One Sad Blind Vice

December 19, 2008

One Gag Me With Cocaine Blind Vice

Toothy Tile, we hardly knew ya. Last week it was signed confidentiality agreements with your male paramours (other than your main man); this week it's far, far, far worse: pretend, horrible sex with a member of the opposite sex, in hopes that your studly reputation will somehow be fixed. Ain't gonnna work — here's why:

Repeat Blind Vice offender Toothy has a former fling running her (yes, her) mouth around town about a drug-infested hookup with Mr. Tile. Do tell, babes! Apparently, T.T. banged said blabber to try to prove to himself — or more importantly, the powers that be (managers, publicists, the public) that he isn't gay. See, the more chicks he hooks, the farther back in the closet he goes; just how his handlers want it.

Eh, not really the best plan, as Tooth's last female "lover," if you could call her that, has been yapping away about her evening with the now A-list famous type. But it wasn't exactly candles and cuddles like you'd think.

Try tons of coke. Toothy would make this lady blow lines all over his tight bod until he was “numb,” bitched the gal who did the blowing. [First version: Toothy would make this lady blow lines off his, umm, little Toothy Tile, until he was "numb," bitched the gal who did the blowing.] Then they could get down to business in what we're told were very "interesting" positions, i.e., painfully unnatural and not exactly enjoyable.

As disturbing as this news is, we must say we feel a bit sorry for our beloved Tooth (not to mention the used honey). This all took place, we're told, before Tile hooked up with his current beard, right when he was adamantly told not to come out, so it's no wonder he turned to drugs.

What's next? Meth with Morgan Mayhem? Pray not.

And It Ain't: All 3 Jonas Bros.

I worked here for about a week in December. An incredible restaurant, with incredibly talented chefs. Here are some pictures of the prep for a pig feast, ox hearts, sea bass and the chefs at work.

I've got a new theory. Jake needs to be center of attraction so maybe when he has to be "supportive" of his contract-mate he goes all grungy in spite of himself because it's so depressing.

Hm... In some cases that theory doesn't make sense. For example, that London business dinner when he looked depressed, homeless and drunk.

Other PR firms, analyzing what went wrong with the Reeke PR campaign are going to come to the conclusion that they moved too fast. Jake had not dated a woman in what, 2 or 3 years. Reese had been married 7 years. They "meet" one day on the Rendition wardrobe try out and fall madly in love. Yeah right. They should have both dated 2 or 3 others, maybe even while dating each other. Then when the Rome promo came, they could get serious. That might have worked. Instead it looked fake from day one.

Anonymous said...

Interesting that Chris shows a restaurant in Paris that he was at this summer and it like the one Reeke was at this summer and Chris also says he worked for a week at a restaurant in London the beginning of December. Guess Chris still sees Jake alot more than anyone thought.

Thank you, 19:22. Nicely said. And this latest Reeke blitzkrieg of Sudden PDA (awkward at times though it is) & closeness is a 180 from allllll their photo ops last year. It's too much, too fast, too direct. It's like someone took the crank on the carnival ride and rammed it from slow to lightning speed since Jake got back from London. Unfortunately, the people who read only the rags don't really see what we've been seeing.

What does Ted means by "unnatural"? Isn't that term offensive? Why didn't he say anal sex.

Anonymous said...

Ted is gay, I don't think he would call anal sex "painfully unnatural and not exactly enjoyable".

I figure the blabber had her head bent way backwards and also her jaw ached.

reposting said...

Posters have jumped to the conclusion that this must mean anal but I don't think Ted, as a gay man, would use the word "unnatural" to mean anal. Also anal isn't necessarily painful at all speaking from personal experience. Depends on the active partner really.

Could be deap-throating oral. Could be unconfortable if the guy is numb and can't come for ages.

