Father's Day

Clay Aiken and Parker
Clay Aiken

October 2008

Becoming a father led to another life-changing decision for Clay Aiken, 29, the American Idol runner-up whose awkward charm, flat-ironed red hair and soulful sound inspired a curious and deeply devoted cult of music fans who call themselves Claymates. Long dogged by rumors about his sexuality, Aiken decided the time had come for him to publicly acknowledge what he's known privately since he was in college: He's gay.

Says Aiken: "It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."

Ricky Martin, Matteo and Valentio
Ricky Martin

December 2008

"I’m going to concentrate on becoming a better, stronger, more complete person. All throughout my career — a career I’ve pursued since I was twelve — I have had to make sure to please people and ensure that people were happy with the things I was doing. At this moment, though, I’m focusing on what makes me happy. My sons are happy and they’re going to grow up being sure of themselves. When they ask a question, they will always receive an answer given with the utmost honesty and sincerity. They’re not going to feel ‘different,’ because there are hundreds — thousands — of children all over the world who are raised solely by their mothers or only by their fathers. I’m choosing to focus on the light, not the dark.

I always knew a wanted to be a father. I have such happy childhood memories of my own dad, and I thought it was important to share that kind of love with children of my own.

I felt a real need to see myself reflecting in my children’s eyes, that’s why I decided to go with a surrogate. It was the best option for me at this point in my life. There are people who think that science and medicine don’t go with God, but I see art and God’s hand in each and every one of my sons’ movements, in each smile and every cry. This whole process has been a spiritual one for me. Becoming a parent has been a blessing."

March 29, 2010

If someone asked me today, "Ricky, what are you afraid of?" I would answer "the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war...child slavery, terrorism...the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith." But fear of my truth? Not at all! On the contrary, It fills me with strength and courage. This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day. To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids were born with.

2:28, what are you talking about? There is no baby tile, but Sophia and Austin still look like fools the way they're promoting themselves. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

Anonymous said...

There could be nuclear war, and all some of you would say was that it was promoting Austin and Sophia in some way, and to get the babies tile to a fallout shelter.

Congratulations, you are just the kind of fangirl who buys Austin and Sophia's bullshit!

Matt Peterson is very happy to have the celebrity support of Sophia and Austin:

Somewhere in the Air, USA — I am on the way down to the Gulf Coast as I write (Delta has wifi!) to go out on the water in the Gulf tomorrow, and attempt to help clean up the Louisiana beaches impacted by the BP oil spill.

Joining us on the trip are Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols of One Tree Hill, the TV show. While they have the amazing ability to get nearly 20,000 twitter followers (@SophiaBush, @AUS10NICHOLS) in just a few days, they are just like many of us — angry about the spill, and wanting to help

I'm sure Sophia and Austin are very happy to have Matt Peterson's support, that makes their twitter "effort" look real.

If Sophia and Austin want to "share their pictures" and educate the masses, they could at least have a better camera geez.

Megan Fox is one lady who doesn't mince her words. As Sky Showbiz found out first-hand when we interviewed her at the Jonah Hex premiere in Los Angeles.

While the lady herself is charming, we can't help but wonder if her parting words were a bit of a dig at Prince of Persia star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Watch our video and decide.

Megan's Dig At Jake?

Anonymous said...

It sounded like she was kidding about the ethnicity thing - she mentions she would love to play the Native American Superhero Rainmaker, and she's only part Native American. I'd love to see her play Rainmaker. In fact, Jonah Hex looks pretty good as an action adventure. Love a man with a scarred face. ;)

Anonymous said...

Plus, Sarah Rainmaker flys, and is either lesbian or bisexual. Megan isn't Apache tho.

Anonymous said...

Megan's Dig At Jake?

Megan would never do that ;)

Anonymous said...

And she can control the weather. I'd love to be able to hurl a lighting bolt at somebody. ;)

Anonymous said...

Megan Fox is such a stupid cow. I bet she doesn't even know where Persia (Iran) is. Her career will be over soon.

Anonymous said...

I hope not, Megan is the only sex bomb under 30 in Hollywood.

