Because PR was desperate to make look like Jake was in New York that weekend.

Extras needed in Pittsburgh for "Steel Town" starring Maggie Gyllenhaal
Shortly after Jake Gyllenhaal filmed “Love and Other Drugs” in the Steel City, his famous sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, is now shooting “Steel Town,” and the film is in need of extras.
Extras looking to be in the film should head to the Pittsburgh Radisson, at 101 Radisson Drive in Green Tree, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. to attend an open casting call to be in the film.
“Steel Town” has been filming in Squirrel Hill and other various places in the greater Pittsburgh area.
The film was originally called “Still I Rise,” and it will be about strong women who try to fix a failing inner-city school. Viola Davis, who won an Oscar for “Doubt,” will play the other leading role opposite of Gyllenhaal. Other co-stars include Oscar Isaac and Holly Hunter.
Daniel Barnz, who most recently directed and wrote “Beastly,” starring Vanessa Hudgens, will also be writing and directing “Steel Town.”
