Austin: @SophiaBush leaves ME breathless

LOL. Okay, Austin, whatever you say!

He’ll be filming at an actual mall in Queens next weekend, he says, still urinating, and the movie will star the performance artist John Kelly, who’s best known for appearing onstage, in drag, as Joni Mitchell.

What was the name of the NYC performance artist who tweeted about his his dinner with Jake in Montreal?

JGL's next movie "Hesher" with Nat Portman is a 8.0 on IMDB.

He's not Tommy Solomon anymore, that's for sure :)

Oh yeah. Wasn't he a friend of Rufus? Or am I thinking of someone else? I thought they had dinner in NY?

I remember NYC performance artist and drag, visiting Montreal, dinner with Jake in Montreal, puking stains on his shoulder (kid).

Franco said...

According to his mother, Betsy, Franco has been this way since he was born. In kindergarten, he wouldn’t just build regular little block towers—he’d build structures that used every single block in the playroom. At night, he would organize his Star Wars toys before he slept. When Franco was 4 years old, a friend of the family died. Betsy gave him the standard Mortality Talk: no longer with us, just a part of life—yes, but hopefully not for a very long time. Little James burst into tears. He was inconsolable. Eventually, he managed to choke out, between sobs, “But I don’t want to die! I have so much to do!”

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of (I remember the puke stains, lol). They were visiting Montreal then, okay. Do you remember Rufus being there?

Anonymous said...

No, I don't remember anything about Jake, Rufus and Montreal.

Franco said...

One defining characteristic of adolescence is, of course, our emergence into the world as sexual beings. In this sense, too, Franco seems to be living an extended public adolescence. Many people are obsessed—and Franco has given them ample reason to be—with the question of whether he’s gay or straight. For a Hollywood heartthrob, he’s been unusually drawn to gay or bisexual roles: Allen Ginsberg, James Dean, Harvey Milk’s long-term boyfriend Scott Smith. Even seemingly straight roles—e.g., the pot dealer in Pineapple Express—end up bursting, in Franco’s hands, with homoerotic energy.

Although Franco has been silent on this subject, he seems to enjoy stoking the controversy. His art, across the spectrum, revels in gay culture. His student film The Feast of Stephen involves an extended fantasy scene in which a group of teenage boys gang-rape another boy—who then smiles meaningfully at the camera as the screen goes dark. (An intimate screening of the film was sponsored, last summer, by Butt magazine.) The narrator of Franco’s Esquire short story asks a friend: “Don’t you ever get jealous of those girls in pornos that get to be on their knees in the middle of all those dicks?” Franco researched his role for the 2002 film Sonny by hanging out at gay strip clubs in New Orleans, and even tagged along with a stripper as he serviced a male client in a hotel room. In a guest spot on 30 Rock, he played a version of himself whose sexual obsession with a Japanese body pillow is an open public secret—a perfect allegory for his alleged homosexuality.

Franco said...

Franco, you might say, is queering celebrity: erasing the border not just between gay and straight but between actor and artist, heartthrob and intellectual, junk TV and art museum. His obvious relish for gay roles challenges the default heterosexuality of Hollywood leading men like Clooney or Pitt. He seems more interested in fluidity, in every sense, than in a fixed identity. As a commenter on the website Queerty put it: “He’s the World’s Gayest Heterosexual!” But he’s also the world’s most heterosexual gay, the world’s highest lowbrow, and the world’s most ironic earnest guy. It is also possible that he’s just engaged in the world’s most public, and confused, coming-out process.

ha! said...

Given all of this, “James Franco’s girlfriend” would seem to be a fraught position. And yet Ahna O’Reilly seems not to be bothered. “You do a movie where you’re gay,” she says, “or, in James’s case, more than one, it’s going to happen. I know that a lot of people wish he were gay, or think I’m not his real girlfriend. But there’s nothing you can do about that.”

Anonymous said...

NY Magazine, 'The James Franco Project' comment: "After reading this love letter, I'm seriously interested in what REALLY happened in the men's room."

from Gyllenhaal to Warhol said...

As Franco adds layer upon layer, wink upon wink — as he slides further along the continuum from Gyllenhaal to Warhol — his entire career is beginning to look less like an actual career than like some kind of gonzo performance piece: a high-concept parody of cultural ambition.

