It's great that wondercon sounds like a success :) Nice interaction with the fans, but, man, what's with these people telling him to his face that he is "pretty" and has a "dreamy" smile. I find that kind of stuff so smarmy and lame, but I guess that's exactly what Disney is looking for. And, frankly, I think Jake loves the adoration, lol.

Nice interaction with the fans, but, man, what's with these people telling him to his face that he is "pretty" and has a "dreamy" smile. I find that kind of stuff so smarmy and lame, but I guess that's exactly what Disney is looking for.

Jake will never, ever, ever come out of the closet. He wants to be a rich, famous, big time, A list movie star. We'll see more beards come along and eventually he'll marry one of them and have kids with her. I don't think Jake is even brave enough to be permantly single like Clooney. George gets a girl for a couple of months, then dumps her and hangs with the guys for a couple of months and then finds some other waitress for the new girlfriend. Besides, if Reese's little PR jabs at Jake are towards the nasty side now, imagine if he came out and made her look stupid. She would go after him like a rabid dog. Jake's closet door is nailed and cemented shut forever.

lol, I didn't read closely enough, those were guys that made those comments. That's pretty funny. But I see that there was no shortage of screaming women - and that made Jerry very happy. And Jake happy too :) I don't take everything Ted says as bible, but I do believe him when he says Toothy LOVES being a heartthrob and doesn't want to give that up. That is very obvious.

I agree with this. And I don't really see what she could do to him, either, especially without making herself look even worse. I don't know if Jake will ever come out, but if he doesn't, I don't think it's because Reese was a factor in the decision.
And... I think there are different ways of coming out. It wouldn't have to necessarily involve some public declaration like Ricky Martin. Who says he would ever have to say anything? Look at Matt Bomer, he just lives his life and doesn't answer questions about his personal life.

Me thinks Reese has her own secrets that Jake and the rest of HW knows about. Now, I can see the significance of that - I've known people to do that because they want to keep a ring close to their heart, or they want to keep it hidden, or they can't wear a ring for some reason. But what difference does it make if the ring Jake wore today is the same one he wore during BBMt press. Is that supposed to be the Austin ring? I honestly don't get it. I have seen the Carpe Diem pinky ring, it's not the ring at the link above, the rings at the BBM promo , the Carpe diem ring is not there.
I have seen Austin wearing a pinky ring a few months back at a concert with Sophia and it was plain with no markings and the regular ring he sometimes wears on his rt ring finger is a singnet ring.
He laso wore a pinky ring during a photo shoot that was plain.
How are they matching? Pinky tings are tacky IMO and peple usually uy them for themselves not as comittment rings.

Someone is trying to prove Jake is straight and that he and Austin are not wearing matching rings. Waste of time. They could have tons of personal items they use to remind each other of their commitment. Their jobs keep them apart for long periods, even if they were not closeted, so it's a logical thing to do. Maybe they have a different ring for every day of the week. What we do know for sure is that each has been seen wearing a ring on a chain around their neck, hidden from view except when seen by accident or when they did not expect to be photographed.
