We seriously didn't think Jake Gyllenhaal's campy costume for the upcoming Disney flick Prince of Persia: The Story of Jake's Pecs could get more guffaw-worthy (despite the pretty damn doable bod itself, minus overdone Fabio trappings), but then we saw J.G.'s Lego action figure. Sorry, folks, we don't even get a pint-size superhero-esque action figure of chiseled Gyllen-hon to play with, but this supercute and totally harmless plastic children's toy instead? And it pretty much captures the doability—or lack thereof—of present-day Jakey perfectly.

Try as we might, we just can't drool over a guy who's become as vanilla as the soy latte we always catch him sipping alongside Reese. One Life To Live could use a ratings boost! Kyle and Fish are definitely worth watching. Fish is played by out actor Scott Evans (brother of Chris) and the pairing has a lot of chemistry. Right now Kyle is with another guy Nick (also played by an out actor) but Kyle/Fish is the endgame. Plus OLTL actually lets their gays kiss more than once a year, unlike As The World Turns' BORING Luke and Noah. A lot of conservatives are blaming the ratings decline on the focus on gay storylines (there's another one starting up now that involves gay marriage) so it would be nice to prove them wrong and get more viewers.

Ally from IHJ has long left the Jake fandom after babygate, she was there. She turned the site over to stephanie. Ally is still named on the site as the owner, owner in name only. She posted a few times since and one of the post was that she thought that Jake and Resse are a cute couple, so her leaving the fandom had nothing to do with them but Jake's tacky parents.

That site made fun of fans obsession with actors and paps following around actors buying coffee , etc. Jake at the time was a prime target, Gilded Moose used have captions under Jake pics like: breaking news: Jake walks across the street drinking coffee and talking on his cell phone! She decided to focus just on Jake for and JW was born. She always stated that she wasn't a Jake fangirl, but that he was a muse that she was using because she was interested in writing, she had another blog also. She never intended the blog to go beyond a year, JW and WFT had each others links on their blogs, everything in Jakeland was fine until Cunty discovered JW in May of 2006 because JW did a post on Stephen because he was writing poetry.
IMO Cunty took advantage of them because she knew that they had a interest in writing and she was a literary agent. She even got them to start a fan blog for papa until babygate, then they deleted the blog.
Cunty used them and IHJ to sell papa'a shitty poetry and then he turns around and treets them like shit at his poetry reading, a reading that Cunty urged them to attend. All because she blurted out the name of Maggie's baby to them and they posted it.

To clarify about the ISP addresses. I wrote that I changed mine several times a day. Not to "fool" sites but because I'm on a dynamic ISP cycle i.e. the number changes every time I log off or get logged off (disconnected) from my ISP. Since I'm in a sensitive area I get disconnected more than I like (grrrr). Also, another thing is some people use proxies so going by ISP numbers isn't reliable. Also I have at least 3 firewalls and have completely blocked Sitemeter and Google Analytics and all trackers.. If someone thinks they know me, well they got someone else. LOL. It kills me though that now that Fish is finally out, Kyle has decided there is no chance for them to be together! I was just watching the kiss clip which wasn't that long ago and he was definitely still into Fish. But that's a soap for you. I heard JW closed because they thought they'd get a chance to interview Jake, and then when it didn't happen during Zodiac promotion, they didn't want to wait around a couple of years until his next film, and didn't think there would be much to write about him. I'm sure all the stuff with Cantera and his parents didn't help either, plus they pissed off some posters by first ignoring Austin, then writing a couple of nasty posts about him. Even back then you could see the JIS crew trying to keep JW in line.
I think PR thought they would create a new "mature" Jake, one who still continued to be interested in family--but then they ditched his family, and only Reese's mattered. Plus I think they thought making Jake an "every guy" suburban step-dad would appeal to women. Boy were they wrong!
In other words, they thought they would bring in the older, less fickle fans and lose the flighty fangirls.