Franco said...

Franco’s publicist has recently informed me that—after all these months of e-mailing (he always responds immediately, and likes to sign off with “Peace”) and brief conversations—Franco and I are no longer allowed to talk. He’s signed an exclusivity agreement with another magazine. Under no circumstances am I to speak to him, I’m told, not even to say hello.
...
One of the other visitors walks out, and suddenly there are only two of us, here in the house that contains an image of its own destruction, and the other person is James Franco.
...
A few seconds pass.

“Hi, Sam,” James Franco says.

I feel the same low-grade thrill of intimacy I felt at our first meeting in the NYU bathroom—this time spiced with a new kind of danger.

“I think we’re not supposed to be talking,” I say.

“Why, what happened?” he says. “Did somebody call you? Did you get a talking to?”

I tell him that his inner circle has done everything short of surrounding him with barbed wire.

“You know that’s not coming from me, right?” he says.

I don’t know if this is true, here in the room that’s consuming itself, or if James Franco is just trying to paralyze me with his charm. But my heart melts a little anyway. I have the feeling I had once when I ran into Bill Clinton, randomly, and he shook my hand in a way that made me want to devote the rest of my life to hugging him.

Franco slaps me on the shoulder. “Don’t be scared,” he says. And he walks back out into the thickening crowd.

Sorry, don't know much about Ledger, never met him. As I said, I know the stars of the 50s through the 80s the best. By the 90s, I was losing interest in it all.

Will say that what other people told me about Ledger usually centered on his severe lack of self-confidence. Was difficult to work with because he was so unsure of himself. Was considered one of those guys who was constantly miscast--he never wanted to be the pretty boy, he always wanted the be the Serious Actor. Also, as far as I know, he was straight.

Michelle Williams, however... a very difficult woman.

Dear Grand Viceroy:
Way to put me on the spot there, champ. Your first two questions garner one answer: the closets! Whether it's Crescent Kumquat, Jackie Bouffant, Nevis Divine or even age-old Toothy Tile, it's always the closet cases that shock. But gosh, I wish they would realize their careers wouldn't be devastated, only different—and maybe for the better. It's a new age. Fake à la Ferocity would, without a doubt, suffer the most career damage if her personal activities were known, and if Morgan Mayhem‘s identity were revealed, I think people might actually yawn.

There were a few pre screenings, that means the movie is probably ready. Who wouldn't want festival promotion?

Anonymous said...

Yes, it was.

Anonymous said...

"Brothers" didn't play at any festival. It got mixed reviews and was overlooked during award season, except for that GG nod for Maguire. I predict LAOD won't fare much better.

Anonymous said...

If a movie isn't chosen for any festivals, does it automatically mean it's not good enough?

Idk. Seems though that a lot of movies are in festivals so they can be seen by potential buyers/distributors. Maybe LAOD already has its financial ducks in a row?

Anonymous said...

There were a few pre screenings, that means the movie is probably ready. Who wouldn't want festival promotion?

People who think that marketing $$$ can be better spent.

Anonymous said...

Blue Valentine already has a distributer "Weinstein Company". It already played at the Sundance and Cannes film festivals, received great reviews. It's not necessary anymore for it to play in Toronto. It still does. Even though LAOD already has a distributer, some exposure at festivals sure ain't a bad thing, yet it isn't featured in any festivals.

Anonymous said...

Movies don't need festivals to be good or great.

Anonymous said...

Movies don't need festivals to be good or great.

Hopefully that's the case with LAOD.

Anonymous said...

I've seen a couple of short scenes of Blue Valentine on the net. They are awfull, typical pretentious indie stuff. Michelle does a good job as always and Ryan is just ok, but the cinematograpphy and the dialogs... horrible.
Another proof that the critics,in general, don't know shit of what they're talking about.

Anonymous said...

Michelle does a good job as always and Ryan is just ok,

She's an overrated actress. Her and Gosling are annoying. Gosling was seen at a party kissing Weinstein's ass and there was a video with MW and Weinstein where she did the same. They sure want their second Oscar nod. Ambitious litte shits.

Anonymous said...

Inception is a sure contender for a best picture nomination. There is also buzz for Annete Bening for The Kids Are All Right.

Anonymous said...