TMZ's Saturday morning story on Jake running yesterday was called "Jake Gyllenhaal Is Totally Bi ... ceps" then changed about 3 hours later to "Jake Gyllenhaal -- Ripped For Her Pleasure"

Was it a PR induced alteration to encourage Jake's straightness or is "Bi" a forbidden headline hook for online gossip sites/advertisers?

It could be Jake Gyllenhaal, mate

SPECULATION is growing that Jake Gyllenhaal will collect Heath Ledger's Golden Globe award today if the late Australian star wins the gong. Ledger, who died from a drug overdose last year, is considered a sure bet to be named best supporting actor for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

His Brokeback Mountain co-star Gyllenhaal will co-host the ceremony and is widely tipped to accept the award for Ledger. Ledger's father Kim has said he will not do the honours, after reports that he was in a battle with film producers over who should accept on Heath's behalf. Other contenders to pick up Ledger's award are Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman, who co-starred with him in Dark Knight.

Ledger is a favourite with bookies from Las Vegas to Alice Springs, who are offering just a few cents for every dollar punters place on Ledger for the win. Film critics and award analysts agree. The Los Angeles Times surveyed 14 critics and analysts and all 14 went for Ledger over the category's other nominees - Tom Cruise (Tropic Thunder), Robert Downey Jr (Tropic Thunder), Ralph Fiennes (The Duchess) and Philip Seymour Hoffman (Doubt).

Other stars up for Globes are Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep.

In the best drama category, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire are locked in battle. A Globe victory will give the winning film favouritism for next month's Oscars. Sean Penn, playing San Francisco's first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, in the acclaimed Milk, is expected to win best actor in a drama.

The best drama actress category appears to be a three-way contest between Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Streep (Doubt) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road). Jolie is an outsider for Changeling.

The Globes also reward TV shows, and two Australians, Rachel Griffiths (Brothers & Sisters) and Melissa George (In Treatment), will compete for the best supporting TV actress award.

Am I the only person who thinks that Jake SHOULD NOT accept Heath's award?

During the last two years Jake has done everything he could to get rid of his BBM fan base, to make people forget he even was in this movie, to become a mainstream actor, a straight-as-they-come stepdaddy in the making, etc.

Now,Heath is dead and his terrific perfomance as the Joker has drown more attention and response than Jake can even dream of. So, does Jake do? He suddenly decides to put himself back in the spotlight. He has Reese now, he's sure everyone thinks he's straight and he is safe to go on stage and pick up this award, although he is not worth it, he is not worth it, he is not worth it.

A year ago, where were you Jake?

Anonymous said...

The article is not correct,Jake will not be a co-host, he will be introducing the clip for Curious case Benjamin Button, that's it, no one is hosting the awards. Given the fact that they did not get that info corect, which can be found on goldderby.com among other places, I doubt that the other info is correct. Last week it was reported that Heath's father will be traveling to the states for the award.

Maggie and Aaron will be presenting an award togehter,it would make more sense if one them accepted it on his behalf.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt here that losing Heath was very, very difficult for him. Now, he's able to get a handle on it and speak of Heath with remembrance, admiration and love. If it was so difficult for his fans, you can only imagine how difficult it was for Heath's family and friends. Looking back on it now, it may have been wise for someone so much in the public eye as Jake is to wait to speak until he was ready, I hope he gives a lovely tribute if this is true. But we'll see; if it is Heath's Dad who accepts, that's great too, just as long as Heath wins. His performance was wonderful, I'll always love it.

I agree, too. I cannot imagine filming that movie with Heath, isolated in the mountains like they were and not developing a friendship during that time. Don't know what happened afterwards but it seems to me that they truly were friends. And to me it also appears that Jake's gazes at Heath hinted at more than just friendly feelings on Jake's part. If he ever speaks on Heath's passing or not, that's up to him now. It's all said & done. The damage was long done when he, Reese & co. appeared together in that park just days after his passing.

But we all make mistakes and if he followed some really bad advice on doing that photo op that day, well, hopefully he learned a valuable lesson.

