USA Network debuts a new Tuesday night line-up this week with the return of White Collar, which will be stealing away In Plain Sight’s title as the most gay-inclusive USA drama by adding lesbian agent Diana Lancing into the mix. However, I think AfterElton readers are more drawn to White Collar’s hunky co-stars Matt Bomer and Big Eden’s Tim DeKay, along with the fun of watching Sex and the City alum Willie Garson.

Do-gooding, good-looking duo Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols hit Lexus' Darker Side of Green debate at Hollywood's Palihouse last night to discuss their recent trip to the Gulf.
"It was a very sobering experience," Sophia told me of their trip to the devastated region. "It was incredibly depressing spending time with the fishermen and all of the locals."
Luckily, she had her boyfriend and One Tree Hill costar to lean on. "It is really nice to have someone there that cares about you," Austin said. "The first day we got back, she started crying. It was really heavy."
The two also got to enjoy a lighter vacay this summer with a trip to Hawaii. So, could the romantic destination and their characters' onscreen engagement lead to actual wedding bells? "In real life? We shall see," Austin told me with a grin, before ducking inside to watch the debate.
And believe us when we say Sophia's environmental dedication is the real deal. During the debate, which featured an environmentalist squaring off against a global warming skeptic, she couldn't hide her disdain for the latter view. "I am so angry right now!" she was overheard fuming during his argument.
Another cuddly couple checking out the event: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. Although they walked the carpet separately, the two snuggled up on a couch inside.
Ashton Kutcher was also in attendance and didn't seem phased that one debator called him out by name for being a hypocrite. He later headed to MyStudio, where he drank Belvedere and hung with former costar Lake Bell.

Hey, I certainly agree that Adam is hot and that Clay isn't :) - but I remember all those Claymates or whatever they were who were so in love with Clay and were so sure he was straight, lol. Did he lose a lot of those female fans when he came out? Or did his appeal in general just kind of fade?

A: I do think both are very important, and occasionally a straight ally has a disproportionately large impact. Example: here in the U.S., Coretta Scott King, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s widow and perhaps the nation’s top civil rights activist, took an early and prominent stand not just in favor of GLBT rights, but also same-sex marriage. I think it’s impossible to overstate how influential and validating this was.
Likewise, men like David Beckham, Brad Bitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Barack Obama, George Clooney, and Nick Youngquest are rapidly making it “uncool” to be homophobic.
But on the whole, I don’t think anyone speaks for us like we speak for ourselves. I’ve worked with GLBT teenagers for many years now, and one I thing I’ve noticed again and again: nothing changes a school like the mere presence of out gay kids. Once actual human faces are put on the issue, it changes everything.

Wow, you're right. This piece is a big mess. I like Jamie Lee Curtis, and I know where she wanted to go with it - we all need to look at ourselves first before we start pointing fingers, etc. But she jumped all over the place and never really tied all the different subjects together in a cohesive way. And it was a poor choice of a headline. I realize someone else wrote the headline, but it looks like they didn't even read her essay, they just skipped to the last paragraph. Not much good having an editor if they don't bother to read the entire piece, lol.

I saw The Kids are All Right last night. Great movie. More than it's about a gay family it's really an honest look at what it is like to be in a marriage for many years. That's something I've rarely seen in a film. And it's a very adult film in a way you just don't see anymore.
Everyone is really good in it too. I love Mark Ruffalo, it's a shame he doesn't work more.

That's not what goes on. It's really about being with the same person forever, and what happens when couples get bored, give too much attention to work and kids, etc. As one of the characters says in the movie, marriage is a marathon.
And it's not a HW movie with it's neat HW feel-good wrap up everything kind of film.

Thanks, destiny. Most of the reviews I've read are really positive, even glowing. I like that it's an adult film and you're right that we don't get much of that anymore. HW isn't much interested in anything that doesn't attract teens and those in their early 20s. I get that they're interested in box office, but it does leave us with some shallow stuff.

It's a fantastic cast. Every one of them is a really gifted actor and I've always loved Ruffalo. He's like a hidden gem that needs to be seen more.

DD, do I have a bit of a juicy story for you, not so much sexual but concerning some famous names. I just met a client who actually lives
just down the road from me. He is some big name movie producer, done lots of TV stuff and films. Nice guy, late 30's, nothing special to

The pair collaborated on the song 'Cause An Effect', with Ledger directing the music video. It was the last project that Ledger worked on, and is released this week.

It's a really funny, sweet, imaginative movie and I thought it was the perfect way to end the series, but I won't say more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