There is nothing wrong on wanting fame, money and status in HW. This is their profesion after all.But neither of them is special or bringing anything new in the art department.

Anonymous said...

The bulk of Oscar contenders is yet to come. Early predictions mean squat.

But neither of them is special or bringing anything new in the art department.

I agree. I find both of them dull, unexciting actors.

Anonymous said...

She's an overrated actress.

You must be joking.

Anonymous said...

I'd bet all my cash that LAOD isn't as good as some early reviewers said it was. For some weeks now I've been thinking that the early revs were probably plants to talk the movie up.

Anonymous said...

Gosling was seen at a party kissing Weinstein's ass and there was a video with MW and Weinstein where she did the same.

What did Gosling and Michelle talk about with Weinstein?

Anonymous said...

MW is a good actress but with a very limitated range.

Her "essence" is the same in all her films.

But what she does, even if it's always the same, she does it good and sometimes is all it takes to make public like it.
Besides, she is incredible beautiful and classy, the only thing I don't like about her face is the strange nose job she had during Dawson Creek. And I wish she stop cutting her hair... ;)
but everything alse, i think she is ok.

Anonymous said...

What did Gosling and Michelle talk about with Weinstein?

I remember there was a report of Jake being at an industry party where Gosling chatted with Weinstein the whole time. In the video MW was at a party with Weinstein who introduced her to several people.

I believe in a recent interview Jake was asked which actor he'd most like to work with and he named Ryan Gosling. As with any actor there are going to be different opinions, but RG is very highly regarded as one of the best young actors out there right now, along with JGL.

Lance Bass Jumping Into Bed With Lorenzo Martone, Guaranteeing Blacklisting at Louis Vuitton said...

Marc Jacobs' now-confirmed ex Lorenzo Martone is romancing former *Nsync-er Lance Bass, say the gossips. Now it's just a matter of time before someone claims Lance came between them.

"A source close to the couple tells us Martone and Bass met shortly after Lorenzo started seeing Jacobs in 2008, but the two men’s relationship has only heated up in the weeks since Jacobs and Martone" split," reports Gatecrasher. "Based on Martone’s tweet, he and Jacobs had already called it quits when they attended a June 3 AmFAR benefit together and held hands while watching Cyndi Lauper perform. The two men then headed to the AmFAR afterparty at The Park restaurant in Chelsea, where, interestingly, they hung out for a while with Bass and pop star Ricky Martin."

And since then the pair have been skipping around New York taking their romance to the streets, but a "friend of Bass" says the relationship is doomed: Lance likes younger, prettier dudes.

Meanwhile, neither Lance nor Lorenzo have taken to Twitter to confirm or deny the story, so you know it's true.

I can't think of one. Maybe everything that can be done on film has already been done and there's nothing original left, I sure hope not.

Living legends are widely popular actors, off screen as well as on screen that influenced the showbiz. They don't have to be brilliant, very good is good enough. DiCaprio, Jolie, Depp are living legends.

Screen giants are actors that changed the cinema via some of their iconic, brilliant performances. Brando, DeNiro, Olivier, etc. Virtuosi of acting.

What iconic performances has DiCaprio given? If he dies he will be know for being in Titanic, a great body of work, and his public persona but not for one mindblowing performance.

Deniro will be forever remembered for Jake La Motta, Travis Bickle.

That's my take on it, at least.

Annette has never won an Oscar. This could be her year. She is one of the favorites for her role in "The Kids are Alright". American Beauty won an Oscar for Best Picture and the biggest closet queen of all-time Kevin Spacey won an Oscar for Best Actor in the movie.

There was a journalist back at the end of 2006/beginning of 2007 that predicted that Jake and Reese Witherspoon will fall off the A List. I see nothing wrong with talking about other subjects while Jake is practically in hiding and there is nothing new.

IMO there is no fun in blindly speculating about what Jake is up to or how LAOD will do when we have no new information.

IMO talking about other gay actors or actors like Franco, Leo, Bomer, JDL are relevant to our discussion about Jake, a closeted actor trying to build a career in HW.

I don't understand how LAOD can have so much "buzz" when there isn't even a trailer out there to support that statement.

Joining the cast (and replacing Idina Menzel as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline) is Cheyenne Jackson, the Broadway-cum-television star who's taking on a multi-ep gig. Because if ever this show needed somebody who can sing, dance, and act, well.

