Aren't they though? I've developed a little crush on Tim DeKay, too :)
I think he's very handsome and appealing in his own right. They have such great chemistry together. Dekay is about the same age as Simon Halls, and I think maybe I've made him a surrogate for Simon too, lol.
I was wondering, for those of you who don't think Jake and Austin are together anymore (or ever were), who do you think is Gray Goose? Ted says TT and GG are still together so who else could be GG? I'm not criticizing or agreeing or disagreeing; I'm just wondering what other candidates for GG you have. IIRC Chris Fisher and Peter Sarsgaard (who would be my choices) have been eliminated (or have they?) by GG being an actor and on TV.
Ted says TT and GG are still together so who else could be GG?
Why are you playing stupid? Who ever said anything about Austin not being GG? Why are you pretending that 1.000 "I think Jake and Austin aren't a couple anymore" comments never happened?
I was wondering, for those of you who don't think Jake and Austin are together anymore (or ever were), who do you think is Gray Goose? Gray Goose is Austin, for years no one suggested otherwise on WFT2.
Ted says TT and GG are still together so who else could be GG? Ted isn't God, he is wrong about TT and GG, they obviously aren't together anymore.
@12:31 - You're likely talking to ESL speakers who can't differentiate meanness and anger when translating languages in their heads. They can't see how that comes across on the page.
What is the big deal with suggesting Jake was back in LA because of business? That's likely and rational explanation.
Sure, he could be back for business or he could just be back home for a few days or longer. But it really wasn't "suggested" that he was back home for business - it was stated as if it were fact with no other explanation possible. It doesn't really matter in either case.

Ah, I see where the confusion is coming from now. I think you're conflating two separate issues. First issue: Who is Grey Goose? Obviously Austin is Grey Goose. I don't question that at all and I actually haven't seen anyone on WFT seriously question that. But now we come to the second issue: Are Toothy and Grey Goose still a "couple." There isn't a consensus on this the way there is on GG's identity. You've probably noticed by now that many of us don't just accept what Ted says without question. He might not be as "in the know" as you believe or he may have a very fluid definition of what a "couple" is. There are many reasons to believe Jake and Austin are gay without relying on Ted, but there's not much to support the idea that they are a family unit without simply taking Ted's word for it - which many people aren't willing to do without question. I hope that clears up the confusion for you :)
3) Hector Hammond will be a freak indeed. Peter Sarsgaard says his version of the mega-cephalic supervillain will have a Size 60 hat size, and he also says Hector Hammond is "the kid that licked the battery."
Yet, if it’s really that simple, how come I’m so intrigued by today’s news that A&E has greenlit Coming Out, a one-time reality special from Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman that will focus on famous folks living up to the show’s title and, yep, coming out of the closet?
"Nick Clegg slapped down maverick Tory David Davis yesterday for mocking his "Brokeback" partnership with David Cameron.
Mr Davis sparked uproar after he was overheard saying Tory deputy chairman Lord Ashcroft had scorned the two leaders' relationship as the "Brokeback coalition" - a reference to the hit movie about two gay cowboys, Brokeback Mountain.
Asked whether he saw himself as the cowboy played by Jake Gyllenhaal or Heath Ledger, the deputy PM said: "I saw the film a long time ago and can't even remember which was which."
There ya go, Brookies. People can't even tell those two apart.
You are right and I think that was done on purpose.
JEEZUS FUCKING CHRIST. I ask about GG, if the non-Jaustin believers think it's someone other than Austin, and what, I'm a troll, I'm against Austin, I'm confusing people on purpose?? I get that remark from the paranoid 9:23?? I am thisclose to leaving WFT. Some of you are a piece of work.
I post here since the beginning and we have mentioned and discussed J&A / TT&GG 1.000.000 times. We said GG is Austin 1.000.000 times. Jake and Austin not spending time together made some of us believe that their relationship is over. They were a couple, but no any more. So if we believe that Jake and Austin are history, that does NOT mean we are suggesting that they are straight or that they weren't a couple.
Physically, Renner and Ruffalo are very well matched. Not pretty (thanks god, I hate pretty men) but sexxyyy. Both are fantastic actors, which seals the deal.
If As Meat Loves Salt ever gets filmed, they'd make a smokin hot screen couple. *prays*
(When I read it, for a nanosecond I thought Jake might play Jacob - Oscar bait, much - but going by the kind of middleoftheroad scripts he chooses, he'd never ever do it.)
Set in the 17th century, during the English civil war, As Meat Loves Salt follows the misadventures of Jacob, born a gentleman but raised a servant, whose overdeveloped sense of personal dignity leads him from one crisis to another. When the book opens, he is already a murderer. Within a hundred pages he becomes a rapist and a thief. All this is perfect training for a military career, and Jacob soon finds himself in Cromwell's New Model army and in thrall to a charismatic man named Ferris. "It was all pre-ordained," says Jacob later, when the men have deserted together, "there had never been a place where I could have leapt free of the net."
"I hoped that the relationship between Christopher Ferris and Jacob Cullen would grow since it was absolutely full of creative energy and sexual electricity. I think both men loved each other but Christopher was obsessed with his vision of social justice whereas Jacob was obsessed with Christopher. This might have worked if Jacob had not been a violent paranoid schizophrenic with frightful devilish voices sounding in his scull. "
"This novel unsettles because life is unsettling. Love, desire, vulnerability and obsession fold in and out of each other, with violence limning the contours. McCann's novel somehow manages to capture this great big mess in all of its sadness and glory. Reading this novel made me feel my own life anew. I can think of no better praise."
9:09, no I wasn't confusing two different issues. Again, if the non-Jaustin believers think Jake is with someone else, and Ted says GG and TT are definitely together, then it's only logical that non-Jaustin believers might be having second thoughts on GG's identity. As for Ted not knowing or having a different definition of together in regards to TT and GG, IMO yes it's possible. However I get the feeling that many non-Jaustinites believe Ted is intentionally lying about GG and TT still being a couple. Is there a reason for this, has he lied about them before? If he has a reputation for lying then yes I can see why a non-Jaustinite could have faith in one thing (GG is Austin) but doubt another (GG and TT are together). However, at least for me, it's difficult to reconcile that Ted would be telling the truth and lying within the same story.
Hope I explained it clearly. I haven't had my coffee yet.

