I think the wording of a question to Ted really matters too. I suspect that if what is being said is too close to outing someone, he won't run it. If that is the case, you might want to try re-wording the question rather than just sending the same one again. I also think it depends upon how timely it is, or whether it fits into a larger theme of the letters he is running that day.

Reunited: Christopher McQuarrie To Write 'Jack The Giant Killer' For Bryan Singer
Bryan Singer's "Jack The Giant Killer" has landed a redraft by an Oscar-winning writer. Heat Vision Blog broke the news today that Christopher McQuarrie, who won a well-deserved 1995 Best Screenplay Oscar for his work on Singer's "The Usual Suspects" and also scripted the director's last film -- the Hitler would-be assassination thriller "Valkyrie" -- was tapped to give the draft a new polish.
Mark Bomback ("Live Free or Die Hard", "Race To Witch Mountain') and Darren Lemke (“Gemini Man,” "Shrek Forever After") had written prior drafts and now McQuarrie is looking to step in and take a shot at it. If the film is indeed shooting in July as previously reported, it will likely mean McQuarrie is not doing a page 1 rewrite, but more of a script polish.
"Jack The Giant Killer" centers around a war between giants and humans set off by the kidnapping of a princess, and the young farmer who journeys to the giant kingdom on a rescue mission. The film is confirmed to begin shooting in London and Iceland this summer and Singer has (naturally) considered shooting the film in 3D (we've also heard that Jake Gyllenhaal may somehow be involved in the cast, file that one for later).
Aside from readying 'Jack' for likely 2011 release, Singer will also produce franchise cash-in "X-Men: First Class," alongside Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg. It's nice to see Singer moving away from familiar territory, though 'Jack' still remains a bit of an oddity for him (and for us). We'll be keeping an eye on this as official casting news begins to spring to life.

The new People magazine has a 4 pages cover story article about the Chin and her new boyfriend that is obviously planted by her PR. The article is punch after punch for Jake. The only purpose of the article is to show how her new boyfriend is everything Jake is not. It’s full of phrases like: “Jake who?”, “Jim is more mature than Jake”, “it’s the first time in a long time she feels she is with a grown up man”, “she dumped Jake because he was too needy”, “everyone is surprised about how quickly she moved on from Jake”, “Jim (unlike Jake) is down to earth and good with kids”, “Jim doesn’t seek the spotlight like Jake”, “she felt head over heels in love with Jim because he was a secure man unlike Jake”, “her relationship with Jake was never meant to be and now she is with a real man”, etc etc. The article says also how Jake is “coping with the split” by hanging out with his mother and sister and working in his new movie. This article makes me feel something is going on because it’s all about the Chin making Jake look really bad. It has not even a single word for Ryan. All the punches are directed to Jake.

Fun to watch
"Jake Gyllenhaal Challenges the Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize" is an unusual name for a title I must say. I was looking for upcoming movies of Chris Cooper (one of my favorite actors) when this enormous title appeared. I research here on IMDb and then I watched. The result was a short movie that sometimes was funny and sometimes was confusing, a little bit senseless but very interesting to watch.
Here footages of Jake Gyllenhaal's movies "Jarhead" and "Donnie Darko", the movie "Saved" (Jake's not in it) and several interviews with U.S. President Barack Obama, tells what the title says. An challenge between Jake (in Donnie and Swofford's characters) and Obama about War, and what's necessary to do to establish peace, this sort of things. For those who haven't watched these movies they're excellent, 3 must see movies of the decade.
It was fun to watch because the editing of this short was very good (except that in the first seconds you can see a little kid in the audience standing before a microphone, then the scene moves forward and we see this kid again, running downstairs moving to the microphone, bu that's OK, that doesn't count as a bad thing and it's actually funny). But I have some reservations about it's speeches, meaning, or even a political context. Is it against Obama? Is it a protest against war? I really don't know. And the other thing that bothered me was: We're supposed to believe that it is Jake or his characters in the movies mentioned that are discussing with Obama? One suggestion that could've appeared here is that a young guy protests against the president but then he joins the Army and goes to war. But this short doesn't seem to go in that way and you might feel confused.
But I must say that the director tried to do something good and he did. Who can possibly imagine that "Donnie Darko" and "Jarhead" could be mixed together in a short without being ridiculous? 8/10

LOL. Someone needs a geography lesson in PR. Austria was one of the Central European countries that actually was not that severely impacted by the volcanic ash airport closures. In fact, their airports reopened their airspace on April 19th. Italy’s northern airspace was only briefly opened then closed again. Looks like Austin was going in the wrong direction. Sorta of like this pathetic PR attempt!

I'm not the original poster re the Reeke "break-up" but I don't think that a lot of the stuff is necessarily contradictory. Jake didn't have a movie to promote for a while, so he did get publicity from all the Reeke pics, which a lot of the general public was stupid enough to buy. But that doesn't mean he wasn't miserable with the whole deal, especially near the end. He clearly was. But that also doesn't mean she didn't surprise him by leaking the break-up story before the agreed upon time. I think she's manipulative and conniving enough to do something like that and that would explain those phony denials by the reps.

I don't think Jake is necessarily gay, but Reeke was about image for both for sure. He wanted to get rid of the gay rumors and she didn't want to look bad after being dumped. For him being attached to fresh Oscar winner, American darling and for her being with a young up and coming hunk wasn't bad either. So their management (as far as I know it's the same, right?) arranged Reeke. I don't know if they were friends or more during that that time as well (for a while at least). But it went downhill fast. Many from his online fandom turned against him during Reeke and it became a farce. I think Jake wanted out and they probably arranged a date when to make the break up public, but Reese being a resentful bitch, "announced" it during Brothers promo already. X 17 reproted his assistent went to Reese's house to pick up his stuff shortly after.
I think Jake is used to getting what he wants from early on. Mom made sure through connections to get the kids to Columbia college and both parents opened doors for their kids in Hollywood. IMO Jake enjoys sex with both sexes, but seems to connect emotionally more with men. He is young, pretty and rich. He can bang almost whomever he wants to and I'm sure he does.