It's a nice career trajectory after finding out his ABC pilot It Takes A Village wasn't being picked up, yes?

Has Jacquie or Destiny banned them or something

3:07AM, I think this is a good example of how misunderstandings come about. Nothing was said about banning anything. If you re-read Destiny's post you'll see she said she wasn't interested in discussing Michelle or Matilda so she simply scrolls by those discussions. That's a good idea and it would help if everyone scrolled by topics they don't like or don't have interest in instead of complaining about them.

Hollywood actress ANNE HATHAWAY is winning over locals while filming a new movie in London - by embracing the hard-partying pub scene.
Hathaway is currently in the British capital working on an adaptation of David Nicholls' novel, One Day, and has spent her time off relaxing in the Prince Arthur pub in Hackney, East London.

Anne is filming, maybe that's one of the reasons LAOD skipped summer festivals?

Always the beacon of rationality, The View's shining star Elisabeth Hasselbeck this morning offered sociology's secret explanation for why middle-aged women are going gay: Old guys are going for younger gals, leaving women in the 40s and 50s and 60s to do nothing but start finger banging chicks.

Howard Bragman: 'You'll be happier if you're out than if you're a closeted action star' said...

Celebrity 'Coming Out' Show on VH1

Over the past two decades, public-relations exec Howard Bragman has helped close to a dozen celebrity clients (from Meredith Baxter to Dick Sargent to Amanda Bearse) come out of the closet, and you can expect that number to climb when his one-time reality special, Coming Out, premieres on A&E during the fourth quarter of 2010. The program, which was greenlit last week, will focus on famous people going public with their homosexuality, and Bragman says he views it as “an opportunity to change the world a little.” We caught up with Bragman to ask him about his dream cast, fear of spoilers, and the criticism that his show is simply unnecessary.

What would you say to folks who respond to the concept of Coming Out by saying “What’s the point of this show? We don’t need to know about these people’s personal lives!”?
Oh come on, we love knowing about people’s personal lives! Look at your sister publication, People magazine! I mean, we want to know every detail, every nuance. Heterosexuals don’t seem to be ashamed about selling wedding pictures and baby pictures, and we have to start telling our stories, too. And you know what? If you don’t want to know about it, we have this wonderful thing called the remote control: Use it!

Are you envisioning this as a live show, where people pop out from behind a curtain and say “Hey, I’m gay!”? Or will it be more of a behind-the-scenes look as they go through the planning and process of coming out?
The latter. It’s going to be very documentary-esque. We’re going to be telling people’s stories, and you have to do that with a certain amount of sensitivity. You know as well as I do, none of us gets out unscathed from coming out and growing up gay. I don’t care if you’re the best looking kid in the world and go to the most liberal school and have the best parents: It still screws your head up to some extent, and we all get a little damaged as a result of it. And hence we get stronger and more creative, and lots of good comes out of it, but it’s not easy.

What’s the typical time frame for your clients, from the time they hire you till the time they actually make the announcement?
Every case is different. Chely Wright, I met with a year ahead of time. Meredith Baxter, thanks to the tabloids, we had about five days. I think of myself as a midwife: Every person who comes out is a unique and beautiful creature, who does it for whatever reason they want, and God bless ‘em. I have to say there are “wows” and “duhs.” Meredith Baxter probably qualifies as a “wow.” Clay Aiken might’ve been more of a “duh.” But they’re all important, and they’re all courageous. Because realistically, the cumulative number [of major celebs who've come out] ain’t that big. We’re talking a couple dozen people, not hundreds. It’ll be interesting when the show’s not needed, and everybody’s out, but we’re certainly not at that day. (continued)

Prince Jake said...

You'll be happier if you're out than if you're a closeted action star

I don't think so!

Howard Bragman Part 2 said...

That said, we’re at a time when Adam Lambert is openly gay and in the midst of a very successful summer tour, and Neil Patrick Harris is out and up for an Emmy playing a straight man. How big a consideration for your clients is the fear of losing work or income if they do go public with their homosexuality?
Everybody worries. Music it seems to be less of an issue, though in Chely Wright’s case, she had legitimate fears about coming out in country music. In acting, it’s an issue. But it’s all a balancing act. These kids come to me, they’re 25 and want to be the next great action star, and they’re gay, and they’re scared to death. Well, my advice is, play the odds. Odds are you’ll have a happier life if you’re out than if you’re a closeted action star. But it’s a shockingly personal decision. I will tell you, though, as I talk to people and cast this show, there’s a big difference between having my phone ring and having someone say “I’m coming out, can you help me?” and me calling someone and saying “Have you every thought of…” [Laughs.]