Doesn't work like that in my case. I love Ted and his gossip, but my opinion is always more important. Austin and Jake don't act like two people in a longtime relationship, and nothing Ted says can undo that fact.
Ted is an internet gossip columnis, people should take what he says with a grain of salt. I don't doubt he saw Jake and Austin flirting etc. at the restaurant. But whatever they had going on, in my opinion, it's over and out. BT was wrong information fed to Ted and he's probably scared to back off, because from his BI's it seemed a sure thing. Suddenly backing off would make him look very uncredible.
9:09, no I wasn't confusing two different issues. Again, if the non-Jaustin believers think Jake is with someone else...
Hi 12:28PM :)
Whoa, whoa! I have to interrupt you right there, lol. Again, here is a source of confusion. You're making an assumption here that's not based on anything that I've seen anyone here say. I don't recall anyone on this board saying that they believe Jake is in a long-term relationship with someone else. Where are you getting that from? Now, we've heard gossip (some of it from Ted actually) that Toothy has hooked up with other guys (and a women in the cocaine blind vice), and I absolutely believe what JG Francis posted on his blog about Jake trying to hook up with him - but as for anyone here believing that Jake is in an actual relationship with someone other than Austin, I haven't seen evidence of that at all.
However, at least for me, it's difficult to reconcile that Ted would be telling the truth and lying within the same story
I don't think it's that cut and dry. First of all, many people believe Jake is gay and Austin is gay but not based solely on what Ted says so it's not a matter of having faith in one thing he says and not another. Do you understand that? And it may not be a matter of lying. Ted could have received wrong information, he could be exaggerating, he could be stringing the story along that they are together because he thinks it keeps readers interested, I don't know. But I can turn that around and ask you - if you believe TT and GG are a committed couple based on what Ted writes, then what about what Ted said about Toothy in London with the rentboy? And Toothy and the women with the cocaine? Does that sound like a committed relationship to you? Or do you doubt what Ted says about those things?
I guess the bottom line is that, for some of us, Jake being gay isn't based soley on what Ted says and it isn't based on him being in a relationship with Austin or having a family. They are not necessarily tied together. As I said, separate issues.
I think it's very wrong to accuse Jake of being a neglective father to one or two kids, when there is no proof whatsover he has kids. It's understandable not agreeing with him living a closeted life, but adding things, that are very unbelievable, to make him look even worse is not fair at all.
Like wishing Jake's movies to fail, because he is hiding his relationship with Austin and their toddler/s is wrong. There is no proof whatsover that's the case.
We were taling about intensity and passion as an actor. I noticed that Jake seemed more intense and passionate in some of his early roles. Zodiac was a hit with critics, but Jake's character was borderline boring. Jake's characer in Rendition was extremely boring. Jake lacks charisma and passion in his latest roles. I know PoP wasn't very well recieved, but Jake did a very solid job in that and even nailed the accent. He isn't getting enough credit for that. I'm curious how he'll do in LAOD and SC.
When I read it, for a nanosecond I thought Jake might play Jacob - Oscar bait, much - but going by the kind of middleoftheroad scripts he chooses, he'd never ever do it.
Nailed and LAOD don't sound like middleoftheroad scripts.