Anonymous said...

She looks cheap in my eyes, not sexy.

Anonymous said...

Beautiful and sexy, despite ugly tattoos, fake tits and other plastic surgery. She has it. (I'm straight female)

Anonymous said...

I think she's gorgeous. She's hot in a way that men like, I think.

A review I read of Jonah Hex:

You could do worse than this and if you have been going to the movies this summer with any regularity, you most likely already have.

And not PoP. ;)

It sounds kinda interesting. I love a Western, any kind, and this is sort of a supernatural one.

Anonymous said...

I guess kind of a bad girl sexiness that a man hopes a woman has. Her face is gorgeous, and I have always loved saloon girl costumes. Josh Brolin is sexy too.

IA, she's not terribly bright but she's beautiful and hot, no question.

You can not generalize men's taste. It always depends on the men what he is looking for in a woman, same goes for women.

Anonymous said...

Of course. Some men. In my experience. ;)

Anonymous said...

Or a lot of men. ;)

Anonymous said...

We're not talking what a man wants in a real woman anyway. It's more of a fantasy woman.

I don't think so. You're forgetting that the guy who tweeted about Jake and Marcus lives in London and he makes no reference in his other tweets about being in Tenn at the festival. The tweet was from June 16, Mumford and Sons' concert at Bonnaroo was on June 12. Why would he wait 4 days to write something so generic? His tweet was most likely a comment on the pics of Jake and Marcus coming out of Lamill.

Fucking hell that gave me a headache. That's worse than Ted on pills and that's saying something!

The point is the obvious triangle of links.

Who cares about some dude sat there tweeting at 6 in the morning in London while so and so was somewhere and blah blah blah.

How do you know that guy is even who he says he is in the place he says he is? Fucking bloody tweets. Everyone sets their watches and lives to these things as if they're all true. Jesus wept.

Let me tell you something little lady, I know Jake and Austin spent QUALITY time together in Texas back when all of you guys thought he was moping around LA or cycling with the bros. If Jake wants to be somewhere to see someone he'll make time and it won't get reported because he has people to make sure it don't get reported.

After all, Jake is invovled with GG, but this is the first time I've heard of Sophia having anything to do with any environmental causes. And Jake would get a hell of a lot more attention.

Remember 50 Years Ago When Time Was Reporting Fantastical Theories About Gays? said...

A lot has happened in the newsweekly magazine space over the last few decades. Namely, they've become less read and less relevant! Blame cable news and blogs and Twitter. But like the rest of the media and America, they've gradually transformed from printed homophobic theory into well-reasoned discussion factories on LGBT politics and life. Let's take Time magazine as a case study, shall we?

A user on MetaFilter examined some of Time's gay archives from the 1950s thru 70s to document how the copy changed, which itself is a case study showing how the magazine's queer slant evolved.

Here's a snippet from 1956 "Curable Disease?":

"What is homosexuality? Is it curable? Some recent misleading propaganda alleges that homosexuality is an incurable, hereditary condition, and that the homosexual way of life is therefore "normal" for an unspecified proportion of the population . . . Not so says Manhattan Psychoanalyst Edmund Bergler. In Homosexuality: Disease or Way of Life? (Hill and Wang; $5), published last week, he swiftly demolishes some popular misconceptions.

Homosexuality, says Analyst Bergler, is neither a "biologically determined destiny, nor incomprehensible ill luck." In Freudian terms he traces a complicated pattern of the development of homosexuality from infantile frustrations, through "pleasure in displeasure." to unconscious psychic masochism. The full-grown homosexual, as Bergler sees him, wallows in self-pity and continually provokes hostility to ensure himself more opportunities for self pity he "collects" injustices—sometimes real, often fancied; he is full of defensive malice and flippancy, covering his depression and guilt with extreme narcissism and superciliousness. He refuses to acknowledge accepted standards even in nonsexual matters, assuming that homosexuals have a right to cut moral corners as compensation for their "suffering." He is generally unreliable, in an essentially psychopathic way."

I don't think it's PG, either. I don't even think it really sounds like her - even though someone may be trying to make it seem like it.

