I don't post tweets since there seems to be others that do it, i guess they had other things to do that day just like they "missed" the private party in Brooklyn tweets.
I was going to post the tweet of Reese in E. NY/Bowery yesterday even though Jake wasn't spotted but Jake has family there and friends, and has been spotted there before, plus that party he was at on Saturday was near where she was tweeted, that hotel.
But I didn't boher becasue it was just her but I thought that if she was in NY for business, that seemed to be an "off" place to be. Plus he is supposed to be in L.A. now and if there are no more pics of her in NY we can assume she is back in L.A. or "out west" skiing with her friends and kids as per E!, LOL I thought she was spending it at home with family, i guess she can go skiitng after Christmas!

The studios are now putting together deals to make movies for $100,000 because of the new technology. In that case, of course, it would be union busting. The only directors etc would be rich kids (who else can afford to live completely for free?) But none-the-less you’ve got to throw that into the equation of 2009. How many movies would that have been?

There are many reasons that Daniel Day-Lewis is considered one of the finest actors currently working in the movie business, with one of the most important ones being his highly selective process in choosing film roles.
Sure, it would be awesome to see Day-Lewis take on an iconic role in a Hollywood tentpole picture. How much fun would it be to see him in one of Christopher Nolan's "Batman" movies, for example? But don't hold your breath, as the "Nine" star recently told MTV's Josh Horowitz that the chances of him signing on for a blockbuster are highly unlikely.
"[This is] not meant to belittle those films or the people [who work on them], because there are people that need to do those films and love to do those films — they can be fantastically entertaining for the people who love to see them — but it's not for me," Day-Lewis said about the prospects of starring in a franchise film.
That's not to say that the actor hasn't been approached for these types of roles, as Day-Lewis famously turned down the opportunity to star in the "Lord of the Rings" movies as Aragorn, a role that ultimately went to Viggo Mortensen. In the end, however, Day-Lewis is very cautious about accepting these types of roles for a very simple reason: he's afraid of getting bored.
"When I'm working on something, if I'm intrigued by it, I'm never bored," he explained. "I'm incapable of being bored. That's what they do. They give out as much as they dare but they make it so YOU have to do the thinking rather than they, so they avoid getting into legal trouble.
Back to Reese and Jake: here's what I THINK has gone down.
These two haven't 'broken up', because err, well, there's nothing TO break up, technically.
I just think it gives Jake that extra bit of dimension/freedom/interest for his films, and his 'single' status makes him more popular and someone knows it.
His reps will be well aware the majority of the internet cannot stand them as a couple and half again don't even buy it. Even the fantog sites like asskissing JJ are filled with 'beard' and 'Reese is fugly' comments (and not put there by me, I might add).
So, what better way to have the predictable duo split for his films, which will help resurge his career slightly as he heads towards promo, getting the 'Jake is gay' brigade all fired up again in the hope he'll actually make a difference this year and waltz Austin down the red carpet.
Inbetween, cue some flimsy stories about Anne Hathaway and/or unnamed/sourced starlets to appease the fangirls whilst appeasing the Toothyites and skeptics. That's all bases covered then. Afterwards, fix Jake up with a new beard or keep him reliably single for best part of 6-9 months but cast the shadow of Reese (ala post-breakup Dunst) and plant sightings in US Weekly/Star about clandestine 'meetings' and 'dinners' or chance occurances.
Someone somewhere knew that people were seeing through this showmance and to stop it running too predictably down the path of skeptics they've had them split before the films start. They will either 'get back togther' or a new beard will be found.

It looks like that Superica tweet/sighting is from Santa Barbara, Jake was spotted at that yoga class on Tuesday, this is more evidence that he is back in L.A. The tweet/sighting is from either Monday or Tuesday.
There are multiple sources that Jake was at that party on Saturday nd sighting of him in NY on Friday. And even if it is false, why would his rep deny it four days later, was she in a coma?
IMO Jake was in NY for his birthday and went back to L.A. earlier this week.

I am starting to think this is all about reese. I wonder if Jake has given his PR people permission to do anything to protect her image. It does make her look pretty bad when he is out having a good time when he is supposed to be so heartbroken. He may just be so happy the fauxmance is over he doesnt care what he has to do.
First we have "split story" just days before Brothers premiere.JAKE'S PR denies it.
Then,the bland remark of Jake calling Reese his "gf" when we learn short later they were,in fact,kaput. Ok, then US W. confirms their separation and tell us that it was Reese's choise to end things and Jake is heartbroken (whatev).
Shortly after, a couple of odd stories of Jake are printed and then we have Chin's trip to NY when at the same time there is a story about Jake attending a party in the same city. The party story says almost nothing,really i don't see the benefit or the harm for Jake's image if that story is true or false, yet, his publicist takes the time to state that is a fake story. For what,i wonder?
Is it suspicious that there is a supposedely false story about Jake being in a city that Reese is visiting? Is Reese harrasing Jake through magazines as the same way she did with Ryan?Is there any conspiracy here or is it just my imagination and this Toothy nonsense finally drove me crazy? ;D
There is no harrassing stories. Jake was at that party, too many sources said that he was thwere. Why his brain-damaged rep denied is a mystery.
It may have been just a coincidence that Reese was in Ny, she does have a production Co., maybe it had something to do with that.
It's one thing to be caught off guard at the initial leak, but why did Jake talk about his GF and her kids days later when he didn't have to? I read the interview posted and he didn't have to mention her at all when answering the question, he could have just mentioned Maggie and his neice, but he added her. Did he and his rep thought everything was status quo and had no idea that Us weekly was working on the break-up story?
Ryan is his own worse enemy when it comes to drinking and stumbling out of clubs. We are still seeing and hearing the same stories and Reese sure the hell ain't planting them and taking pics and posting them on X17.

I believe Reeke were finished weeks before Thanksgiving, probably after Reese's last LAOD visit and her Twitter bitchface photo at the airport, and Jake was the one who wanted out.

Oh please, everyone knows who he was talking about. When Ryan spoke briefly about his girlfriend during promo for Stop Loss, we all knew who he was talking about.
You can't determine the timeline based on a twicpic photo, she always looks like that.
Jake didn't want out, again explain the need to bring up GF, he could have simply sold the straight image by saying that I would love to have kids some day, true gay men can have kids, but there was NO need to bring up Reese and her kids. Look at his Kimmel interview, no mention of Reese but he pushed the straight image IMO.
Jake and his rep were thrown for a loop and have been scrambling ever since.

Given the 1-2 day flight delay from the big snowstorm, was the Chin supposed to be in NY on Saturday or Sunday? She didn't look too happy when she landed. Wonder when/where she'll go to next. And if there will be pics...I doubt it.