Would Jake play gay again if the script and director were great?
It's a cute outfit. I know Naomi Watts as an actress since The Ring, back in the day I thought she was on of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Still think she's beautiful. And she seems easy going and nice as well.
I find it interesting how Jake said to Ted and Lisa that he and Heath became friends on BBM, but Heath said in an interview that it was easier for them to play lovers because they have been friends for a while before the film.

LOL, they should have gotten their story straight.
Heath said in an interview that it was easier for them to play lovers because they have been friends for a while before the film.
Whether Heath's telling the truth about the friendship with Jake or not, I think it's an interesting comment. For me it would be a lot easier to fake make out (the equivalent of filming love scenes?) with an acquaintance than with a friend. Friends are like family, I don't want them and sex near each other.
1. "Inception" ($43.5 million) 2. "Salt" ($36.5 million) 3. "Despicable Me" ($24.1 million) 4. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" ($9.7 million) 5. "Toy Story 3" ($9 million)
Not a dream, not make believe — the success of "Inception" is very real. Christopher Nolan's surrealist action thriller once again topped the box office charts for its second weekend in a row, stealing thunder from newly arrived rival action film "Salt."
Nolan's latest scored big with a $43.5 million haul over the weekend, bringing the film's domestic total up to $143.6 million. Worldwide, "Inception" has amassed a $160.2 million total, pushing the Leonardo DiCaprio-starring movie just past its production budget. Surrounded by plenty of buzz, it's clear that "Inception" has a lot of staying power — something that's not likely to be challenged anytime soon.
As "Inception" won its second straight gold medal, Angelina Jolie's "Salt" had to settle for silver. The spy thriller's weekend premiere saw an intake of $36.5 million, not a bad result by any stretch of the imagination, but not quite enough to make a meaningful dent in its $110 million production budget.
The weekend's other new wide release was "Ramona and Beezus," Fox's family film that only managed a sixth place finish worth $8 million. Family audiences were apparently more interested in "Despicable Me," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Toy Story 3," the weekend's third, fourth and fifth place performers.
7:28 am You're likely talking to ESL speakers who can't differentiate meanness and anger when translating languages in their heads. They can't see how that comes across on the page.
Some findings on how language can affect thinking.
Russian speakers, who have more words for light and dark blues, are better able to visually discriminate shades of blue.
Some indigenous tribes say north, south, east and west, rather than left and right, and as a consequence have great spatial orientation.
The Piraha, whose language eschews number words in favor of terms like few and many, are not able to keep track of exact quantities.
In one study, Spanish and Japanese speakers couldn't remember the agents of accidental events as adeptly as English speakers could. Why? In Spanish and Japanese, the agent of causality is dropped: "The vase broke itself," rather than "John broke the vase."
Nailed and LAOD don't sound like middleoftheroad scripts.
I guess LAOD is slightly risky because high-concept comedy/dramas have not done so well at the box office lately. ;) But otherwise, it's not breaking new creative ground or taking any big risks. The fact they are already selling it on the basis of Jake wearing a cock sock in sex scenes tells you it doesn't have much that's groundbreaking to offer.
LAOD is based on Jamie Reidy's memoir HARD SELL, which I've actually read. I thought it was entertaining in parts (if you like sophomoric humor, which I do), but the story was poorly edited and structured and more than a few of the jokes were duds. Let's hope the script fixed those problems.
Nailed sounds only slightly edgier but still, it's fratboy stuff and basic Hollywood product. Doesn't matter anyway because it never had great buzz and it's effectively dead in the water.
Ted almost always uses coy words and double meanings. But when asked if there is a baby tile he said yes there is, a human baby. When asked last week if Toothy and Goose are still together, he said yes again. No ambiguity. In as plain English as you can get. He wanted no doubts about either statement. If they ever break up, I'm sure he will be the first to tell us.