Anonymous said...

^^That is fairly common. :(

Anonymous said...

TIME's evolution is a reflection of the times and all kinds of media will continue to evolve; I'm sure any news weekly or paper you would examine would be the same. It is not endorsing those theories; only reporting on them. I don't know what the point is with the article - obviously a lot has changed since 1956.

Here is part of an interview Jake conducted with the French Film Studio Live and it's a goodie with some more about Love and Other Drugs (excuse, as always, the (mis)translation): 'I learned of Prince of Persia as a film for the whole family, like a tale that should be read aloud, and it changed my way of acting. I played Prince Dastan as if I were telling a story to a child - and to the child in all of us. I rush around with a sword in my hand, I'm fighting with the princess, I embrace, I fight, I jump from roof to roof, it was so much fun.'

Directors: 'I just finished a movie with Edward Zwick, Love and Other Drugs, and we were two friends, like members of the same team but he was the leader. It was amazing. Then I made a completely different film, and what matters is being able to adapt and do what is expected of you. I'd hope that a director has an open heart. I'd hope that we respected each other. I like a director to be confident, but he can also be vulnerable, and we can all ask: Can I redo a scene a hundred times if it means that the result will be a great movie?'

'Several of the directors that I worked with told me I should do the role because the story interests me more than for the performance itself as an actor. If I'm told I have a choice between being an extraordinary actor or be in an extraordinary film, I'd choose the second option. It's the story and narrative that stay in people's minds. Importantly, this is not me in a movie, that's what we are trying to tell the public.'

The Oscar nomination 'is the dream of every actor. At the age when it happened, I felt that it was premature - but I was thrilled! It helps a lot in terms of one's career. The perception people had of me has changed, but I don't know if that's just due to my performance or the film itself. I remember how totally surreal it was to hear my name mentioned along with all those other amazing actors. What moved me most was to be made a member of the Academy, and to be told that I was part of this community of artists who created such great films.'

If there is a movie that made Jake understand more about the business: 'Curiously, this happened while shooting my last film, Love and Other Drugs. Maybe it happened a bit late! They told me one day: "It starts with blind ambition, you don't know why we do what we do, we think we know, and then gradually we begin to understand what motivates us". With this film, something fell into place, I started to see who I was and what I did, and it was very liberating. Any business is competitive, one tries to find one's own voice... "No, I'll just be me and we'll see where it will take me."'

'Q: Your sister, Maggie, told me that all the films she has performed are fragments of herself. Do you feel that too?' Jake: 'That's beautifully said and it's very true. My brother [the actor Peter Sarsgaard] told me one day there was an immediate response in the theatre, whereas in the cinema, you hear the answer a year after filming. And because we are in the character's skin for a long time, one can not help thinking that this response, positive or negative, falls on us, as human beings - things are mixed. But no, it is only a performance. I think that is why Maggie spoke of fragments... What you put in a movie is true at that time, and corresponds to what we are at that moment.'

Anonymous said...

Does it hurt Jake that some films, like Brothers, are less well-received than others? 'A close friend's grandfather survived the Holocaust and he often says, very simply: "Things are what they are." It helps me tremendously. I am privileged to continue making films, and what matters is the time to make a film like Brothers. I have no control over the rest. It's the experience on set that is important. Then, the film follows its path. Donnie Darko was a flop when it came out... and now there's not a day when you don't hear about it. Things find their proper place, and we must just agree to follow.'

'Q: Did you feel pressure to sell yourself by making certain movies?' Jake: 'I felt this pressure, it exists, and I've not always responded clearly. But to feel this pressure and to give in to it are two different things. I made some choices that were well thought out, and others which were totally instinctive. I have not always been clear in my choices, but I tried. And I think I try more and more the older I get and I learn to trust my heart. Sometimes it feels wrong, sometimes it hurts, it can be difficult, but if we have enough confidence in our heart, most of the time, down the road, you get rewarded, even if there were painful moments. And that's true for everything in life.'

