I know it seems outlandish, doesn't it? But not when you realize that they had done this before with his mother and we did a whole post on that. So no, this does not surprise me. It flabbergasts me yes, but does it surprise me? No. I'm just surprised they used the little girls in this.

The fact that Austin was not in any of Rowdy's Instagrams, and there were a good handful of them. M&M and I saw them all - we just never saved them. The reason why the pics of Rowdy & Ashley and then their daughter Penny look so funny is that those are "Preview" pics from when M&M had emailed them to me.
So the Caring Bridge link doesn't work anymore. Rowdy Private'ed his Instagram account so you can't see anything. Most of the accounts which were commenting on his posts were all private so you couldn't see their accounts, try to get a feel for their validity. There's a reason for that. There's a reason for all of it. It was a farce.
I don't know about you, but Caring Bridge is (I thought, anyway) a site for seriously ill people. And by the comments, you would have surmised that David Nichols was seriously ill. But in a couple days, there they were in a vehicle. There was Rowdy in the car/truck with his father in law and it was the Instagram pic where he announced they were headed to the rehab facility. And then like the next day or two, the family left! They packed up and were gone.
What in the hell. And in a few more days, Austin was trying to say he was back in LA and posing with heart glasses and filling time doing Instagram stories.
Someone hand me a blowhorn please: not believable. Not believable at all.
Now it's like none of it ever happened. Instagram account teller window is slammed shut. Well, too bad. We still saw it.
And it was because Jake was spotted, bless his heart. He was probably getting lunch for the kids. Or maybe himself. LOLLLLL!! I'm beginning to think he's sneaking in little taquito bites on his own.

A: [Composer] Jeanine Tesori. We did “Little Shop of Horrors” at City Center a few years ago and it was a ridiculous amount of fun. Shaking my head how management's reaction to our post on Sunday is to just make Rowdy's Instagram public again. "That will show them!" LOL! Sorrrry. Unprivating fake pics and stories once you've been called out on your BS, is easy. Anyone who even has a casual acquaintance with PR teams' abuse of social media know that "the leak" is a standard method of pushing fake stories (i.e. PR narratives). Take a look at how Cowell and company have recently used social media to "reintroduce" Eleanor Calder to the public and fandom again. Trying to make an absurd story look organic to the causal reader is what publicists think Instagram and Twitter are for.
Of course, Jake's people can't explain why blabbermouth Rowdy (the son-in-law) is the one telling this personal Nichols family story at all. Why not Austin or even Ashley? Remember when Austin's mother was ill, it was Austin who posted pics with her and his family. By the way, Ashley was in those pics. Not Rowdy. In fact, Rowdy is nowhere to be seen.
Yet, when it comes to Rowdy's public reveal about his father-in-law's ambiguous health crisis, Austin is in none of these "family" gathered in Michigan pics to support his dad. Not one. Nope Austin is too busy eating out with his beard in LA. Throwing her dog up in the air, promoting his new TV show and generally acting like everything in his life is fine.
Most importantly, while PR is trying to distract from the situation, no one has explained why Jake Gyllenhaal was seen in his typical stomping grounds of Michigan just at the time that Austin is there. Moreoever, let's say we believe the "story" about Dave Nichols. Doesn't it look even more suspicious that Jake is up in Michigan, at the same time that a perceived Nichols family health crisis is occurring? I thought he had no relationship with Austin? And, if he has no relationship with Austin, why would he have a relationship with Austin's family? Makes no sense unless Jake is part of the family too. See how that works. Just apply a little logic and the whole "organic" explanation falls apart.