So... He's an "internet" Gossip columist and one who hides behind Blind Items. IMO, the lowest of any gossip columnist and practices. You can choose to drink the Kool-aid, that's ok, but don't get mad if others would rather drink water and questions his crediblity from what we see then make our own conclusions.
If they ever break up, I'm sure he will be the first to tell us.
That's good. Your trust in someone you don't personally know who also does this as an "Entertainment Purposes" anknowledgement says a lot about you.
Until I see Jake or Austin with a strange baby twice or more times, I sticking with someone fishing out the source of gossip to Ted from J and A camp with a bogus surrogate baby bullshit and fed it to Ted. Ted lapped it up and put out a bogus Newflash and has egg on his face. Kind of like rushing to judgement without doing his homework. Too proud to admit it was bullshit, as Jonathan did.
Ted might be able to sell you a bridge from San Francisco to Tokyo. I hear he's selling it for a good price.
chrixtina: had a dream jake gyllenhaal was chasing me at the mall w perfume becuz i blew his cover while he was trying to be incognito.. about 5 hours ago
Until I see Jake or Austin with a strange baby twice or more times...
:) I was willing to believe in BT without seeing Jake or Austin with a baby, but boys didn't do anything that would suggest that they are parents. Just the opposite.
Au coeur des familles agricoles is a small non-profit that includes a club for gay farmers. Says one: "'We share personal stories, but mostly we discuss farming and agriculture,' Lampron said about the club, which will be represented in Montreal's gay pride parade next month for the first time by a few members who will be riding a tractor. 'It's great because we face similar challenges as both farmers and gay people living in rural regions -and we don't need to explain ourselves.'"
but boys didn't do anything that would suggest that they are parents
The bigger question is, why would anyone want Jake to parent a child with a tool like Austin? His assy tweets show that he's a few bricks short of a full load.
Sure, "Sex and the City 2" is an escapist romp not meant to be taken seriously. It's filled with pretty landscapes, extravagant fashion and lighthearted problems. But it's also poised to make massive bank on a holiday weekend (estimates have it overtaking its previous blockbuster box office). It's depressing to see such an antiquated vision of gay culture and relationships get such massive play. I know, I know -- a large number of the viewers will likely be gay men. For them, I offer a humble suggestion: If you're looking for a gay old time on Memorial Day weekend, Jake Gyllenhaal will be just a few theaters over, flexing his muscles in "Prince of Persia."
Dear Ted: Thank you for always calling out the games that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom (Kerbloom) are trying to play on the public with this farce they have going on. What do you think of the announcement that they got married? No better way to try and prove you wrong than to claim to be married. —Anonymous
Dear Skeptical About Kerr: Let me ask you a question: is there any other reason why we're reading about these two in the news? There's your answer
Dear Ted: Do you like One Tree Hill? What's up with the cast? Haven't heard about them in a long time. —Nikki
Dear Over the Hill: That's 'cause the cast isn't really doing anything all that thrilling (not unlike the show's fangirl replacement, Gossip Girl). But we've got some scoop on One Tree Hill alums Robbie Jones and Joe Manganiello (mmm!) over here, love.
Dear Ted: Dude, Inception totally sucked. My wife and I almost walked out of the p.o.s. movie last night. Terrible. And, BTW, the movie is a total rip-off of a much better film, Dark City. It's far from "original storytelling." I give this Hollywood abortion a D-. —Paul
Dear Dude 'Tude: Thanks for your movie review, Paul. Heartwarming to hear there are still movie elitists roaming the Internet these days. Mean it, love you. Now get over it.
Sophia Bush responds to 'Eat Less' shirt from Urban Outfitters. Mainly cheers, a few jeers on ONTD.
~ ~ ~
I love that Sophia spoke up like this, good for her!
that shirt is like 6 months old get with the program sophia they took it off the market MONTHS ago
She has said so much dumb shit before that I can't take her seriously, but good for her, I guess.
Never really cared about her before, but she has my respect now.
All the fucking idiots in here flipping out about "ZERO IS NOT A SIZE" from a fictional character on a TV show. She never said that SHE ran the campaign. - Then she shouldn't have mentioned it in a REAL letter about an issue she's addressing in the non-fictional world. Especially considering the fact that a lot of people don't watch her shitty show and that the title of that campaign is easily misinterpreted.
Also, people keep saying that "zero" is an insulting label, implying "nothing's there," but I've yet to see anyone suggest a better label for it. Clothes are currently labeled by numbers, so what do you call something smaller than size 1?
the campaign sounds alright in context for a plot for a desperate show. but then she went and used it in her letter as if it was the most clever thing to do. gurl.
For me it would be a lot easier to fake make out (the equivalent of filming love scenes?) with an acquaintance than with a friend. Friends are like family, I don't want them and sex near each other.
I think theirs was a differnet kind of friendship. I think they had some kind of emotional bond. I mean Jake tearing up with Heath at the DGAs! Who does that? I don't say they were sexually involved, but there seemed to be strong emotions during filming and promo. Ang Lee even said he was moved watching them interact off screen. IDK how close they stayed after all that though.
Hollywood actress ANNE HATHAWAY is winning over locals while filming a new movie in London - by embracing the hard-partying pub scene.
Hathaway is currently in the British capital working on an adaptation of David Nicholls' novel, One Day, and has spent her time off relaxing in the Prince Arthur pub in Hackney, East London.
The Devil Wears Prada star impressed the bar staff and regulars at a recent late-night party when she took the microphone and performed an impromptu cabaret set into the early hours.