Is it time for coffee yet??? Last minute dash to the store for a pair of hose for Reese? There's still time to get one more photo op in before you all have to leave for the GG's!

I don't want to see Jake accept for Heath either. He couldn't say anything a year ago, but wasn't so heartbroken that he could drag his sorry ass around that park with Reese days later, but now he'd do it? We all know why, because doing it at the GGs would get him a lot of publicity, and we all know Jake is all about being a fame whore these days. Plus after a year of Reeke, which includes the 24/7 reeking we've had since he's been back from London, it's hard not to think that pr now thinks Jake is now "straight" enough to mention Heath and BBM.

I hope Heath's family told him to get lost.

I'm really surprised Jake didn't attend that event last night. It was co-chaired by his producer from Nailed plus his director from Brothers and there was a Golden Globes tie in. Appearing with an upcoming costar (pictures of them together even at an after party would have sold well and been gold for the producers because it would be a way to get Brothers mentioned) is a sought after opportunity. Very strange choice to skip that event. Jim Sheridan can't be happy today. I heard he confirmed and then backed out at the eleventh hour.

Jake has a history of not turning up at events like this, why should ths one be any different? He did in the past but not in the past few years, and this was before Reese. He will show of course if he presents, but to just show up at an event for charity or any event where he wasn't the focus of attention?

Don't you remember that DCF poster that had a fit in 2006 when she bought tickets for some charity event that Jake was a n-show and turns out he was at some concert in MV? Boy was she pissed! LOL!!

Last year he and Reese were listed to atend a few awards events/parties and they never showed, but then several other stars that wee suppose to show didn't either.

You are making a big deal out of business as usual for Jake and don't say it was because Jim Sheridan was there because the event in 2006 was for a charity that his mother is on the board of trustees.

No way he confirmed and bowed out at the 11th hour because he never confirmed in the first place. It's not a good idea to repost BS from anon posters on an open blog looking for an audience.

Jake and Reese went to that GG/Party because they had to,it was CAA, neither looked thrilled and couldn't wait to leave.

PS: It makes zero sense to have Jake accept, makes more sense if Maggie and Aaron did since they were his co-stars in TDK, that would be really bad PR for Jake and he knows it.

Anonymous said...

^^But it was Jim Sheridan! I can't wait to see what happens tonight.

This is different. A bit of "Brothers" promo with Jim and Tobey makes sense.

Anonymous said...

Brothers promo? LOL! That movie has no buzz and a dodgy US date of Aug. oh yeah, Cannes in May.

Sheridan stil could have plugged Brothers w/o Jake or Natalie, though that would be tacky at a charity event.

If Jake's people confirmed and he didn't show (a more likely scenerio) then it wouldn't be the first time he was expected to show and din't w/o warning.

But don't worry, he will be there tonight because he is presenting, no mystery there. If TCCOBB wins, the clip that he will be introducing he can get plenty of photo ops of Jake posing with his Zodiac directer Fincher!!!

^^What an operator. :(

Exactly, the movie needs promotion. "Brothers" UK release date is Feb 27.

Anonymous said...

It's the wrong date. August is the date.

Anonymous said...

If the UK release date for Brothers is 2/27, then when will the US release be? It's an US production, shouldn't it open in the US first.

That UK release date is old, based on the earlier realease date for Brothers in Decemeber in the US. I assume that release date is from the IMDB page not updated as usual.

Sheridan claims that the movie will open in Aug. 09 in the US. They should release it in November.

Pimping this film this early with such a murky release date and no buzz makes no sense. Makes more sense for Kiki to show up and pose with Tobey, Spiderman 4 should be filming soon.

3:17.. Empire magazine (the UK's main film magazine) doesn't have Brothers listed as a release for 27th Feb, and there's been zero publicity so far for it. Maybe its going to have a very limited release, otherwise I think its probably delayed.

Anonymous said...

Strange, both sources (see links) look very reliable. Maybe there is a chance for "Brothers" in Cannes.

