Between courses at the Ravagh Persian Grill in Manhattan (his choice), he pulls out from under his T-shirt the two chains that hang around his neck. Each has a ring at its end - one is a black diamond, the other a pendant of Saint Genesius, patron saint of actors - and he starts rolling them between his fingers. But he almost seems alarmed when I ask about them, as though he hasn't been aware of what he has been doing. A diner from another table comes over.
"Can I say hi to you?" she asks.
"Yes, you can," he says.
"Oh, my gosh," she says. "You're my favorite."
"Oh no," he says. "Oh, don't say that. You say that to everybody."
"No!" she protests. "I love The Brokenback Mountain. I really did love it. I watched it three times."
Brokenback Mountain. Once she recedes, he turns to me and says, "You don't want to know the variations of that title." He tells me how, just the other day, a lawyer asked him how he got into acting at such a young age. "I think at first I was just ambitious," he says. "It was blind ambition. I wanted to be out there. I mean, I remember watching my sister up onstage doing South Pacific when we were kids and going, 'That looks like a fucking lot of fun.'" He debates with himself. "Was it attention? Probably, but I think it was more the magic. It's magic, some of what happens in movies. I mean, people asked me many times through the experience of Brokeback Mountain what that was like. And the best way I can describe it is what we all carry with ourselves from that experience, and why we feel so close. Forget all the awards that come, with people kind of adorning each other - it wasn't about that. There was something magical in that time. We all slept in our trailers out by a trailer park the first month of making that movie. I was sleeping next to Ang's trailer; Ang's trailer was next to Heath and Michelle's trailer - they'd kind of moved in together. And Michael Hausman, the producer, brought his Airstream trailer down. And it was just us, by this river, for a month. And we would walk to set, and we would eat together, and we would all make coffee in the morning, and I would wake up in the morning and there would be Ang Lee doing Tai Chi outside of my trailer, and it was just magical. It was just magical."
To promote the movie, the cast appeared together on Oprah. For the first half of the show, it was just Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger fending off Winfrey's enthusiasm and curiosity. There is a sheen cast over the movie now - to some extent because of its subject matter but mostly because of Ledger's death - that leaves it and anything connected to it frozen, untouchable. So rewatching the two actors on Oprah, I was surprised to see Gyllenhaal alluding to times that the two of them didn't get on during the filming. Gyllenhaal seems surprised, too, when I mention this, as if he wasn't aware this was something he'd shared. But he remembers. The scene with the two of them by the river, for instance.
"Where Heath's character goes into how his father knew of two guys who lived together and he ended up seeing them killed and dead. I had always read it in a certain way. I heard it in my mind a certain way. And I had worked with these incredible actors like Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon. When I worked with Dustin, he would always do things to me; in between a take, he would stop his lines, and he'd be like, 'You're a wonderful person,' or horrible things sometimes to jar me... getting a different response. And so I decided in this scene to gather the gumption" - this was when Ledger's part of the scene was being filmed and Gyllenhaal was off-camera - "and I don't subscribe to this really, changing lines on an actor, because I don't think I'm Dustin Hoffman, and I don't think I have the ability or the talent to do that to somebody. But I do think that changing intention sometimes on an actor when you're doing a scene when you're not on-camera is really interesting for them. But I did it at one point in this one scene, and I'd always heard it a certain way, so I was almost trying to move the scene to that place for him. He delivered the whole thing very, very straight, and he could feel me trying to do that, and I remember him getting really upset with me. And I remember him turning to Ang at the end of it and going, 'If he wants to tell me what to do, have him tell you'... We had these kind of exchanges, you know. But ultimately, the way I look at it was I was wrong, because he was brilliant. But at the same time I think, "Well, if I hadn't, would it have gone a certain way?" We balanced each other out. When I think about these things that happened then, we were very much alive in that movie. We were really living that movie. Not literally, but you think about those times in your life..."
One thing Gyllenhaal would do - feeding off the way Ledger had chosen to play the part of Ennis quietly, his teeth clenched - was to ask him in character, "What? What'd you say?" "Stupid me," Gyllenhaal comments now.
Did Heath never do anything that annoyed you?
"No. I always admired Heath. I always was kind of enamored by him, you know. I mean, yeah, sometimes it was hard to sit with him. He moved... He was a mover."
People have since suggested that he was really, really troubled by having to do all that promotion and campaigning. Was that your sense?
"Yeah. He was very sensitive. He didn't always really have a sense of performance in his everyday life. He was who he was. I think actors very often, they know how to present something, and that's part of their job. I think he was just really sensitive. We often used to do a lot of things together, because people were very interested in him and I think we felt safe together."
For example, he says that when he and Ledger had to introduce Ang Lee at the Directors Guild awards, Ledger refused point-blank to say anything jokey about Lee, as might have been expected at such an event. Their introduction was consequently so serious and earnest, says Gyllenhaal, that when Lee came up to the stage, he told them, "That was so gay."
Still, he also remembers how much they'd be laughing backstage at events: "For such a serious actor as Heath was, he was crazy funny. Dark funny, but funny." Out front, they came to be sobered by people's reactions, as they realized that the movie was bigger than all of them, bigger than they'd realized. Gyllenhaal tells me a strange thing about the filming, an experience he'd just rhapsodized about as so magical: "In retrospect, it just was a painful process." As though there's no reason why both memories should not be equally true. "I don't think any of us can watch it to this day," he says. "I remember talking to Michelle very recently and her being like, 'I didn't know if it was any good or not.'"
Afterward, he and Ledger stayed in close touch. "We'd talk a few times a month. I mean, he was a friend. He was like my creative partner." The news of Ledger's death came while Gyllenhaal was filming Brothers.
Could you make any sense of it at all?
A lengthy pause. "I don't really like talking about it. That period of time was... It was difficult."
