When Routh made Superman he was single. But shortly thereafter he produced a 'long-term' girlfriend who he'd made a small film with. She's an actress. And she pretty much popped up out of the blue. He subsequently married her.
Johnston still works online, and there were no repercussions for his having outed Routh. It was all forgotten after the film 'bombed' anyway. ( I say 'bombed'...you know what I mean).
Something similar happened to John Wesley Shipp when he was making The Flash TV series. A comic book magazine called Amazing Heroes outed him as being 'married' to a wealthy male heir...I've forgotten who it was. Again, no repercussions.

Looking at his IMDb page it's pretty clear something's been up for awhile. Once End of Watch comes out - directed by Training Day's David Ayer, Jake shaved his head for his role in the supposedly gritty LA cop drama - he has absolutely zero projects lined up. Oh sure there's David O. Russell's Nailed off in limbo-land but I imagine we'd have to shoot somebody in the head with a nail to get a look at that (we're willing!). He's been rumored for many a project - a Jake Namath bio-pic, a Damn Yankees musical - but they've come and gone and all we've gotten instead is the Prince of Persia.

He has always tried to work with interesting directors - even Persia was helmed by Mike Newell. And Duncan Jones' Source Code was a bit of a disappointment, but I think it's also undervalued at this point.

When the eyewitness from NY sent that missive to Ted he failed to mention that which i thought was odd at the time since that would have stood out like a sore thumb. That is the wek Jake was in NY to promote Rendition and he taped Letterman I think on 10/17, you can check OMG and SK's post and her mention of the length of his pants, 2 days later Ted posted his "eyewitness" account of hey they follwed Jake from the Ed Sullivan theater with Austin Nichols or his doplangger doing a digitty dance walking down the street.
No mention of Austins hair which is odd nor no mentio of a hat to cover it up but they did mention jeans, you would think that they would have said that Austins hair was bleached blonde.

The loons can say that Austin was in NY on Monday and then flew to L.A. but why would he do that whilst filming a movie? And why no mention of his hair from theis so-called eyewitness??