Dear Ted:
Even though he's considerably older than I am, I've always loved Peter Sarsgaard! His marriage to Maggie Gyllenhaal seems pretty genuine. Is it? Please tell me he's as nice and down-to-earth as he seems to be!

Dear Armed Gaard:
Take a deep breath, McC, Peter and Maggie are as real as they come. Besides, it's not like Maggie's exactly fake-trophy-wife material. But they've also got their kink on, too, no worries.

Dear Ted:
Am I the only one who thinks Renée Zellweger is looking pretty rough these days and who wonders what Bradley Cooper sees in her?
—Sally

Dear Southern Zell:
You're definitely not alone there, sweets. She must be great in the sack to have landed a hunk like Bradley. I'll disagree, though—she's not looking rough ‘these days." It's all days, ever since she got her Oscar for Cold Mountain. Why doesn't anybody talk about the Academy-Award curse for looks, too? It's always only about love and career.

Dear Ted:
Any news about Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine? Love him and I was wondering if he has ever been a Blind Vice or if he is B.V. material?
—Andie

Dear OMG!
Darling, he is definitely no stranger to the raunchy behavior of a typical B.V. bad boy. But no, he hasn't been anointed into B.V. infamy...not yet.

That pic was posted on Sophia's FB along with the pics of Austin and his niece and nephew, Austin, his parenst and Sophia vacationing, and of them at that wedding. What I don't get is why haven't Sophia and Austin tsken steps to take down that site and why they continue to post personal pics unless they want people to hack them.

Not only is that sick but unethical as well, no doctor in his right mind would do that.

Someone posted it on Jake's IMDB page then deleted it, i was reminded of it when the Austin/niece/nephew pics were posted here.

What exactly is gestational surrogacy?

Gestational surrogacy involves In Vitro Fertilization where reportedly “fertilized eggs from another woman are implanted into the surrogate’s uterus”.

So, in basic English, the woman who gave birth to Ricky Martin’s twins is not the twins’ biological mother. Traditional surrogacy, however, is done via artificial insemination, when “the surrogate using her egg and another man’s sperm”.

Naomi Watts cannot bring herself to watch Heath Ledger's final film, The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus, because it is too confronting.

The Aussie actress dated Ledger for two years between 2002 and 2004.

For Watts, her grief over Ledger's 2008 death is still too raw.

"I've always loved Terry Gilliam's films. And Heath was an unbelievably brilliant talent," she told Britain's Marie Claire magazine.

"I'm sure he's wonderful to watch. But yeah, it's kind of ... confronting."

Watts, 41, is now engaged to fellow actor Liev Schreiber. They have two young sons together.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt first showed up on Hollywood’s radar co-starring with John Lithgow in the television 90s series 3rd Rock From The Sun. He also earned himself a spot in the 90s teen comedy hall of fame with 10 Things I Hate About You. However, he really came into his own as an actor with 2005′s neo-noir Brick. He also gave a phenomenal performance last year in the indie hit (500) Days of Summer, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Independent Spirit Award.

Peter Sarsgaard’s first major role was in 1999′s Boys Don’t Cry. Since then he has been in a series of hits and misses, film wise. Regardless, Sarsgaard goes on my list of people who are always good despite the film’s quality. My favorite of his performances in 2005′s Jarhead. His performance was critically well received and he earned early Oscar buzz, but failed to receive a nomination.

Liev Schreiber made his first impact on Hollywood as Cotton Weary in the wildly successful Scream franchise. In 1999 in co-starred with Diane Lane and Viggo Mortensen in A Walk On The Moon and Denzel Washington in The Hurricane. My favorite performance of his is as Laertes in the 2000 version of Hamlet. Schreiber goes on my list of actors who are always wonderful whether the film they’re in is or not.

Someone hates to admit that Adam Levine ignores Austin. Or that Zachary Quinto ignores Sophia. So much for their 'friendship'.

Austin has been photographed in the past with members of Maroon5.

Link to Austin and Adam pictures please.

Meaningless, 10:13. Austin and Adam are friends. Jake and Austin share many friends. Why does that bother you?

Anonymous said...

I don't have the time or desire to find links for photos. You can find them yourself if you have the time to kill.