What effect do you think it had on you?
"Even when we did Brokeback and stuff, it was like my work was the only thing that mattered to me. It was like I could only understand or define myself through doing that. Life, I didn't totally understand. And I think I was afraid of life. And I had success in my work, enough success that you could keep going back there. But after that happened... I think I recognized that it was work. And I recognized that this is for real."
"This" being life?
"It's for real."
What were you scared of?
"It seems to me that there are some people who go, 'All right, I'm grabbing the bull by the horns. Let's do this...,' and there are some people who it takes a while to figure out. It's an everyday struggle to be able to go, 'I'm going to follow my own instincts - I'm going to try and hear my own heart regardless...' We're getting pretty deep here. I mean, there are things that I want in my life. You can hide in your work, I guess I'm saying, or you can be alive and free and live in your work. You can pretend the people that you're going to work with for however many months are going to be the family that's going to be forever. But the truth is, they're not. And no matter what relationships you make along the way - which have been occasionally really, really influential in my life – ultimately I choose all the mishegoss, and all the complication and confusions of life, which takes courage and patience to sift through. Over the temporary moment of 'Oh, I'm comforted in the womb of this family.' I choose the other. I hate to say this, but - "Gyllenhaal smiles - "it's time to jump."
***
There is a famous scene in Brokeback Mountain where Ledger's and Gyllenhaal's characters jump together off a cliff into a river, both of them naked.
In reality, Ledger made the jump but Gyllenhaal did not. Originally the leap was to have been from a lower ledge, but Ledger wanted to go from right at the top. They were told how careful they would have to be, falling from that height, because they might hit the river's shallow bottom, and they were also warned of the hazards presented by the glacial water. Gyllenhaal realized he wasn't so sure about it. He had just been cast in Jarhead, and that shoot was starting soon. He knew that if he injured himself, he would lose the part. And he was comforted by a precedent: he remembered a story he had heard in his youth, about how Paul Newman, a family friend, hadn't actually made the leap in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He decided to let a stand-in jump in his stead.
I ask him whether Ledger didn't, after all they had been through together, say to him, "You're wimping out on this?"
"It's interesting - he never did say that. I would have loved for him to have said that."
Would it have made you feel bad?
"Maybe. Yeah, probably. But I was actually really, really proud of myself that I didn't do it. For me, it was a great triumph. You know, there's a pressure that people put on themselves to not trust their instincts. You know, show the stunt guys I can do it, prove it to this person, prove it to that person. Who do I need to prove it to? And Heath didn't do it for any of those reasons - he did it because he wanted to jump."
Do you at all regret not doing it now?
"Yeah. But that's me now."

^^Proof interview and he mentioned how it was working with Gwyneth in Proof and with Heath in BBM. I think I saw it on youtube. I don't have the time to look for it now. When I have the time I'll look for it and post it.
The Miami pictures should prove that she was in Miami most likely with Austin
I don't think Austin was in Miami, if he was we would get a few Sophia and Austin pictures.
When I have the time I'll look for it and post it.
Thanks!
All eyes were on Jake Gyllenhaal as he walked into Osteria Mozza in L.A. with a guy friend after 11 p.m. The actor was greeted with a hug from Adam Levine (of Maroon 5), and the trio spent the night chatting and sipping cocktails. The next morning, a casually dressed Gyllenhaal stopped for breakfast at Blu Jam Café with another group of friends. "They were laughing and looked like they were having a great time," says an onlooker of Gyllenhaal and his posse.
caught in the act
Blue Jam - it seems it wasn't just Jake and Anne, others joined them too for breakfast. It's nice to see that they are friends now. :)

Guy friend was probably Austin.
what is she saying? said...
Jake Gyllenhaal is such a smoke monster.
Jake likes weed?
Guy friend was probably Austin.
That's a nice thought, but I don't think so.
If it were Austin, they would've recognized him.
Let's forget basketball and biking for a minute - when was the last time Jake and Austin were spotted at the restaurant, cinema, cafe, concert? 2006? 2007?

One is probably staying home watching the kid(s) while the other is out. Last pictures of them together were biking pictures from 2008/9.

OMG, Jake has a new boyfriend!
I want to know who's Jake's "guy friend."
It's possible that someone did recognize Austin, but People changed it to guy friend. Also, I think 95% of the people in this country wouldn't recognize Austin, even in HW. With scruff and a cap pulled down over his head, he looks like half the men in LA, including Reese's new love.
People recognize Austin now, especially in La La land. The friend was probably a "civilian". What happened to Paltrow? Maybe she showed up later
I don't think so. Jake's guy friend is probably a civilian.
That's a nice thought, but I don't think so.
Why not? He's Jake's boyfriend.
If it were Austin, they would've recognized him.
Not necessarily. Read 8:30 AM's post.
But I'm doubtful about Helena too. Heath liked tender blondes, Helena is a hard faced uggo."
Not necessarily although Heath did like blondes. One of his old gfs--the one he followed to the states was Lisa Zane, who was 17 years older than Heath (older than Helena Christenson, who I always heard was both Heath's drug and fuck buddy--and I believe it. By the way, she may have aged a bit since her "Wicked Games" video days but she still has a smoking hot body).
Why not? He's Jake's boyfriend.
Let's forget basketball and biking for a minute - when was the last time Jake and Austin were spotted at the restaurant, cinema, cafe, concert? 2006? 2007?
^^Hartnett, Bentley all friends of Heath's were/are druggies too and probably provided him with drugs too. He was a nice guy (well a player with the ladies, but as someone said, nobody is perfect), but had a weakness for drugs and alcohol and some wrong friends. I'm sure he had many great friends too who genuinely tried to help him.
Let's forget basketball and biking for a minute - when was the last time Jake and Austin were spotted at the restaurant, cinema, cafe, concert? 2006? 2007?