The event Jake missed was the NY chapter of GLAAD, which gave awards to Jake and Ang Lee, among others. There was never any confirmation that he was going to be there, and his mother is not on their board.

Anonymous said...

4:03.. no, the other poster was referring to some charity reading even. can't remember the details bit it certainly wasn't anything to do with GLAAD, more some sort of children's charity.

Anonymous said...

Children's literacy?

Anonymous said...

4:10.. something like that, all I remember is that the woman who had brought a ticket went ballistic.

I have just watched Critics Choice Award clip on YouTube. Everyone stood up when Nolan came on stage to accept the award for Heath.

I had a lump in my throat, although I'm not an emotional person at all.

This f**king award season is going to leave me a wreck. Seriously.

Anonymous said...

I missed that - do you have a link? Thank you. :)

Anonymous said...

4:03.. blinking hell I must be bored / sad / in need of a life. But here is the event (non-GLAAD), or at least one of them, when Jake was a no show.

no-show jakey

Anonymous said...

Jake let them know in advance:

"Gyllenhaal was a no show, but they replaced him with John Krasinski.. great choice."

Am I the only person who thinks that Jake SHOULD NOT accept Heath's award?

No.

"Am I the only person who thinks that Jake SHOULD NOT accept Heath's award?"

Good heavens, no! Im sure many, if not most, agree. There is no reason at all for him to do this - the wish is fanfic fantasy. Not to be taken seriously.

This is a time of sadness and regret, though, because of Heath's tragic death.

Anonymous said...

Am I the only person who thinks that Jake SHOULD NOT accept Heath's award?

You're not. There are more appropriate people to do it, IF Heath wins.

Anonymous said...

More appropriate if Aaron or Maggie accepts since they were both in TDK.

Anonymous said...

The only reason some are talking about it is that Jake was rumored to be accepting the award at Heath's family's request, and I wouldn't argue with that.

Anonymous said...

Rumor=hearsay. Why the hell would Heath's family want Jake to accept? They would want a co-star associated with TDK. Heath's family never publically mentioned Jake, the whole story was BS coming from the same source that said that jake was flying to OZ to attend Heath's funeral: The Australian press/rags.

Anonymous said...

The only person who said it was at the family's request is Lainey--this goes hand in hand with her continuing perpetuating myth about the holy perfection that is Jake and Reese. Give me a break. It's going to be someone from TDK. Maggie or Aaron or both would be obviously more acceptable than that twerp.

Anonymous said...

The Australian press/rags.

They write even more BS than the American press.

It's going to be someone from TDK. Maggie or Aaron or both would be obviously more acceptable than that twerp.

LOL. IA.

When you buy a ticket to an event like that there is no guarantee that everyone announced for it will show up. It's a fund-raiser, not a paying gig like a play or concert. And I'm sure a lot of names get put out there, knowing very well that not everyone is going to show up. But the event last night was different, it really was more like "work" for Jake given that he is presenting, Sheridan being honored, the producer of Nailed being involved as an organizer. He should have been there for them, not for the people who bought tickets. Plus he went to the party the night before, which was also more like "work." Who knows, he may've had a good excuse. Or maybe he went home and drank himself silly and had a mother of a hangover.

Pretty gowns this year - Aaron Eckhart looks really dashing in a classic tux - Danny Boyle, Freida Pinto and Dev Patel look beautiful too. Thanks for the link! :)

Anonymous said...

Maggie looks very nice. She was just interviewed by Ryan Seacrest. They did talk about Heath and how the whole thing is bittersweet and hard to talk about (because he died). She wants him to win (obviously).

Anonymous said...

Aaron and Maggie gave nice heath tributes. I guess no red carpet Jake.

Anonymous said...

What did Aaron say? (Some of us can't watch :( )

Anonymous said...

Anne looks great, love Drew Barrymore's Marilyn Monroe look :)

Anonymous said...

Love Drew too; Anne I thought looked a tad thin. Maggie looked good, but hated the dress. No Peter or Jake with her.