Anonymous said...

10:15 AM, 10:16 AM - we got it, more fiction and wishful thinking about Austin and Jake.

Anonymous said...

Meaningless, 10:13. Austin and Adam are friends. Jake and Austin share many friends.

Facts are meaningless, we should believe you because you are friends with Jake and Austin. lol

Anonymous said...

Typical. Jaustinites don't answer questions (unless "fuck you" qualifies as answer ;) ) or back up their claims.

Anonymous said...

What's wishful thinking about stating that Jake and Austin are friends and also share many of the same friends? It's right in front of your nose to see. Why so anxious to deny the friendship? Afraid that there's a lot more to it than that?

Anonymous said...

Unless "fuck you" qualifies as answer.

It does in my books, when the source deserve that for an answer. ;)

Anonymous said...

Jaustinites don't answer questions because they have no answers, just wishful thinking.

Anonymous said...

10:24 AM, yes, of course, "fuck you" is the proper Jaustinites answer to question like "What did Austin do to help others?".

Anonymous said...

What is the question?

Anonymous said...

The jaustinloons scavenge for any link they can between Jake and Austin, then they spin that to imply more than friendship. For example, the idiot at 10:23 -- "Afraid that there's a lot more to it than that?"

Anonymous said...

10:23 AM, don't even try to pull that shit. No one said Jake and Austin aren't friends, it's the grasping at straws that we've had enough of, like the Dodgers guy is Austin's close friend from TX and now that Adam and Austin are friends. You can't claim that and expect posters to believe you. Either post the pictures or accept we don't have to take your word for it.

Anonymous said...

What's wishful thinking about stating that Jake and Austin are friends and also share many of the same friends?

How would you know that?
Just because people like Katz and Sophia are their mutual friends, it doesn't mean that all Jake's friends are Austin's friends too and vice-versa.

Learn to read 10:33. I never said that all of Jake's friends are Austin's friends. I said "many". Some of you are very paranoid about something. And BTW, I don't think Jake and Austin are anything more than friends. I'm just fascinated by the desire by some to disprove any and all ties between Jake and Austin.

Anonymous said...

Poor Jaustinites are getting desperate.

Anonymous said...

10:44 AM, please stop playing dumb. We were discussing Austin and Adam Levine 'friendship'. Do you know anything about that or you're just making up ties between Jake and Austin?

I'm just fascinated by the desire by some to disprove any and all ties between Jake and Austin.

You mean imaginary ties, like the Dodgers guy?

Anonymous said...

Friendships are good, J&A fiction isn't.

will always believe that Heath and Naomi were right for each other. Pity he wasn't ready for commitment. The thing with Michelle was mostly a joke imo, except for the beginning stages of the ship maybe. Liev seems to be a solid guy, however, I think they are mostly together because of their boys."

I completely agree with you. There have been rumors that Naomi and Liev have been on the rocks for awhile now. I think Heath was the love of Naomi's life (and vice versa) but it was bad timing when they were together: She wanted a family--he didn't because he was still too young. A real shame. I do admire how honestly she has spoken about him. I was touched when she recently admitted that she still can't make sense of his death and still dreams about him.

Remember her reaction to his death? She was visibly so grief-stricken that someone posted on her imdb.com board to stop acting like the widow when she wasn't (and when she had a partner and child).

She's a class act, and she couldn't help how she felt at that time. :(

I think Heath's family knew how much Naomi meant to him. She was invited to the "closest only" memorial for Heath. That says a lot.

Jake and Austin share many friends because they are a couple.

1. What reason do we have to believe Jake and Austin are still a couple? The fact that they don't live together?
2. What reason do we have to believe Jake and Austin share any friends except Matt and Sophia?

I've seen pictures of Austin with the members of Maroon 5. I don't know if it is still the case, but Maroon 5 used to have a link to the website for Claire Oswalt--Austin's ex--. She used to have sketches up of some of Jake and Austin's friends, like Matthew Katz Frost.

Did J&A believers comment Austin's living in Venice?

There is absolutely no way J&A live together. Even the people who believe they are still a couple should realize how absurd it is to believe they don't each have their own separate homes.