I think they go out, but are low profile about it. And I'm sure many don't recognize Austin.
There is nothing low profile about Osteria Mozza in L.A.
And I'm sure many don't recognize Austin.
They don't need to recognize Austin - they just need to report "Jake and a guy" - there were no such reports.
By the way, she may have aged a bit since her "Wicked Games" video days but she still has a smoking hot body).
To me she's nothing better than a cheap druggie slut. Shortly after H. passed she was seen vacationing and having fun with another young stud. That's life.
Obama backing off his promises? He's only been in office for two year. He's the only President that has done anything for LGBT rights, or even made any kind of promise at all. In case you haven't noticed, he's been a little busy trying to rescue the American economy from out of the toilet, and is trying to wind down two wars he inherited from the previous administration, and has created a landmark national healthcare program. I'm betting the next thing you will see is the repeal of DADT.
Going on a crusade so that you can get people to not buy tickets to see PoP is silly and a waste of time. There's more to LGBT rights than what Jake G is or isn't doing. A poster here admits to not going out of their way to even see Jake's movies, so what's the attraction?
It's possible that someone did recognize Austin, but People changed it to guy friend.
Jake and Austin don't care about being seen together?
Let's forget basketball and biking for a minute - when was the last time Jake and Austin were spotted at the restaurant, cinema, cafe, concert? 2006? 2007?
Exactly.
I think many tie Jake's gayness to Austin. Not me, Jake is gay with or without Austin and sorry to say but until there's a reliable sighting or pics, I see no reason to believe they're a couple. Jake is likely an unattached gay guy who occasionally hooks up with men.
According to Ted they are still very much a couple.
I'm sick of people saying most people wouldn't recognize Austin, what bullshit. They would in L.A. and especially that place, Austin has mentioned that he goes to Osteria Mozza. I also love how some claim that he wouldn't be recognized in Austin, TX!! That's what some idiot posted here ack in Febuary.
Some act like Jake only has a handful of friends. Remember that goofy looking guy Jake was in that car with a few months back and that guy that was with Jake and Chris at that BB game?
Going on a crusade so that you can get people to not buy tickets to see PoP is silly and a waste of time.
Huh? What are you talking about?
Yeah, Ted also says there's a Family Tile. He lost his credibility so you will have to excuse me if I don't believe him.
and that guy that was with Jake and Chris at that BB game?
Wasn't the consensus that it probably was Chris's boyfriend?
Ted is full of shit
I wish some of you would turn your anger and lynch-mob mentality to Goldmann-Sachs and their ilk. Just think what you could accomplish. :)
Yeah, Ted also says there's a Family Tile. He lost his credibility so you will have to excuse me if I don't believe him.
How do you know that there is not a Family Tile? You can't.
Some act like Jake only has a handful of friends. Remember that goofy looking guy Jake was in that car with a few months back and that guy that was with Jake and Chris at that BB game?
ITA!
Why would Ted make up BT? For what reason? And why would he go on and on about it?
How do you know that there is not a Family Tile? You can't.
Yes, I can, because I'm not delusional like others.
Don't try to sway me with facts, my mind is made up!
What facts?
LOL, what facts?
LOL, what facts?
Ted would make a complete fool of himself if BT turns out ot be a lie. I don't think he'd have mentioned it if there wasn't truth to it.
And that's your fact?! Now you've convinced me. lol
I like Ted, I read all his gossip, but I don't believe anything without asking questions and using my own head.
Babblers are saying that Disney does not expect POP to do that well in the US.
LOL, since when have the Babblers had any credibility with this crowd? Some of you are very amusing.
the one he followed to the states was Lisa Zane, who was 17 years older than Heath
17 years! LOL Heath. Graham and Watts were over a decade older than him as well.
I'll bet Heath was one hell of a lover. :)
In fact, there's every evidence that Heath's distanced himself from Jake, and Jakey complied.
What evidence?
The only thing I'd bet the bank on was that Heath had no interest in getting to know Jake's "girlfriend."
Patrick Bateman said it best.
I'll bet Heath was one hell of a lover. :)
If someone like Naomi Watts is crazy about you, you must do something right (in bed too). ;)
The only thing I'd bet the bank on was that Heath had no interest in getting to know Jake's "girlfriend."
He did hang out with Jake's ex gf, the crazy (but lovable?) Drunkst.
I love how when the topic of BT, Austin & Jake comes up, the subject gets changed to Heath. I'm going back to the OMG baby-booties knitting circle.
He did hang out with Jake's ex gf, the crazy (but lovable?) Drunkst.
Yeah but he had banged her once. Reese, otoh...
"I love how when the topic of BT, Austin & Jake comes up, the subject gets changed"
I'm sure that everyone here will be happy to read a sighting or see a pic of Jaustin and their child/children.
We are waiting...patiently.
9:19 AM, any questions about BT, Austin & Jake? What's stopping you from discussing BT, Austin & Jake?
Yeah but he had banged her once. Reese, otoh...
Look at Heath's gorgeous girlfriends, he never would have touched that short nasty teethed phoney. *barf*
Ted can lie about BT because, well he can. What's going to happen to him? Will the gossip cop arrest him? Only posters here and on OMG believe that crap, and they cross post on DL and ONTD, the same pool of "readers". That's not too much to worry about and Ted knows it.
I want to read Kiki's memoirs! :)
I'll bet Heath was one hell of a lover. :)
Someday Jake will spill... And yes, I'm (possibly) the only one who thinks Heath went for it, just to give Jake a lesson. :)
God, I hope so! :)
After all those drugs and alcohol I think Kirsten doesn't remember much.
I imagine myself at 95 years old, putting on my glasses and sitting in a rocking chair, opening up GQ and reading about that, and right at that moment, I go to the great beyond, and very happy. :)
^^Jake spilling about Heath, I mean.
