Jake has the capacity to be a great actor. But first he has to stop hiding his true self. You cant be a great actor unless you are willing to put it all out there. Open your soul. Hiding 95% of the time makes it hard to do that when the camera calls for it. Except for BBM and physical workouts to get buff Jake has been a lazy actor.

TDAT is a disaster CGI movie, not actor's movie. It didn't make Jake famous and Jake wasn't great in it to make an impact.

He was wonderful as Batman, in fact he's my favorite next to Nolanverse's Christian Bale. Keaton had the best caret symbol eyebrows, eyes and sculpted lips. For a comic actor, I couldn't believe the transformation once he got into costume. Hot. And hot opposite Michelle Pfeiffer.

You aren't making any sense: Jake owns his career and millions in the bank to BBMt.
I don't think you have to have been a superhero to be successful actor at all - in fact, it might even be a liability to careers. But they are fun, and the smart ones like Nolan's world are remarkable. I never will know just how Heath and Nolan created that bad but so sexy Joker. I wonder if Batman and Catwoman will be like Tim Burton's version, or more subtle. Or perhaps it's time for them to pull out all the stops! Hey it's Hollywood. Some want to put Heath on a pedestal and I agree that he was a pretty good actor with great potential, but he had set backs with his film choices and seem to be going in the wrong direction until BBM. As stated before, BBM raised the stakes in all of their careers. Well, maybe Ann who did not receive a nomination in BBM, but her performance in the fashion movie with Streep was the big push, but still, BBM pushed the doors wide open for all three of them. Especially Jake and Heath.