Anonymous said...

Drew Barrymore's hair looked a hot mess. I thought Anne and Maggie looked great, though :D

Anonymous said...

Jake is next!

Anonymous said...

I don't see why he just doesn't sit in the damn audience. Golly! People don't care about him and Reese that much that the camera will be perpetually on them.

Anonymous said...

Where is Jake?

Everyone must go to dlisted.com to read Michael K's live blog about the GG. It's beyond funny!

8:52 Michael K: Jakey is wearing too many clothes. If I'm going to have the hots for him, he's going to have to walk around nekkid everywhere.

8:52 Michael K: Jakey is presenting a clip for that old baby face movie shit with Brad Pitt.

8:53 Michael K: Kanye West should've introduced it, obviously.

8:53 Michael K: And all Kanye would've said is: DAAAAMMMM! THIS IS SOME BENJAMIN BUTTON'S SHIT!

"Life is complicated, and making it work is YOUR responsibility." - Oh, the irony that this was read by YOU, Jake Gyllenhaal.

9:01 Michael K: Chris Nolan just gave a very nice and touching speech. And I need another drink!

Anonymous said...

Wow. Jake honestly looked like he'd rather be anywhere else. Is because he knows that everyone else knows that his cover is completely blown?

Anonymous said...

Please explain.

Anonymous said...

Nothing vague about that question. Do most of the people in that room know he's Toothy/gay/bi/ncs/whatever and hiding it?

Anonymous said...

But they know the same about Cruise, Travolta and Spacey - why would that be a problem for anyone in Hollywood?

Anonymous said...

"Please explain."

explain what everybody with eyes to see knows? where have you been the past few years?

Anonymous said...

Hollywood is full of gay actors, Jake is nothing special.

Anonymous said...

Closeted gay actors.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if Jake stayed at the awards or if he did his intro and left. After all, Reeke can not compete with Brad and Angie. Also, I still think that Maggie is not OK with the bearding and her and Jake are not on good terms. Whether Jake really has a seperate public and private life, it looks like he hasn't seen Maggie in months. Plus, can't imagine Maggie liking anything about Reese.

Anonymous said...

Lol! Why did Robert Downey Jr. put those shades on?

Anonymous said...

^^He's a creep. And he seemed pissed when Heath won.

Posted on OMG:

RDJ came off like a jerk on the red carpet. When asked about his good year he said it was due to hanging with a better crowd of people, and then put his arm around his wife. Really turned me off.

I guess by better crowd he means people like Reese and his beard.

Anonymous said...

Tracey Morgan just stole my heart! lol! Just hilarious.

Anonymous said...

And yet when Heath's name was announced, Tom Cruise got up and started clapping--looking glad that Heath won. Now I know Cruise is a bit manic--duh, but I know people who have met him and interviewed him and they always tell me how well-mannered and gracious he is.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, what I also liked about Tom was that he laughed at the absurdity of it all, kinda like, "What a silly role to get an award for, but ah well, I had fun playing the character, so, 'why the hell not?!'" He did a great job in the film, but he was having fun and you could tell.

Anonymous said...

Tom and RDJ were not in the same catagory as Heath. Heath was up for best SA in a drama and Tom and RDJ were up for best SA in a comedy.

Jake looked fine, just trying a bit hard to be serious. What a silly comment, if that was the case then then he should have been in that frame of mind when he presented in '07 since according to sources, everyone figured out who TT was way back in the summer of '05.
Cover blown my ass, yeah like Cruise, Clooney, Franco, Smith, Spacey, Zac.....

Anonymous said...

Dumb babbler. Tom, TDJ and Heath were all in the same category; they don't have separate comedy/drama categories for the supporting roles.

Anonymous said...

"Tom and RDJ were not in the same catagory as Heath. Heath was up for best SA in a drama and Tom and RDJ were up for best SA in a comedy."

??? They were all in the same category. What are you talking about?