Heath was such a ho that I think it’s possible he didn't turn down a pretty thing like Jake, even if it had a dick. ;)
*cough*
"Ted would make a complete fool of himself if BT turns out ot be a lie. I don't think he'd have mentioned it if there wasn't truth to it."
Ted will never look like a fool because he will never come out and say who Toothy is. Ted's not an idiot, E pays him a nice paycheck to spin his column. Toothy is his most famous, most lasting and most popular vice. When his Toothy source died, Ted probably began to embellish. No one will ever be able to prove him wrong because he will never name Toothy and Toothy will never stand up and say "I'm Toothy Tile". So for Ted it's a win-win situation.
opening up GQ and reading about that
I'm hoping it will be in some publication along the lines of Penthouse:
"Dear Whatever, I never thought this would happen to me, but..."
:)
Wow, trolly is having a meltdown over the Jake sighting with a guy.
And I'd bet good money the person insisting everyone would recognize Austin is the same person who said just the opposite when there were sightings of Sophia in Texas that didn't mention him.
By the way, how many sightings or tweets have their been of Austin, with anyone in the past couple of years?? Except when he has been with Sophia (and I think some of those are made up, but not all), nada.
People have no clue who Austin is. Show your friends a picture of him, one that doesn't have Sophia or Jake in it, and ask them who it is. Bet 99 out of 100 couldn't tell you who he is.
Clang clang clang went the trolley.........forgot to take your meds again?
A lot of people know Jake + there were no Jake and some guy sightings = Jake and Austin do not hang out in public.
older than Helena Christenson, who I always heard was both Heath's drug and fuck buddy--and I believe it
People exaggerate all the time. Because of the men she's dated, her friendship with rockers, Stipe, Bono. She smokes pot but, going by recent photos, otherwise treats her body like a temple. (I agree she has a tough face though.)
"Supermodel Helena Christensen says she often smoked cannabis and was not afraid to indulge in the recreational substance. She said: "I wouldn't say no if somebody passed me a joint." However, Christensen insists she is not like other models who have experimented with harder drugs, including Kate Moss who was captured on film snorting cocaine last year. The catwalk beauty claims many models are attracted to the apparent glamour of Class A narcotics but she was never tempted because of her strict upbringing. She told Britain's Grazia magazine: "It was never a problem for me. I was brought up with a lot of discipline so I wasn't attracted to it. But there were a lot of young, beautiful girls on the party scene, with a lot of drugs around. I'm not a saint, but drugs were never my thing."
Shortly after H. passed she was seen vacationing and having fun with another young stud. That's life.
That was her boyfriend from a while back. She's not a druggie but she is a cougar.
Hartnett, Bentley all friends of Heath's were/are druggies too and probably provided him with drugs too.
lol, you're so funny. The people who "provide" drugs are not name actors. Someone lower on the food chain provides to them. Don't you go to parties and see how things work? Even the C-list actors I know don't deal.
By the way, when Bentley passed on the role of prison guard in Monster's Ball (2001), Heath stepped in, partly as a favor to Wes. Wes then went on his heroin journey for the next 9 years. Heath, however, did 11 movies from 2001-2007. To do that, you can't be strung out. Not saying Heath was pure by any means, but some moralizing hater here always strives to smear him as a junkie. He simply wasn't.
"Hollywood star Heath Ledger's publicist is speaking out against rumors of the late actor's alleged drug use, branding the claims "heinous lies." Mara Buxbaum, who worked for the star before his sudden death, insists the "Brokeback Mountain" actor was never addicted to hard drugs and is outraged at the media speculation surrounding the 28-year-old's horrible death. Several gossip Web sites have also reported claims that Ledger's fiancee, Michelle Williams, ended their relationship over an alleged drug habit. But Buxbaum is eager to say the rumors are not true. Buxbaum tells New York Daily News, "(The story is) fabricated ... just one lie among many. The speculation is heinous."
10:22 AM,
trolly, we feel sorry for Austin and his bearding with Sophia.
People have no clue who Austin is. Show your friends a picture of him, one that doesn't have Sophia or Jake in it, and ask them who it is. Bet 99 out of 100 couldn't tell you who he is.
Since Austin has been in OTH you can bet he's known well enough to be recognized in a place like Osteria Mozza in LA with cap, stubble, shades, you name the "camouflage".
Jake and Austin on a hot date on a Friday night. Maybe they flirted with Adam, maybe they all went home together and had a wild three-way.
Jake and Austin kissing in a tree....
Austin said in an interview that he likes to go to Mozza on a Friday ngiht. So please point me to all the tweets and sightings of him there on Friday nights. Surely there would have been dozens of them by now if everyone can recognize him.
I'm waiting......
Jaustinites need to let it go and stop spinning. Jake was probably there with a civilian (friend, boyfriend or hook up, who knows?)
Jake and Austin on a hot date on a Friday night.
Austin was nowhere near Mozza.
If I had not seen my boyfriend for weeks while making a movie, I would spend his birthday with him alone and throw the party the day after.
I agree. Jake going out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday sounds like there was no "special time" and no party.
Still waiting for all those Austin tweets and sightings.
And of course Jake is going to go out of his way to be seen publicly on the weekend of Austin's birthday. How often do we get sighting after sighting like this in one weekend. Except for some Reeking, never. There's also nothing from Saturday night.
Still waiting for all those Austin tweets and sightings.
Not sure I understand your point.
Austin was to busy getting ready for his photo op on Monday , no time for a birthday cake, LOL!!
Jake going out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday sounds like there was no "special time" and no party.
Plus doctor's office on Friday.