But the 27 year old has kept up her professionalism - by turning up on set ready to work despite her late nights.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mail, "She's built up quite a reputation since the performance. But whatever she does in the pub, Anne has an enviable knack of showing up for filming the next morning as fresh as a daisy, as though she'd gone to sleep at 9pm with a mug of cocoa."
I wonder if Kirsten told Jake she hooked up with Heath before she and Jake got together.
I'm scared to bring this up, because I'll be inevitably be called a shipper, but I'll risk it. Wasn't there an entry that suggested Jake and Michelle went out a few times? If it's true I wonder if Heath knew?
Wasn't there an entry that suggested Jake and Michelle went out a few times?
No, there was a guy who loves taking pictures of him and celebrities, who said that a picture of Jake he posted was taken while Jake was waiting for Michelle after her performance in some NYC theatre.
Wasn't there an entry that suggested Jake and Michelle went out a few times?
Yeah, right. No media outlet picked up on anything only some guy on the net, even during BBM when the cast was under microscope? Okay, let me sell you some swamp land in Florida.
I don't understand the Heath/Naomi shippers. He left her in the worst way a guy can dump a girl. He went to start a family with a younger, equally pretty woman who he had known recently and he did it after he told her he wasn't ready to procreate. He made Naomi look like an old hag.
It doesn't surprise me that some posters here think Jake + Austin are the biggest love story ever told.
OTOH, it's good to maintain certain romantic sense on life, so i guess is ok.
DL info said... Bomer's going to be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow (Monday).
I overslept this morning and was running late for work. *cough*
And guess who I just "ran" into on my way to work leaving ABC's studios this morning--Bomer!!!
I got his autograph and took a photo with him.
He was sooo nice. And he is even more beautiful up close in person. He'd changed into black jeans and a black t-shirt. He is also a lot smaller than I'd expected. I've seen comments that IMDB Pro lists him at almost 6 feet. I'm not the best judge of these things, but my guess is he is closer to 5'9, maybe even shorter. Not that I care, I've never cared about whether someone is tall or short. And he has an incredibly slender build.
There were only about a dozen people waiting outside. Probably only 3 of us were fans, the others seemed to be professional autograph hounds, but he was nice enough to sign for them too, limiting them to 2 signatures each (they had glossy photos, I had my EW magazine with the wet t-shirt photo). There was also one old guy who apparently comes everyday and gets signatures from any guest who'll sign, and boy was he a walking encylopedia of who has been in what.
Well, obviously she forgave him and it seems they got friendlier again after he and Michelle went downhill. He even visited Naomi and baby Sasha after he was born. (Btw. I don't think Heath planned a baby with MW either)
It doesn't surprise me that some posters here think Jake + Austin are the biggest love story ever told.
I don't think they were the biggest love story ever told, but they were cute together (look at the baketball pics) back in the day. I don't believe they are together anymore.
destiny said... And guess who I just "ran" into on my way to work leaving ABC's studios this morning--Bomer!!! I got his autograph and took a photo with him.
Cool! I'm happy for you, destiny! I knew you'd run into him sooner or later :) He really does seem genuinely nice in his interviews and not just that celeb phony nice.
Mattbomerfan.com will probably get the video up, assuming it doesn't get taken down by YouTube. She's had that problem with other interviews, like his Leno appearance.
I was so focused on that beautiful face I forgot to look for the ring. :-D
I've seen Jake in person twice. Once was on the corner of the street where his sister lived in the Village before she moved to Brooklyn. It was during Passover, and I was on my way to the gay synagogue. He was talking to a couple with a baby. I walked right by him, and it was only my girlfriend's "that guy looks like Jake" that made me turn around and see it was him. I hated to turn around and go back again (LOL, typical "jaded" New Yorker") so I went on around the corner, and turned to look back and watch him. I turned away for a moment and when I turned back he was gone.
The second time was during Zodiac promotion, outside the Today show, and I actually shook his hand--he was making the rounds of the crowd circled around the outdoor area where they film some segments of the show.
Oops, one other time with Jake, outside Good Morning America as he was leaving the studios. This was all during my real Jake/BBM obsession days. He signed just a few autographs (not me, sadly) and then his bodyguard hustled him into a SUV.
Also saw Maggie and Peter at a small museum while she was pregnant. Peter even brushed up against my girlfriend squeezing through the narrow entrance of one of the galleries. He was really handsome in person (although I don't think he's aging well lately), and they both just glowed and lookes so happy together.
Maggie seemed really tall, and Jake seemed shorter than I was expecting, I don't think he's really 6 feet tall either, but still on the tall side, maybe 5'11.
When I saw him in the Village the first time he was doing what one friend calls the "Gyllenhaal slouch" and he looked kind of scruffy, in khaki pants and a long-sleeve shirt.
At the Today show he was of course all cleaned up, and he was looked just like he does on tv, so yes, just as good looking irl.
By the way, the fact that I could walk by him like that, at the height of my BBM mania, on a block I knew his sister lived on, shows that someone like Jake is not going to get noticed or "seen" everytime he goes out.
and they both just glowed and lookes so happy together.
Aww. They are such a great couple.
Maggie seemed really tall, and Jake seemed shorter than I was expecting, I don't think he's really 6 feet tall either, but still on the tall side, maybe 5'11.
Every Jake site says he's 6 feet. Jake himself claims he's 6 feet. But 5.11 or 6 feet isn't that big a difference.
It was during Passover, and I was on my way to the gay synagogue.
Gay synagogue?!? All those millions of Holocaust victims weren't enough to teach empathy and acceptance? There are times when I hate the whole fucking human race.

