due to Leo, who as much as i LOVE his work (even when he's a bit miscast--he's still a commanding leading actor and has great range), probably could be bitchy and two-faced with his comments toward VIPs like Scorsese (who I bet Jake would KILL to work with--who wouldn't?)

We snuck into the Weinstein Oscars party by entering through the service entrance and hiding in the bathroom. It ended with us eavesdropping on Harvey — who introduced his kids with "these are my fucking children" — and getting banned.

Quentin Tarantino seemed to be honoree of the night as everyone wanted a piece of the director, but the partier who most caught our eye was Awful Truth fave Jake Gyllenhaal…who was seen chatting up another quasi-famous face for part of the night…

Super Bowl - Shutter Island, Alice in Wonderland and PoP trailers were shown. SI became a B.O. hit, Alice is a B.O. hit. Now lets hope PoP will deliver too.
SI had mixed reviews, AIWL is even rotten. Both are still box office hits. There you see that reviews aren't THAT important.
So Alice isn't any good? I think it's a case of everyone having such high expectations going into it... I'll probably wait for the DVD since I rarely see movies in the theaters anyway.
Shutter Island has Scorsese and DiCprio, Alice in Wonderland has Burton and Depp, all BO draws. There was also big anticipation for both movies. I don't see that with PoP.
PoP will success in BO simply because is Disney's product, it has a big promotion and lots of publicity to back it up. What it will mean for Jake's carrer in the future is the real mistery of all this.

It's 53% on rotten tomatoes. A rotten rating. On imdb it's a 7.3. It seems audiences liked it a bit better. I'll watch it some time next week. I liked most of the Burton/Depp collaborations.

Jake stopped by and chatted with Seacrest, who asked about last night's party and who he hung out with. Jamie Foxx was Jake's answer. Ryan did asked him about giving his sister a message, and Jake told her how proud he was of her. It was really sweet.
Seacrest did ask him about PoP and the sandals thing, and what parties he was going to. Jake scooted around that one by saying he has to get back to Canada for work. Also they had a moment about their respective pocket squares.
Jake looked great, everything looked good the hair, the tux, and yes that gold ring that seems to be staying.