I absolutely believe Jake is gay but I also thing that the Austin affair is over. The last year of Reeke and the last few months has seen them be in different places almost most of the time. I think they did have something intense, but it's over and are maybe occasional fuck buddies. I believe that Jake was a Mozza with some guy that was not famous. Austin might not be A list, but his face is reasonaly well known. I'm thinking Jake may just have a new boyfriend and has learned how to keep it very low key.
actor was greeted with a hug from Adam Levine (of Maroon 5), and the trio spent the night chatting and sipping cocktails
What happened to Gwyneth?
People magazine (Jake's PR?) decided not to mention Gwyneth or Anne:
The next morning, a casually dressed Gyllenhaal stopped for breakfast at Blu Jam Café with another group of friends.
Austin was to busy getting ready for his photo op on Monday , no time for a birthday cake, LOL!!
I'm sorry but Austin is a very caring husband and parent - he was expressing milk from his moobs all weekend, so that BT was looked after during the photo op on Monday.
I'm thinking Jake may just have a new boyfriend and has learned how to keep it very low key.
Except Osteria Mozza is not low key. If you want to keep something private you don't bring it to venues like that.
Saturday's sighting was in the morning, and mentioned a group of people. Nothing for the rest of the day.
And boy, look at all those posts about Heath, one right after another. Nobody writes all that copy so quickly, look how those long posts are just a minute or two apart. No, somebody had that all written up and ready to use to bomb wft2 when need be. My only question is who? A troll, or PR?
The people sighting was sent in by someone who saw the tweet and decided to delete Anne and Gwen for their own reasons.
And no People doesn't check and they don't always run it by PR, not sightings anyway.
Fuck off PG, we can post about Heath all we want.
Except Osteria Mozza is not low key.
Doesn't matter, no one would presume he's a new boyfriend.
"Except Osteria Mozza is not low key. If you want to keep something private you don't bring it to venues like that."
Why not? It was after 11pm and if the guy with Jake isn't well known what could happen? Someone could tweet that Jake was at a restaurant with some guy and ran into other friends who were as famous as Jake. Big deal. If Jake had gone with Austin, alot more people know who he is and that would have been a much bigger deal. Besides taking a date to Mozza at 11pm is alot more low key than courtside seats at a Lakers game at 8pm.
Still waiting for all those Austin tweets and sightings.
Not sure I understand your point.
If Austin is so damn recognizable, how come we never get tweets of him, except for the rare Sophin sighting?
He said in an interview during JFC that he liked to go to Mozza on a Friday night. Where are all those mentions of him there on a Friday night? All those people whipping out there I-phones to tweet their sightings of him?
He said the same thing about liking to go to breakfast at Ammo, a place we often get lots of celeb sightings from, including the whole Gyllenhaal clan.
NOT ONE TWEET. Not one sighting.
It's just not realistic, if as you say, everyone in LA recognizes him.
"Fuck off PG, we can post about Heath all we want."
Good catch. When I re-read that post, it's definitely her.
I'm the one who mentioned the Heath posts, and I'm not PG.
Never said someone couldn't talk about Heath either, just pointing out what appears to be a very strangerapid-fire, carpet-bombing pattern of posts.
So why don't you go fuck yourself Trolly.
^^Trolly calling eveyone else trollys. Standard Operating Procedure of da Troll.
And why don't you FUCK OFF TROLLY.
I am the one who posted about the Heath posts, and no, I'm not PG. I never use a name anywhere.
Never said you couldn't talk about Heath. All I did was point out the unnatural carpet-bombing we got this morning, as an observation about WHO was posting them all. Didn't say a FUCKING WORD about the topic, Heath.
Sorry for two similar posts, I thought Blogger ate my first post.
He said in an interview during JFC that he liked to go to Mozza on a Friday night.
If he's a regular there all the more reason to be recognized with Jake.
If Austin is so damn recognizable, how come we never get tweets of him, except for the rare Sophin sighting?
Because, how can I say this without offending, Austin is not relevant enough to be tweeted or sighted alone.
Why on Earth would Jake take Austin to meet Adam at Mozza????????
Since when Jake and Austin go out together???????
Heath is talked about here all the time, nomatter what the subject is at the time.
If you don't like it then go elsewhere.
You must be pissed that Sophia who is so pro gay marriage and she has agreed to beard.
Doubtful Austin is always recognized. His only starring role was in JFC which never caught on and OTH appeals to teenagers/early 20's crowd. Mozza is a place to be seen. Even if it was not Austin, at least Jake is sticking to his preferred male date. No more female beards for him. Still my money is on Austin as the friend he was with.
You must be pissed that Sophia who is so pro gay marriage and she has agreed to beard.
What?! Sophia is supporting a gay friend and using him to get press.
Even if it was not Austin...
Why would Jake take Austin to meet Adam at Mozza?
Why on Earth would Jake take Austin to meet Adam at Mozza????????
IA, and wouldn’t Jake rather stay in with Austin and spend the first evening after many weeks apart just the two of them ? That’s what I would have done if I hadn’t seen my partner in so long. Friends can wait.
Austin was in Austria, and Jake in Montreal. Probably didn't have any food in the house and didn't want to go shopping/cooking the minute they got back. I can understand that, I'm the same way when I first get back from a long vacation.
Mozza is an almost impossible place to get into, doubt it was full of OTH fangirls who would have recognized Austin. And for all the hell we know that was a pr plant as well, we know People uses them all the time, to make it look like Austin was out with someone other than Austin his first day back in LA.
Austin is using Sophia you silly fangirl, she gets plenty of attention solo.
IA, and wouldn’t Jake rather stay in with Austin and spend the first evening after many weeks apart just the two of them ? That’s what I would have done if I hadn’t seen my partner in so long. Friends can wait.
That is exactly why Jake was seen out and about so much this weekend. So people like you will say things like this, and say, hey, Jake isn't with Austin, that's all made up, he's really not gay.
