And by "it" I mean sipping on Smart Water and staring at full bottles of delicious Moet (Why wasn't anybody guzzling those bottles of sweet nectar like the new prohibition is right around the corner?!) together at the Golden Globes last night. Since Jake Gyllenhaal has broken his promise pinky swear with Taylor Swift, he brought his ex-girlfriend/friend Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley as his plus one to the GGs.
Of course, some people are saying that Jenny Lewis has rolled herself in beard hair and is curling up around Jake's face. Now, I haven't read the newest edition of UsWeekly: Indie Hipster Edition, but I'm pretty sure Jenny Lewis has been with the same dude for centuries. So she's probably just there for the free Smart Water and to inhale the candy clouds of sweetness wafting off of Jake's face merkin. I bet it smells like strawberry-flavored goat milk ice cream.
And Jenny Lewis' appearance at the Golden Globes was a long time coming. The real truth is that she should've been there 20 years ago to receive her award for Best Cookie Time Moves in Troop Beverly Hills.

His date for the fete (in which he was nominated for his performance in Love and Other Drugs): ex-girlfriend Lewis, 35. She quietly trailed Gyllenhaal as he gave interviews on the red carpet, and sat with him during the ceremony.
Like Swift, Lewis is an acclaimed musician; she fronts the band Rilo Kiley and has released two solo albums as well.
The cute redhead is also a Hollywood veteran: As a child actress, she made countless TV appearances on The Golden Girls, Growing Pains, Roseanne, Mr. Belvedere and other shows; she also starred in big-screen hits like Troop Beverly Hills and Pleasantville (with Gyllenhaal's ex Reese Witherspoon!).

The dress is designed by Rodarte. the 2 designers are close friends of Kirsten. They are often photographed with her and she often wears that label. Kirsten is dating the guy from Jenny's band. I can't find the Reese connection but probably she wore it at the time because it's ultra short and to appear hip *huge fail*
Rodarte is the new in designers now so it's not surprising that Reese, Drunkst and Jenny are wearing their dresses but what is weird is that it's this particular dress, and to me the most unflattering style IMO. I've seen their line and some of it is quite nice, when Reese wore their blue and black gown at the Academy awards in '09 it got a thumbs down but Natlie wore a gown by them at the same awards and most loved it because it looked more "traditional"

Mark Silverstein is one of the writers/producers of Valentines day. I'm not sure if he is involved in the sequel NYE, but they have been trying to get a few orginal actors back, they already have Biel and Kushton. Taylor Swift was in the orginal and I bet that's how the whole Taylor/Jake thing started: Silverstein trying to get her back, Jake and his people hearing about it via Mark, that's why their names were attached to it. Now that they are over, their names are romeved from NYE. It coulsd also be that filming was pushed to Feb. and she would be touring but it's no coincidence that Jake has been seen hanging with Busy and family all of a sudden and it's not just because Jake and Busy are Matilda's godparents.
Silverstein may have other projects and Jake's name attached may help him along, as long as its not NYE.
I also think that Busy and Co are the West coast version of Maggie, Peter and Ramona, he likes the family unit thing now at the ole age of 30 and likes hanging around that type of environment.

Jake, 30, was spotted hanging out with Camilla, 24, at the Art of Elysium "Heaven" Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening. While the meet-up may have raised eyebrows amongst some Taylor fans, Jake's rep exclusively tells Celebuzz that the pair are "not dating."
RadarOnline previously reported that the pair "hung out together the entire night" and were spotted "talking intimately."
"Jake and Camilla were flirting all night," a source told RadarOnline. "And before he left, I saw him very affectionately touching her arm."
Taylor fans wereshocked to hear that Jake was reportedly getting cozy with Camilla since the 21-year-old singer has been feuding with the Disney singer for years.
Camilla began dating Joe Jonas in 2008 shortly after the Jonas Brothers frontman dumped Taylor over the phone. Taylor allegedly wrote "Better Than Revenge" about Camilla, which includes lyrics like "She's an actress/Better known for the thing that she does on the mattress." Yikes!

Nothing wrong, weird or anything like that - godparents are friends of the family and there is nothing wrong or weird about falling in love with your friends.

Bomer had a very short but funny interview on Ellen today. Even though he was on not that long ago, I guess he did a short one today as part of the pr blitz for WC starting up tonight. I'm impressed all over again with the US Network's ability to get the show and Bomer out there--interviews in 2 of the 3 NYC papers today, and countless other interviews, many with his co-star. Pretty good for a show that is starting the second half of its second season--although it probably helps that it is mid-January so not a lot of "new" stuff out there.
Bomer is lucky that he is now benefitting from people who seem to really know how to sell him and the show.
Oh, and when I went to the Bomer fansite, 63 people were online!
I keep hoping things will change with Jake, but instead we get more of the same--multiple stories of who he is/is not dating.

I think that both camps decided to cut their losses when they saw all the negativity directed towards the couple. But we know that Jake bearded with someone who acts like they are 16 years old, but if his PR had him make a move like that, it makes Jake look like a 16 year old girl. Wow--another BBM star in a seminal "Batman" role. I doubt Anne will be as good as Michelle was in '92 film (she was AWESOME) but I'm sure she'll be watchable and will create sparks with Bale, who needs a love interest in the upcoming film. I doubt though that she and Hardy will surpass Heath but I think they'll both be great to watch.