Anonymous said...

That's nice, but if Austin was Adam Levine's friend I think we would hear something about it.

Anonymous said...

So Austin's ex had sketches of Matthew Katz Frost up on her website and Maroon 5 linked her website. All that proves is that Jake and Austin run in the same circle of friends.

Anonymous said...

poor jaustinloons, aren't you tired of clutching at straws yet?

Anonymous said...

Why would we hear about Austin being a friend of Adam's?

Anonymous said...

There is absolutely no way J&A live together. Even the people who believe they are still a couple should realize how absurd it is to believe they don't each have their own separate homes.

Why wouldn't they live together? According to Ted they've been in a committed relationship for over 6 years. They're both almost 30. It's absurd to expect them NOT to live together unless they're really not a couple...

Anonymous said...

Yes, Jake and Austin are friends and they have friends in common. Why is that so threatening to some people?

Anonymous said...

Why is that so threatening to some people?

Nothing, we just don't buy fiction.

Anonymous said...

Where's the fiction in the fact that Jake and Austin are friends and have friends in common?

Anonymous said...

Stop using the word "we", 11:52. You can only speak for yourself.

Anonymous said...

How many BTz are in the shoebox under J&A's bed?

Anonymous said...

Why would we hear about Austin being a friend of Adam's?

Because Adam is a celebrity who goes out and hangs out in public with his friends and acquaintances.

Anonymous said...

Where's the fiction in the fact that Jake and Austin are friends and have friends in common?

Please stay on the subject, we are discussing ADAM LEVINE and Austin.

Anonymous said...

So you claim to know every friend or acquaintance of Adam Levine just because he's a celeb? He could attend countless private parties, dinners, etc. with Austin and you wouldn't have any way of knowing about it.

Anonymous said...

Why wouldn't they live together?

Because Austin Nichols suggested so.

Anonymous said...

Where's the fiction in the fact that Jake and Austin are friends and have friends in common?

No fiction, really, but leave the rest of Ted's bs out of it.

Anonymous said...

So Austin's ex had sketches of Matthew Katz Frost up on her website and Maroon 5 linked her website. All that proves is that Jake and Austin run in the same circle of friends.

That's right, it shows that Austin is friends with the guys in Maroon 5. Someone kept insisting that we were making it up that Adam and Austin are friends.

But just keep spinning that Jake and Austin have nothing to do with each other and ignore the fact that like a lot of couples, they share friends.

Anonymous said...

Why wouldn't they live together?

Okay, even though I don't believe they are "in a committed relationship for over 6 years," (and to be honest, I don't think that that's exactly what Ted said - he's also written stuff about Toothy and other guys, so that pretty much eliminates the "committed" part. And I absolutely believe what JG Francis wrote on his blog, and that also eliminates the committed part) But, even if they were still a couple as you believe, you believe they are a deeply closeted couple, right? That's why they rarely go out in public together, and recently only with a beard, right? So if they're going to be so careful about that, it is absurd to think they actually set up housekeeping together and both come and go to the same place on a daily basis when they are in L.A. That would be way too risky and way too obvious. Of course Austin has his own home. It's called common sense.

Anonymous said...

I guess you believed that Reese and Jake were living together too.

Of course Austin is not going to say "I'm living with Jake in the HH" and you know it. Trolls and babblers are not that dumb, even if you like to play like you are.

Anonymous said...

So you claim to know every friend or acquaintance of Adam Levine just because he's a celeb?

Still playing dumb? I claim that Austin and Adam aren't friends because Adam ignored Austin's tweet message and doesn't follow him.

Anonymous said...

When Austin was promoting JFC he said he had his two friends from Texas living with him. He's getting kind of old for shacking up wiht a bunch of friends. I think it is possible he uses that as a "home" to distract from where he really lives.

Anonymous said...

ignore the fact that like a lot of couples, they share friends.

lol. you have been swallowing Ted's kool-aid for too long

Anonymous said...