11:57 AM, couples always get more publicity and attention, ask the chin.
Austin was in Austria, and Jake in Montreal. Probably didn't have any food in the house and didn't want to go shopping/cooking the minute they got back.
Jake has people working for him who can do the shopping.
That is exactly why Jake was seen out and about so much this weekend. So people like you will say things like this, and say, hey, Jake isn't with Austin, that's all made up, he's really not gay.
Please, Jake is gay with and without Austin. The point is that it looks like Jake and Austin aren't dating anymore.
If Jake has people to shop for him, why is he always spotted at Farmers markets? And for someone that likes to cook, he is always seen eating out, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well not always, but more than you would think for someone that likes to cook so much
That is exactly why Jake was seen out and about so much this weekend.˙
That doesn't make any sense. Only some JiG die hard fans care about Jake and Austin, and would bother to notice and speculate about something like that.
If Jake has people to shop for him, why is he always spotted at Farmers markets?
One more time. Jake's PA can do the shopping for him if he wants to save time and stay in bed with some guy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Last weekend that wasn't the case so Jake was out a lot.
Jake has always made a point of being seen out a lot when Austin is in town the same time he is. I don't think that is a coincidence. Always tons of Reeke photos at times like that, or sightings like this past weekend. Jake usually doesn't go out so much in one weekend like that, except maybe when Maggie is around.
And if you think Jake and his pr don't care about sites like this, well, can I point out to you the whole chain dance in GQ, and the constant monitoring of places like wft2 and OMG by pr?
and the constant monitoring of places like wft2 and OMG by pr
Could you elaborate please
So people like you will say things like this, and say, hey, Jake isn't with Austin, that's all made up, he's really not gay.
People like me? Sorry if spinning and grasping at straws is not my thing. I hate to break it to you but many think Jake is gay without Austin. Jake's homosexuality is NOT tied to Austin. Get it through your head, please!
PR monitors this site, OMG, GB, WDW, IHJ etc. It's no secret and no big deal, it's the same with sny actor not just Jake.
Jake has always made a point of being seen out a lot when Austin is in town the same time he is.
That is impossible because Austin lives in LA for years.
12:32 thanks for that. Do they post here at all, trying to steer the conversation in a particular direction?
Several gossip Web sites have also reported claims that Ledger's fiancee, Michelle Williams, ended their relationship over an alleged drug habit. But Buxbaum is eager to say the rumors are not true.
Of course the rumors aren't true. It was Heath who dumped Ms. "Accidental Pregnancy".
Even though I don't think Heath was an addict, I do think he was a drug user.
Do they post here at all, trying to steer the conversation in a particular direction?
That's impossible to know. We do have resident troll(s), but we can't know if they are just silly fangirls or they work for PR.
I wonder what will happen when Jake will get a boyfriend and we’ll find out about it. Will the Jaustinites kill themselves or will they try to spin it any which way and say it’s just PR? lol
I LOVED and still love Heath's work as an actor. His performance as Ennis will always be one of my all-time favorites but..boyfriend was an addict--especially during his final months when he swapped narcotics for so called legal (prescription drugs).
Austin is using Sophia you silly fangirl, she gets plenty of attention solo.
ITA.
And for all the hell we know that was a pr plant as well, we know People uses them all the time, to make it look like Austin was out with someone other than Austin his first day back in LA.
There is no PR need for that, Austin and Jake spending time together or apart won't change a thing for people who care about TT and GG.
Holy mole, first time on here today and I see I've been immortalized into posting anonymmously. That's awesome.
You know what is so sad? I used to love Heath. You could go back and find numerous posts by myself on both here and on OMG and I was slobbering all over the place about him and the Ledgerection picture.
I used to love Brokeback. Hell, I even write fanfiction about it.
But I don't live it. Thus, I don't participate on here when your discussion revolves around it - guaranteed.
You know what? Next time you want to accuse me of phantom blogging, why don't you come look me up over on OMG and bring it up to me there?
12:51 PM #2,
please explain how every publicity whore in Hollywood uses "look, I have a boyfriend" routine to get more press and tabloid attention, and how only Sophia Bush doesn't need publicity and how only Sophia Bush gets more press solo than coupled with Austin.
But I don't live it.
What does that mean? Does it mean that you live J&A, for example?
I think until Casablanca says TT and GG are over, Jaustinites will believe it's still on.
I wonder what will happen when Jake will get a boyfriend and we’ll find out about it. Will the Jaustinites kill themselves or will they try to spin it any which way and say it’s just PR? lol
Who knows, but there will be one blog that will be pretty redundant *cough* OMG *cough*
Prima Donna
...a monkey randomly bashing the keys on a typewriter for an infinite period of time will sooner or later produce an understandable text, perhaps even a masterwork, because of the presence of infinity. Similarly, if you place a random pop singer with a limitless ego and curious absence of talent in front of a blank score sheet, you could in time end up with an opera. Sadly composer Rufus Wainwright did not have infinity in which to create such a masterpiece, so chose instead to deliver us an opera so witheringly banal and mediocre, that you are left absolutely convinced that an apathetic chimpanzee could have managed something better.
Prima Donna is unquestionably the poorest opera I have ever seen. In a conversation afterwards I was asked whether one ought to give Wainwright some credit for the actual creative process. The (mercifully) short answer is no. We must judge the value of the work by the end result, not by the effort which has gone into creating it.
The reality is any misguided fool could sit down and write an opera, a symphony, a ballet or a musical if they really wanted to do so; however few of us actually have the ability to translate enthusiasm into a great work. In Wainwright’s case, I see no evidence of any talent for this genre of music at all. The entire work is a shameless and pointless pastiche of the works of Strauss, Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, Meyerbeer, Thomas and practically every other composer you can think of. However, it is not even a convincing pastiche, instead it merely rifles through the ideas of other composers, printing an insipid stain of their musical identity upon his vapid score.
