^ Jake said (to two fans) he and Heath were close and that Heath was a "special" friend to him. Maybe he lied, who knows?
I thought the character really showed a good respect and admiration for a different culture. Douglas' character seemed a bit uncomfortable, & understandably so, with a different culture...
Plus I'm pretty sure the reason Jake chose the name Douglas is that it's my middle name. :)

Michelle Williams Takes A Coffee Break
Michelle Williams takes daughter Matilda, who turns 3 on Tuesday, to pick up her morning coffee at a local diner in Brooklyn, New York City on Friday morning.
In her new book, “Heath, a Family’s Tale”, author Janet Fife-Yeomans reveals how Heath gave up a string of glamorous affairs when he met Michelle and had Matilda.

I agree. Jake was miscast in Zodiac (a very well known film critic whose name I can't remember said that but was very diplomatic about it) and AWFUL in Rendition. (But I agree he looked hot and his hairy chest was nice--but that doesn't make a good or great performance). The fangirls here who think that Rendition was wonderful are zonked in the head. And yes, it was very cliched, particularly the mindless interpretations of the Middle East. At one point, I expected Jake to walk out of a casbah with a fez on his head.

Super delicious computer company Apple today came out against Proposition 8, which would (say it with us!) overturn gay marriage in California. From a message left in the "hot news" section of Apple's website:
"Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign. Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights — including the right to marry — should not be affected by their sexual orientation. It worth looking at the jogging pics just to see Reese struggling to keep up with Jake and falling behind. Why would he do a photo op like this when it's obivious he's a serious jogger and she not. Flynet video is mistaken, the caps on the photos on IHJ say trainer, the dark hair women looks like a trainer, the blonde woman may be a friend.
The 2nd set of pics on IHJ is part of the flynet vide and it's clear that they did not seperate. The video shows Reese and Deacon getting in the car and Jake walkng away with a cup of coffee. The IHJ pics shows all 3 of them and then Jake is walking with Deacon holding his hand with the coffee.
It looks like they met up down the street and the paps followed them, the video didn't catch that. These pics were obviously taken after not before because he wouldn't be carrying the coffee so there was no second car.
Also in the flynet jogging video,Jake clearly turns to Reese and says i'll run ahead and she stops then jogs in place with her friend or trainer.

Well if there is a second car it's invisible, odd that in both video and pics there is no second car. And in the pics the car she was in seems to have dissapeared. Ryan's girlfriend spends just as much time with the kids as Jake. I could see him being jealous if he still wanted to be with Reese or if he was not in a relationship but since he is involved and clearly relieved to be away from Reese I would think he's fine with his kids being with someone he likes.
I don't think Ryan is jealous, afterall Deacon I'm sure holds Abbie's hand as well. The difference is that Ryan's relationship is real and the kids are comfortable with Abbie, while the J/R relationship is fake and the kids are not comfortable with Jake. Ava is older and she can be told what to do but Deacon is still too young and they still can't control his body language & facial expressions.

I have never believed in BabyTile.
First, Jake is too busy working on movies and spends all his waking moments with Reese and Kids.
Second, Austin is too busy get projects to become a more relevent actor of movies and TV, and to become a C or B list Celebrity. He is still pretty much unknown to most. If J/A did adopt a surogate baby, then they should give it back. No child should be raised by two people working so hard and don't want to be seen with it.
Third, Chris and Jake having raising a baby together is more logical, but since Chris is and has been in Europe (France or Italy) since September at some cooking school / academy I think teaching, where is the time??? Jake and Reese met years BEFORE Rendition (Reese confirmed that during LA Rendition press conference).
In Rendition they didn't have any scenes together, so they didn't really work together.

My own husband and myself have observed our marriage vows and the basic relationship of love and trust is between ourselves. We expect our children to grow to maturity without the stickiness of feeling that they are STUCK in relationship with their needy parents.