Matt Bomer Lets His Inner Club Girl Out of the Closet At Comic-Con

Dancing to Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" at Comic-Con in San Diego (on the Wii?), White Collar's Matt Bomer shows off his choreography with castmate Tim DeKay. Which begs the question: Since when does a network TV show about bank robberies and art thefts fit in at Comic-Con?
Gay synagogue?!? All those millions of Holocaust victims weren't enough to teach empathy and acceptance? There are times when I hate the whole fucking human race.
The gay synagogue in New York was formed about 40 years ago, at a time when yes, there were practically no Jewish synagogues and organizations that were supportive of gay rights and gay families. Sad but true.
But happily things are very different now, and gay people are welcome at many synagogues, and outside of the Orthodox community, most Jews suport gay rights and gay marriage, and are very progressive. Yes it took them time to change, but I think they did so before most Christian churches and organizations did so.
And the gay synagogue has plenty of straight families that belong to it too, so I'm using that term loosely. Actually my girlfriend generally goes to one in our neighborhood, not the gay one, but sometimes on holidays we go to the gay one because you don't have to be a member to attend services (and only being an "honorary" Jew myself, I don't belong to any synagogues).
But happily things are very different now, and gay people are welcome at many synagogues, and outside of the Orthodox community, most Jews suport gay rights and gay marriage, and are very progressive.
Penny Wong, Australia's Despicable Lesbian Senator Suddenly Slamming Gay Marriage
said...
Sen. Penny Wong, Australia's Labor Party climate change minister, is backing Prime Minister Julia Gillard's opposition to same-sex marriage. Which is an interesting position for Wong to take, given she's a lesbian.
The first lesbian cabinet member in Australia's history, Wong says she backs her party leader's stance on marriage equality — because that's the party's position. She is, quite clearly, a charlatan and a traitor to the LGBT community, more concerned with politics and appearances and towing the line than equal rights. "On the issue of marriage I think the reality is there is a cultural, religious, historical view around that which we have to respect," she said yesterday. "The party's position is very clear that this is an institution that is between a man and a woman." ...
Thanks for sticking up for me 6:54. Kind of ironic that someone is complaining about my posts when they are so easy to scroll by given that I use a name and avatar.
Sigh,I am so tired of self-loathing gay politicians.
Good question. I now know things about Destiny's job, her politics, her religion, her sexual orientation, her girlfriend, their sex life, her New York habits and a bunch more personal stuff of little interest. There is something called oversharing.

