Jay Z knows how to keep friends in every corner of Hollywood with the rapper attending a reported “business meeting” with his unlikely friend Jake Gyllenhaal yesterday and it seems their discussions went well as the rapper seemed more than happy to hug a male fan when leaving the building.
The hip-hop mogul was spotted in the Meatpacking District yesterday afternoon where he is believed to have attended a meeting with his friend, Love & Other Drugs actor Gyllenhaal, who was seen following the 'Holy Grail' rapper out of the New York City building.
It doesn't appear to have been a serious meeting with Jay Z, 44, wearing a rain coat, grey hoodie and jeans while Jake braced himself against the cold with a large beanie with his hood on top.
While it's not known what the meeting was about, the pair have actually been friends for a few years and have been spotted enjoying a number of nights out together including last year, when Jake joined Jay Z, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland at a basketball.
A source told People magazine at the time that they embraced each other with a big hug while the year before, Jake partied with Pharrell Williams, Beyonce, her mother Tina and sister Solange.
They were also spotted dining together with a group of friends on a separate occasion. Meanwhile, it seems Jay Z's mood was lifted after the meeting wearing a broad smile and even welcoming an excited middle-aged fan who couldn't believe he had bumped into the superstar who hails from Brooklyn.
Rather than send his security team to brush the man away, Jay Z kindly shook hands with the fan and even gave him a manly hug before hopping into his limo.

Working Title starts on Everest film

Mount EverestThe dramatised account of a fateful expedition to climb Mount Everest is the latest feature from UK production powerhouse Working Title Films.
Filming started on Monday (13 January) in Nepal with Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Jason Clark, Tom Goodman-Hill and John Hawkes starring as members of various groups of climbers who attempted to scale the highest mountain in the world in 1996. When a massive and blinding snowstorm hit, it killed eight climbers in total.
Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur (2 Guns) is calling the shots from a screenplay by William Nicholson and Justin Isbell.
The team is currently in Nepal, after which they head to Italy before arriving in the UK in early March to film at Pinewood Studios.

In interviews Jake is lying about moving to New York - he lives in LA with Austin and kids, and just travels to New York for arranged photo ops! Because Jake living in his home town town, where he has a house, centre of Hollywood business, would make people think that he is married and has kids with Austin!