Oh dear. LOL?
1:02 PM - Sophia is much better known. She brought Austin into the show and he sure needs her more than vice versa. But yeah, they both do get more attention when together.
I think until Casablanca says TT and GG are over, Jaustinites will believe it's still on.
Not even father Ted can break Jaustin because they're totally soulmates, duh! Together forever.
OT - Bad Review
I was like 'WTF, what kind of PoP review is this?', lol.
No more operas for Rufus Wainwright!
You might be here, queer, and demanding everyone get used to it, but as Broadway (and burgeoning television) star Cheyenne Jackson tells Thomas Roberts, your parents have a bit of mourning to do. And that's okay! Just give 'em some time.
Cheyenne Jackson talks about his coming out
Obama backing off his promises? He's only been in office for two year. He's the only President that has done anything for LGBT rights, or even made any kind of promise at all.
The only thing I can see that he has done is sign the decree about hospital visiting rights. A bone thrown to the gay community after he started backing off on repealing DADT this year--something he has apparently been privately telling people like the head of HRC. There was an article inthe Advocate last week for anyone who wants the details.
And if nothing is done this year, then you can probably kiss goodbye anything with the word gay in it, because it is quite likely that the Republicans will re-take the House this November. So it may be now or never.
Finally, our "fierce advocate" has his justice department filing all kinds of very ugly briefs opposing every gay plaintiff in lawsuits brought involving the federal government. It even told one court it didn't have to honor it's order directing the government to give the partner of a lesbian worker benefits. Sounds downright Bush-like.
Even though I don't think Heath was an addict, I do think he was a drug user.
Sure, he freely admitted to smoking pot regularly and he was also a tobacco smoker. But someone here always tries to paint him as a raving junkie. He said in interviews for Candy that he'd never done heroin. He also gave weed up and even cut out wine in the last year of his life. Hence reliance on anti-depressants and sleeping pills to deal with his stress. He was far from perfect.
The only thing I'd bet the bank on was that Heath had no interest in getting to know Jake's "girlfriend."
Patrick Bateman said it best.
LOL. Perfect.
^^^ Queerty comment:
"When Cheyenne got cast in the movie about the plane that went down in PA on 911, during the interviews he would talk about how upsetting it would be if his "Wife or Girlfriend" were in that situation. My mouth dropped open because I had known for a while that he was an openly gay broadway actor, but he hopped right back in the closet furing that time. He later tried to blame both that and the fact that he wouldn't do interviews with any gay publications on a supposedly anti-gay publicist, but his publicist wasn't the one talking about his "Wife or Girlfriend". Very dissappointing back then. he seems to be more open now about his new role, hopefully that will continue."
omglol. I can't remember what the thing was with Jake and coke and penis, but Pam Grier explains some things in her new memoir.
...[The doctor] said, "Pam, I want to tell you about an epidemic that's prevalent in Beverly Hills right now. It's a buildup of cocaine residue around the cervix and in the vagina. You have it. Are you doing drugs?"
"No," I said, astonished.
"Well, it's really dangerous," he went on. "Is your partner putting cocaine on his penis to sustain his erection?"
"No," I said, "not that I know of. It's not like he has a pile of cocaine next to the bed and he dips his penis in it before we have sex." I had a nauseating flash of one of Richard's famous lines: Even my dick has a cocaine jones.
"Are you sure he isn't doing it in the bathroom before he comes to bed?" the doctor asked.
"That's a possibility," I said. "You know, I am dating Richard Pryor."
"Oh, my God," he said. "We have a serious problem here. If he's not putting it on his skin directly, then it's worse because the coke is in his seminal fluid."
The doctor then asks her if her mouth went numb while performing oral sex on Pryor, which she says it did, and which he links to the Novocaine-like effects of cocaine.
*Fuck!*
That's when he asked the girl to snort cocaine from his penis, right? Why does a young, viril man use coke to sustain his errection when he has sex with a woman? ;)
I don't believe any of that - even the military itself is saying the time is right for repeal of DADT.
The Pentagon took a giant step toward integrating openly gay men and women into the U.S. military on Thursday. No, it didn't repeal 1993's "Don't ask, don't tell" law — only Congress can do that. But it did something that could be almost as important: it eased the enforcement of that law by loosening the regulations that have been used to snare 13,500 gays — and boot them out of uniform — since 1994. "These changes will allow us to execute the law in a fair and more appropriate manner," Defense Secretary Robert Gates said. The revised regs "provide a greater measure of common sense and common decency to a process for handling what are difficult and complex issues for all involved."
The new rules require a senior officer — a general or admiral — to approve the ouster of a serviceman or -woman for being gay. That's at least one rank higher than earlier mandated, and is likely to cut down on the number of such cases. Hearsay will no longer be allowed, and statements about a military member's sexual orientation will have to be given under oath. Furthermore, information given to lawyers, clergy or medical professionals — or in connection with domestic violence — can't be used to oust someone.
It's Act 2 in the Obama Administration's three-act drama to keep the President's campaign pledge to lift the ban. The first act came last month when Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, told Congress he had no problem with gays in uniform. With Mullen's backing, Gates on Thursday took the next step by relaxing enforcement of the ban. The final act — getting Congress to repeal the law — is months, if not years, away.

Enforcing DADT? Don't Bother
Missed this, did we? This is a big step forward.
Jake: "I'm the center of attention here. Got it, Ang?"
Ang: "Whatever!"
Jake Nasty
;)
One of his old gfs--the one he followed to the states was Lisa Zane, who was 17 years older than Heath
LOL, before that one there was an Australian woman Heath supposedly had a love child with when he was 17. It turned out the kid is not his but wow, was he a busy little stud at such a young age.