Oh please, get over it. I can't stand one more discussion about Heath and Michelle being miserable, Heath and Jake's level of friendship and Jake being a good or bad godfather to Matilda. To me, these are all repetetive and pointless discussions for which there will never be an answer to. But all I do is simply scroll past them instead of critizing and whining. If you don't like what someone is saying, then don't read the post, just pass it by.
Half the things you claim to know about me (and believe me, you don't know that much about me) are things I talked about on OMG, where people do talk about their lives more than here.
And like 10:13, I could care less about Michelle and Matilda, but I don't complain about those or any other subjects I don't have any interest in, I just scroll on by. I'm pretty sure you're one of the ones raising that subject.

I have little interest in Michelle, Matilda, or your personal life, either. I accept Michelle and Matilda topics here because they are connected to Jake. Your personal life is not.
I third 10:13 PM and Destiny about Michelle and Matilda. I'm so sick of reading about them here. The only reason I tolerate Heath discussion is there might be a very small possibility he and Jake screwed around. If they did I want to know, the rest I couldn't care less about.
I'm interested in Jake, Heath, Michelle and Anne. Brokeback Mountain is special to me, I believe they are all good people and I'm curious what's next in their professional and private life.
Tolerate? And then it's people like you who bring it up (like now again), just to start a fight. I agree about Michelle & Matilda, there's no place for that on here.
Destiny you're an idiot. You mean you didn't kidnap Boner, take him home and fuck his brains out? Sheesh. I would've picked him up, thrown him over one shoulder and run like hell.
Looks like there are reasons to expect LAOD to be good, but it's way to early too speculate how good will LAOD be and waaaaaaaaaaaay too early for Oscar discussions.
Jake has become a boring actor. He doesn't work as much as actors his age. And he's always on vacation. No wonder his fans get bored and lose interest.
Ever wonder why James Franco has made such eccentric career choices? NY Magazine tries to explain why!
Here’s an interesting quote from his personal assistant, Dana Morgan, a former UCLA classmate of his. She shares about James’ crazy schedule: “I tease him when people say, ‘How do you do it?’ I say, ‘You don’t! You do all the things they know about, but you don’t do the normal human-being things.’ …I guarantee you he would not eat unless I fed him. He’ll do the hand-to-mouth part, but I definitely bring it to his hands. It’s not that he’s helpless. It’s just that he would not take the time to find food. He has the luxury of not having to worry about it.”
James, 32, will soon shoot 127 Hours, director Danny Boyle’s follow-up to Slumdog Millionaire, in which James will play a hiker who gets trapped under a boulder and has to amputate his own arm.

He looks exhausted; it occurs to me that maybe he’s bouncing around to keep himself awake.
After a few minutes, Franco apologizes for his hopping and says he really just desperately needs to urinate. He keeps talking about his work as we walk down the hall—most of his student films, he tells me, have been adaptations of poems—and then he talks about it some more as he enters the bathroom. His voice takes on the ring of institutional porcelain and tile. His next film, he says, will be based on Spencer Reece’s poem “The Clerk’s Tale,” a dramatic monologue by a man who works in a mall. Franco is still talking about all of this as he starts to urinate, matter-of-factly, into a urinal—a process that goes on for an extremely long time. (He’s a compulsive drinker of Starbucks coffee, and Abramovic talked for well over an hour.) He’ll be filming at an actual mall in Queens next weekend, he says, still urinating, and the movie will star the performance artist John Kelly, who’s best known for appearing onstage, in drag, as Joni Mitchell. As I stand behind Franco, here in the tiny bathroom, taking notes, I feel a strange little thrill of low-grade intimacy—equal parts discomfort, amusement, affection, and an excitement whose source I can’t quite trace.
Franco washes his hands, and we head back out to the lobby, where he’s met by a small group that’s been milling around—it’s hard to tell if it’s an entourage or just a few lingering friends and classmates, a Hollywood thing or a student thing. Before he turns to walk away, Franco does something surprising: He winks at me. I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

He can fly back home and then back to MV at the end of the week if he wanted to. Not a big deal.

I think you're conflating two separate issues.
You are right and I think that was done on purpose.

Nick Clegg: We are not in a Brokeback coalition

Calm down, 11:49 AM.

Again, if the non-Jaustin believers think Jake is with someone else, and Ted says GG and TT are definitely together, then it's only logical that non-Jaustin believers might be having second thoughts on GG's identity.