Have you made those calls, seriously?
I’ve done it where I have an inkling. But people have reached out to me, too, after hearing about the show.

I know this is a tricky subject, but as soon as you hear about this show, it’s hard to stop your mind from wondering, “Will A, B, C, and D be involved?” Do you have a wish list already?
I’ll tell you a couple of things. First, it doesn’t have to be the biggest star in the world to make it interesting. I don’t think Chley was the biggest star in the world. I don’t think John Amaeci, the NBA player, was a huge star, but that got tremendous publicity. It’s really about the story. And there is hope: Adam Lambert gives me tremendous hope. Cheyenne Jackson is amazing and courageous, and nobody sees him on 30 Rock and says “Oh, I’m not buying him as a love interest!” I don’t care if you’re boy, girl, or sheep, he’s sexy!

It seems like it’ll be hard to keep it a secret about which stars are going to wind up on your show. Do you worry about spoilers?
I don’t think it matters. Most of the time, these things come out ahead of time — I hope they don’t, but most of the time they do — and it just builds interest. It’s the world we live in: Blogs buzz about it for days beforehand, but people will still watch.

So if we see you walking down the street with a celebrity, and cameras are rolling all around you…
It’ll probably be shot a little more discreetly than that! I don’t think we’ll be standing at the podium at the GLAAD awards saying “Shhhh! Don’t tell anybody!” [Laughs.] It’s really an honor, though, to do something like this. There’s no greater political act than the simple act of coming out. And there’s no harder or more courageous act. And to document this really life-changing moment for people, it’s beyond what I could have imagined.

Howard Bragman Part 3 said...

Have you thought about spinning this concept out to regular everyday people, not just famous folks?
I don’t want to look beyond what’s ahead. I want to do the first one, do it really well, take a breath and see what works and what didn’t.

The initial reports said this was conceived as a one-time special, but is there any chance it could become a series, or turn out to be something more than a one-night telecast?
I’ve been asked not to discuss that at this point.

Fair enough. Crazy question, but do you ever have the worry, unlikely as it may be, that someone might say they’re gay for the sole purpose of landing on your show — in other words, having someone play gay just to get on TV or revive their career?
That would be a great scandal! I’d love that, are you kidding? Robert Redford would end up making a movie about it. You’re talking to a publicist here, okay? That would be beyond my wildest dreams if some young, hot stud pretends he’s gay to get on the show! I hope that happens. And I hope he’s a stud and he hits on the host of the show. [Laughs.]

Seriously, though, why do this show, and why now?
I want people to understand that standing up and saying “Yes, I’m gay” is a huge deal. Right after Chely Wright taped Oprah, five days after she came out, she found out that at the little high school she went to in Kansas, three kids went to the guidance counselor and said, “We’re gay. In honor of Chely, we’re coming out. We’re dealing with it.” And the high school promised them a safe place to learn. That was huge for Chely. That made it all worth while. We have to understand what the suicide rates are for gay teens, and the damage that some of the hatred in the world does to people. We’re in a country that’s very divided on this issue, but it’s not okay to be homophobic; it’s that simple. If we change a few minds, then the show has been successful, no matter what the ratings are. You used the term “post-gay world” when you blogged about the show last week, and some people disagreed with you. But my theory is the revolution is over; we’re now in the evolution. Evolutions take longer and produce fewer results than revolutions, but we’re getting changes incrementally.