Just trying to be silly, my ass. He looked like he wanted to get the hell outta there, but I guess it all boils down to a matter of opinion.

"I saw him talking to Fincher when they came back fom break, he looked fine, relaxed and serious."
Damn, I keep lookig and haven't seen him. So wait, the Chin may be there and the camera has flashed on her? Reese, former GG winner and Oscar winner, Witherspoon must be fuming that they didn't show her but keep showing Angelina. Also, notice that Jake was the only actor that they introduced that they only said his name. He wasn't starring in anything or the star of anything upcoming. Guess they couldn't say Reese Witherspoon's boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal.

Anonymous said...

I didn't see him either...

Anonymous said...

Iheartjake has u-tube and other downloads of Jake presenting.

He's looking stiff and his neck is thicker because of being pumped up - wonder if he's uncomfortable in his new body. I am.

Anonymous said...

Reese was not in the audience you silly fangirl, Jake did not have a table like he didn't have a table in '07. Angelina is up for an award and has a table. Maggie didn't have a table either.

Not too sure if he was the only actor that they only mentioned his name and you are correct he has nothing to promote which makes the fact that Brothers is not coming out in the UK in Feb. 09.

The GG's are tacky but they ain't US or OK , son no silly fangirl they wouldn't mention Reese nor didthey mention Vanessa when Zac was on, Marc when J-Lo was on, etc.

Jake conducted himself with class, none of that sily goofy attempt at humor crap he reies to pull, someone is teaching him.

Interesting he had to pause by Finchers table to schmooze, i gues he ain't hanging around for the parties!!!

Anonymous said...

I missed Jake talking to Fincher; I hope he's going to do Torso, if that rumor is true. I also missed Maggie and Aaron on the Red Carpet; I thought Maggie looked great, loved her dress, a little bit cutting edge and mostly classy, but not over the top, and she has a lovely speaking voice. Aaron looked great. Jake did seem more mature, I thought he did well. :)

Anonymous said...

I loved Drew Barrymore's MM look too - she's such a sweetheart. Tracey Morgan was so funny too. :)

Anonymous said...

Jake seemed nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Where was Madame Phonyspoon? LOL

Maybe he was thinkin some fan from this blog or OMG had silpped in and was gonna blurt out about BT and Austin! Ha!
He was outta there faster than the Road Runner....Or perhaps he saw Ted hanging around. Tee Hee.

Yay Heath, A winner. Very tastefully done by Nolan.

Ledger's dad is 'overjoyed at Golden Globe win'

Heath Ledger's father has expressed his delight at the late star's Golden Globe win. tent

Despite rumours Kim Ledger would accept the prize on his tragic son's behalf, personal reasons meant Ledger Sr. watched the event from his home in Perth, Australia. But he passed on his joy to People.com soon after The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan collected the Best Supporting Actor award.

Ledger said, "We are overjoyed for him. It's wonderful."

Best & Worst of the Globes: "Hello, Mama Talkin'!"

What's the best thing that happened? The worst? The most "OMG, I can't believe what happened" moment? Read on.

Best Showstopper/Buzz Kill: Ever wonder what it'd be like to be the child of a famous person like J.Lo? Wonder no more, TV audience. The singer-actress-perfume let the chatty celebrities know who's boss when she shushed them with a stern "Hello, hello—mama talkin'." Are you impressed—or scared?

Kate Winslet Is the Reader! No, really. She totally read a superlong list of people and near-people (agents, eh) she wanted to thank, and, well, as much as we like to be read to, we prefer historical romance.

Sting—WTF? The singer seemed to have been replaced by an 18th-century buccaneer. Mind you, we aren't complaining...

The Curious Place Setting of Benjamin Button: The camera caught Brad Pitt asking a tablemate, "What's that for?" We're pretty sure he was curious at the award being given, and not one of those tiny forks at the table.