Whether Heath's telling the truth about the friendship with Jake or not, I think it's an interesting comment. For me it would be a lot easier to fake make out (the equivalent of filming love scenes?) with an acquaintance than with a friend. Friends are like family, I don't want them and sex near each other.

"Salt" is shaken by "Inception"
1. "Inception" ($43.5 million)
2. "Salt" ($36.5 million)
3. "Despicable Me" ($24.1 million)
4. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" ($9.7 million)

You're likely talking to ESL speakers who can't differentiate meanness and anger when translating languages in their heads. They can't see how that comes across on the page.
You'd just love this report !
I love it. :)
"The vase broke itself"
Now that's my kind of language!

I get fed very few times during many many months.

The bigger question is, why would anyone want Jake to parent a child with a tool like Austin? His assy tweets show that he's a few bricks short of a full load.
Austin's overplayed fauxmance is also proof that evolution CAN go in reverse.
His assy tweets show that he's a few bricks short of a full load.
Maybe tweeting brings the worst in Austin? :)
Another example of how tweeting brings the worst in people ;)

An old article, but ...
May 28, 2010
Sure, "Sex and the City 2" is an escapist romp not meant to be taken seriously.
Why "Sex and the City" is bad for the gays
Dear Ted:
Thank you for always calling out the games that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom (Kerbloom) are trying to play on the public with this farce they have going on. What do you think of the announcement that they got married? No better way to try and prove you wrong than to claim to be married.
—Anonymous
Dear Skeptical About Kerr:
Let me ask you a question: is there any other reason why we're reading about these two in the news? There's your answer
Dear Ted:
Do you like One Tree Hill? What's up with the cast? Haven't heard about them in a long time.
—Nikki
Dear Over the Hill:
That's 'cause the cast isn't really doing anything all that thrilling (not unlike the show's fangirl replacement, Gossip Girl). But we've got some scoop on One Tree Hill alums Robbie Jones and Joe Manganiello (mmm!) over here, love.
Dear Ted:
Dude, Inception totally sucked. My wife and I almost walked out of the p.o.s. movie last night. Terrible. And, BTW, the movie is a total rip-off of a much better film, Dark City. It's far from "original storytelling." I give this Hollywood abortion a D-.
—Paul
Dear Dude 'Tude:
Thanks for your movie review, Paul. Heartwarming to hear there are still movie elitists roaming the Internet these days. Mean it, love you. Now get over it.

Sophia smarter than Austin?
Is there any doubt? But my respect for Sophia is ZERO after showing her true (twitter) colors.

Hathaway Is A Hit In London Pub

OTOH, it's good to maintain certain romantic sense on life,

Probably only 3 of us were fans, the others seemed to be professional autograph hounds, but he was nice enough to sign for them too, limiting them to 2 signatures each
(they had glossy photos, I had my EW magazine with the wet t-shirt photo). There was also one old guy who apparently comes everyday and gets signatures from any guest who'll sign, and boy was he a walking encylopedia of who has been in what.
I got his autograph and took a photo with him.
Wow!
He made Naomi look like an old hag.
How exciting, Destiny! :)

I hope this shows up on youtube. I checked the Regis and Kelly site, but they only have video of their host chat session (or whatever it's called).
Has anyone on WFT 2 ever met Jake in person?
Thanks Destiny for telling about your encounters with Jake. May I ask, is he as nice looking IRL as he seems to be on the screen?
At the Today show he was of course all cleaned up, and he was looked just like he does on tv, so yes, just as good looking irl.
:)
I may not agree with some of Jake's actions in the past few years, but he's such a good looking man in my eyes. :)

Is this site Destiny's private journal now?
6:37 PM, sorry to hear you are pissed with Destiny, but her posts about Jake and Bomer have nothing to do with "private journal".
"The party's position is very clear that this is an institution that is between a man and a woman."

I'm pretty sure you're one of the ones raising that subject.
destiny, keep getting sightings and telling us about them along with gay life and history in NY. 6:37/9:58 is boring.
Destiny you're an idiot. You mean you didn't kidnap Boner, take him home and fuck his brains out? Sheesh.

I have little interest in Michelle, Matilda, or your personal life, either. I accept Michelle and Matilda topics here because they are connected to Jake. Your personal life is not.
Jake's life doesn't seemt that interesting at the moment, so people repeat old topics. There's nothing new to talk about just yet.

By Sam Anderson