Please spare me this tired old argument. Have you ever heard of gated communities? If you believe everything Jake's PR does is smoke and mirrors to protect the longtime relationship with Austin then they could easily live together if they wanted to. But they don't. How many pictures of Jake in front of his home are there? Sorry, what you posted are excuses why they don't live together not a good reason.

Anonymous said...

How many tweets does Adam get in a day? Do you really think he reads them all and answers?

Celebrity tweeting is for publicity, it isn't for keeping in touch with friends. Just another reason why Sophin's tweeting is such an obvious tool to convince people they're a couple.

Anonymous said...

Of course Austin is not going to say "I'm living with Jake in the HH" and you know it.

You are a joke.

No one forced Austin to mention that he lives in Venice. Or that he goes to some bar to watch fotball at 5:30 AM. Or that he watches basketball in some bar while Jake is at the game.

Anonymous said...

How many tweets does Adam get in a day? Do you really think he reads them all and answers?

That is the point, Austin is just one of them, a friend would call Adam and let him know about his twitter account.

Anonymous said...

Celebrity tweeting is for publicity, it isn't for keeping in touch with friends.

Tell that to people like Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto, they didn't hear you.

Anonymous said...

You want to believe they don't live together, fine. That's your opinion. But stop playing dumb. You have ZERO evidence that Jake and Austin live alone. A reference to streaking in Venice doesn't equal not living with Jake. A celebrity in the closet is not going to talk about living with their boyfriend.

You are no more under their bed then anyone else here.

Stop pretending like the closet doesn't exist. By your twisted logic Jake (and Austin) never have anyone in their homes or in their beds--be it each other, rent boys or hookups.

Obviously I didn't make myself clear enough. I don't believe Jake and Austin are a couple or that they live together. I was just explaining in my post why they SHOULD be living together after being in a relationship for so long. The fact that they don't says a lot.

What does going to a bar at 5:30 a.m. have to do with it? Lots of sports fans like to go watch games in bars because the buzz of the crowd adds to the enjoyment. You're obviously not a sports nut or you would know that.

And getting up and going to a bar doesn't make sense if you're single and can sit around in your underwear on your sofa at that hour. But it might make sense if you don't want to wake up a hubby and sleeping child.

Anonymous said...

You want to believe they don't live together, fine.

Please read comments. THERE IS NOTHING TO SUPPORT 'JAKE AND AUSTIN ARE LIVING TOGETHER' THEORY. Austin twitter account and his tweets are FACTS, and those facts suggest that Jake and Austin are just friends.

LMAO. So does traveling around with Sophia, that is another thing that fathers do instead being with their kids and husbands.

Anonymous said...

When you say "But they don't" what are you referring to?

I mean they don't live together like they should be if we are to believe Ted that they've been in a relationship for 6 years. There's no good explanation for why they don't live together other than they're not a couple.

Anonymous said...

And getting up and going to a bar doesn't make sense if you're single and can sit around in your underwear on your sofa at that hour. But it might make sense if you don't want to wake up a hubby and sleeping child.

You're not serious. You have that backwards. Bars are FULL OF SINGLE PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT SITTING AT HOME IN THEIR UNDERWEAR ON THEIR SOFAS. That's what single people do. It's the married couples that sit home with their children. And "Hubby" wasn't at home with any child, sleeping or otherwise. He was at the Laker's game in person and out to dinner with friends.

Celebs at Larry King's Disaster In The Gulf Telethon

Gathering together to raise much-needed funds to help with the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Larry King brought out his celebrity pals to the CNN Building in Los Angeles, California on Monday evening (June 21).

With Ryan Seacrest, Ke$ha, Nicole Richie and Pete Wentz among those on-hand, the Hollywood stars busily answered phones during the two-hour telethon special "Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help".

In the end, Larry and the gang raked in over $1 million to be dished out to United Way, the National Wildlife Foundation and the Nature Conservancy.

With Justin Bieber recording a special message for the event, other big names pitching in on the worthwhile cause included Cameron Diaz, Chelsea Handler, Jenny McCarthy, Giuliana Rancic, Kathy Griffin, Ryan Seacrest, Alyssa Milano and Ian Somerhalder.