Re Steve McQueen: he may have been the sexiest man I ever met. He was Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, and Daniel Craig rolled up into one man. I don't think that always came across that way on the screen, but in person he melted men and women. And he knew it all too well. I was once in a meeting with him and the classic gay tragedy struck. Even though I was only a junior member of the meeting, SM kept looking at me, and his beautiful blue eyes bored deep inside my gay skull until I got a raging erection, something that's only happened a few times in my career. Then again, I was only 27, when wood springs eternal. Toward the end of the meeting he looked over at me and said, "Hey, how tall are you -- you're about my height, right?" I just nodded. "Stand up," he said. "You could be my double." He knew full well I couldn't stand up. No one else knew what was going on. "Come on," he said. I had no choice. I had to stand up, and anyone who cared to look could see how excited I was; my pathetic seersucker suit was at full attention. He then laughed and said, "See you around." I sat back down, and thought I was going to be fired. Luckily, I think the others in the room were so mesmerized by SM that they didn't bother to look at me. No one ever said a word.

'Inception' Star Tom Hardy: 'Of Course' I've Had Sex with Men said...

Inception star Tom Hardy tells the Daily Mail that he's had sexual relations with men:

"The 32-year-old Inception star, who is engaged to British actress Charlotte Riley, 28, and also has a two-year-old son with a former girlfriend. But asked if he'd ever had any sexual relations with other men, the broody actor said: 'As a boy? Of course I have. I'm an actor for ****'s sake. 'I've played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I'm in my thirties, it doesn't do it for me. I'm done experimenting but there's plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine.'"

The paper adds: "In an interview with Now magazine, the former party-boy who has battled drink, drugs and crime to turn his life around, added: 'A lot of people say I seem masculine, but I don't feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine. I'd love to be one of the boys but I always felt a bit on the outside. Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I'm not one of the boys.'"

Towleroad comment:

First of all of course Tom you have had sexual relations with another man because I am one of them. It was 2007 in South Wales, we ran into one another several times over the course of my stay there. We ended up finally saying "hello" near Holland Park and with no more than that we were chatting like old friends. I did take note of your smile and told you so but you were a bit shy so I left it alone. Soon we worked our way to the outskirts of Chelsea; I needed to check in with a friend and you "awkwardly" agreed to wait for me. the rest of the evening was full of laughs and slight touches on the leg and shoulder. Grabbing a black box around 1AM, I said I was done for the evening. With great ease you leaned forward and kissed me full on the lips; while shocked i accepted and we retired at my place in Knightsbridge. Tom you are a prince full of manners and desires. I do think about you!

We have no way of knowing if it's true, of course, but that Towelroad comment says he had sex with a man in South Wales in 2007. That was three years ago when he was 29. Hardly a boy and past the teen-age "experimenting" stage.

Hmmm, well, technically speaking maybe he isn't or doesn't identify as bisexual, and who knows that he means by "boy". Even so, it's still something that we've all been lead to believe will scare away the fanboys.

I wonder how he's defining boy:

1. a male child, from birth to full growth, esp. one less than 18 years of age.

2. a young man who lacks maturity, judgment, etc.

3. Informal. a grown man, esp. when referred to familiarly: He liked to play poker with the boys.

According to an astute poster on IMDB, this Daily Mail interview was lifted from a Now Magazine (UK) interview, neither of which ever happened. The exact quotes, given to Attitude (UK), in an interview from December 2008, go a little like this:

Have you ever had any sexual relations with men?

As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for *beep*’s sake. I’m an artist. I’ve played with everything and everyone. But I’m not into men sexually. I love the form and the physicality but the gay sex bit does nothing for me. In the same way as a wet vagina would turn someone else into a lemon-sucking freak. To me it just doesn’t compute now I’m into my 30s and it doesn’t do it for me and I’m done experimenting.

Have you done it all?

Not all but I can imagine. We’ve all got an *beep* and I can imagine. It just doesn’t do it for me, sex with another man. But there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I don’t think I’m metrosexual but I’m definitely my mother’s son. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine.

You seem very masculine.

A lot of people say that but I don’t feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine. I went to an insight course at the parachute regiment. I thought, “I want to join up, do three years, go to Iraq, do my bit, get physically fit.” So I went to White City barracks and I realized I had a real phobia about groups of men. I’m frightened of them, I feel much more comfortable around women. I’d love to be one of the boys but I always felt a bit on the outside. Maybe my masculine qualities come from over-compensating that I’m not one of the boys. Anyway, it was *beep* horrible man. I signed up for three years and after forty minutes I had to talk my way out of it. They don’t need people like me, they need someone who’s prepared to go over and kill people.

See what they did there? They left out very important bits. Like the fact that he's not into men sexually and that the gay sex does nothing for him.