Best Performance by a Non-nominated Actor: Ricky Gervais, who came out to shush the crowd—"How rude are you lot?"— and then proceeded to turn in an impromptu comedy routine that was at least as good—and as long!—as Tom Cruise's in Tropic Thunder.

Most Newsworthy: No, David Duchovny didn't win an award for pretending to be a writer who has sex a lot (Calific-tion!), but he did mention his "wife" in his speech, which led every celeb reporter and editor watching to start preparing a story on the state of his marriage.

Best Reactions: Tina Fey. Tom Hanks. Tom Cruise. Some stars earn their awards/paychecks/creepy celebrity followers by remembering that fans are watching them at these shows sitting, eating, giving speeches. And they remember to look like they're enjoying it. Good job, folks. Can you get some of your bored-looking colleagues to follow suit?

Least Best Role Model: Sure, Tom Wilkinson is an awesome actor and got a much-deserved award, but Paul Giamatti blew our buzz when he revealed, "[The guy] got me smokin' again." Encouraging the competition to smoke is no way to get better parts, Wilkinson.

Best Writing: "Mind-reading barmaid in love with a vampire," "veteran, experienced stripper," "marijuana-dealing suburban mom." We don't know who composes the descriptions of all the nominated roles, but that writer should get a deal. That's some crazy stuff.

Least Helpful Insider Tip: We don't want to suggest we have any insider knowledge, but we are pretty confident Slumdog Millionaire has some Oscar buzz.

Bruges, Brother: Colin Farrell won for this small comic caper film, and gave a long, deeply entertaining speech that touched on more emotions than most films.

Biggest Upset: Did you know the awards were in HD? (OK, we were surprised by this.)

Best Speech: Newcomer Sally Hawkins gave a humble, winning speech that lacked the kind of breathless "Who me?" bunk that some winners try to pull off. Forgetting, of course, that this is an awards show and they are one of five possible winners, so why be surprised?

Worst Absence: Heath Ledger.

Best Animation: Those delightful Jonas Brothers handed out the award to Wall-E, and we were totally convinced they were real. It's amazing what computers can do these days.

Best Ad: Tracy Morgan is just one of the reasons to watch 30 Rock, but letting him give a speech full of his special brand of loony onstage was inspired: "I'm the face of postracial America: Deal with it, Cate Blanchett!" Whatever that meant, it was funny.

Most Promising: Onstage with Frieda Pinto from Slumdog Millionaire, Bollywood film star Shahrukh Khan said he would do "a pelvic Indian dance, but they would shoo [him] off the stage." Um, actually, we think half the audience would be tossing dollar bills onstage, but still it was probably best to let the moment pass.

Hottest Presenter: We're going with Johnny Depp, because he seemed like he just woke up from some sexy dream, and because Glenn Close looked like an excited schoolgirl when he came onstage. Trust us, it ain't easy to get Close to squeal.

This Speech Has Been Rated R: Mickey Rourke's speech was filled with plenty of heart and tough, salty talk, and it was punctuated by Rourke's Wrestler director giving him the finger. Thankfully, it was followed up by the producer of big winner Slumdog Millionaire, who blurted out a bleepable word when he found his stage time was being wrapped up.

Normally, stars make fun of one another, often quite mercilessly. In 2006, George Clooney brought down the house when he opened the envelope for best supporting actress and announced, “Leonardo DiCaprio.”

According to Lainey's "sources," Jake may be accepting Heath's Golden Globe should he win Sunday night. She claims that Heath's family still doesn't know whether they'll come and that if they don't, they want Jake (YEAH, RIIIGHHT) to accept the award on Heath's behalf.

YEAH, RIIIGHHT, you were right :)

I will add Di caprio ( who played in porno gay at 18), Jackman, Damon and affleck ( who were an old couple according old rumours),and soon ( surely) Hirch , mac gregor and carrey why not!

No, no one ever said "everybody is gay".
A lot of actors in Hollywood are gay and everybody in Hollywood and the rest of the world knows that.