Jake (thinking): "Is his bigger than mine?"
Jake studying
Talk of Heath is always so Zen. :)
Kinder bigotry
Chair of Senate Armed Services Committee says Obama doesn't want to repeal DADT this year
Advocate Article on Obama and backing off on DADT
It turned out the kid is not his but wow, was he a busy little stud at such a young age.
Really? I thought the woman refused to do a DNA test for some reason? But yeah, the kid is probably not Heath's.
Early in the year, multiple sources say some administration officials counseled the president against acting on the military’s gay ban in 2010. Still, Obama included his intention to end the policy in his State of the Union address, saying, “This year, I will work with Congress and our military to finally repeal the law…”
Multiple sources? Who are they? Sound like US Weekly gossip to me. The facts are that progress is being made, slowly, but still being made, under Obama. It's historic.
Facts, not opinion pieces disguised as facts. Oh wait . . .
Jake:" I look too good for my own good. Damn!"
I'm too sexy
Destiny, I think you need to read a little more of that staid, mainstream press and news a little more to form a balanced opinion.
To be fair, Obama wasn't the one who put DADT in place, and it isn't going to end overnight. He is working to end it. He's inherited a lot to deal with, and has done a lot in a short time, IMO.
Jake: "Not sure you are worth my company, Nat"!
Natalie: "And now?"
Jake: "Yeah, you work it girl!"
pose like never before
I'm too busy watching Goldmann-Sachs get raked over the coals by Congress. Hooray!!!
pose like never before
I love smart girls :)
Jake: "I'm the center of attention here. Got it, Ang?"
Ang: "Whatever!"
LMAO!
Jake was probably there with a civilian (friend, boyfriend or hook up, who knows?)
Guy is probably a babysitter hired by PR/Disney.
3:39 PM, you meant to say Jake's babysitter/fuck buddy, right?
If Jake has people to shop for him, why is he always spotted at Farmers markets? And for someone that likes to cook, he is always seen eating out, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Fatticus eats everything in the house.
LOL :)
if he wants to save time and stay in bed with some guy on Friday,
Noooo, that's how I get them to leave. "I gotta do errands so you have to go now."
Fuck you. I'm not fat I just have a thick coat.
Pfttt!
Why do gay men only go for guys out of their league?
I used to manage a bar and we used to get a kick out of the fact that there would be 50 average guys, who were chasing 25 good looking guys, who were ignoring them due to the fact that the 25 good looking guys were busy chasing 12 HOTT guys who were ignoring the 25 good looking guys due to the 12 HOTT guys trying to pick up the 2 guys that looked like Bel-Ami pornstars, who were ignoring the 12 HOTT guys cuz theye were a couple and were not looking to pick anyone up!!!
prairegirl, don't take things personally, even when they get personal with you ;)
Sometimes, we anonymous posters have fun teasing you, but i bet the majority of us love your posts here and on OMG very much

Do you know the “unidentified male friend” code the MSM uses for gay males?
We’re not aware of the MSM doing this with women, but with closeted gay men, the term “unidentified male friend” is code for letting readers know, without spelling it out for them, that whatever guy the story’s about is gay…and so gay it’s an open joke amongst those who cover him on their journalistic beat. They don’t do this with guys who are so closeted that few in or out of the business know what they are up to — or are so well-liked by those covering them that they’ll never be outed no matter what they do (see: a certain star of many recent comedies, who remains on a hot career hot streak, sham marriage and all).
Wentworth Miller, former star of the TV series Prison Break, is clearly dating Luke McFarlane, who plays gay chef Scotty on Brothers & Sisters. Miller continues to deny he’s gay, but goes to Farmer’s Markets and craft fairs with McFarlane…who’s been described as just his “basketball buddy” or “farmer’s market friend”. Straight men don’t go to farmer’s markets together. They mostly don’t go there alone or with women, either. And craft fairs. Please.
Miller’s in the news, mainly, these days because he’s gained about 70-80 pounds since Prison Break went off the air. He was buff, tatted-up, and shaved bald for that role, and when his show was canceled he let his hair grow back and stopped working out.
There isn’t a way to convey how bizarre a concept that is to guys in Boystown, where looks are absolutely everything. There are gyms here open 24 hours a day — and they are packed at all hours — because even guys who work in cubicles need to be shirtless supermen when they hit the bars, always feeling immense pressure to compete in a youth-and-looks-driven culture…in a gayborhood a few miles square, and less than an inch deep.
Once you work hard enough to look like Miller in the shot to the left, you spend the rest of your life maintaining that look, knowing you can never have pizza or cake again. Otherwise, you become a pariah to all those who fawn over you now.
What’s interesting to us is that the article in Mail Online that ragged on Miller for his weight could have stopped with the photo above, which clearly shows the poundage he put on. Notice how it’s just a shot of him, walking somewhere, compared to a shot from the show clearly highlighting the weight gain.
So, the article could have ran with just this one shot and made its point.
BUT…Daily Mail ran TWO photos in the story, adding this shot to the mix as well:
We’re pretty sure the guy in blue is Luke McFarlane from Brothers & Sisters (who is openly gay). It sure looks like him.
Daily Mail doesn’t say who it is walking with Miller, and doesn’t allude to them being anything more than “friends”, but it seems to be sort of an inside joke with the MSM.
A straight actor wouldn’t be photographed with another guy walking somewhere. The photogragher could very easily crop a shot like this to have Miller alone on the street — so why show the other guy?
Look for this sort of thing to happen with Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew McConnaugHEYGIRL, John Travolta, David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry, Elijah Wood, and other male actors still in the closet. The MSM doesn’t do it to Tom Cruise, mainly because it looks like they’re all afraid of either him suing them or Scientologists cutting the brakes in reporters’ cars (Scientology is the Islam of peaceful reactions when it comes to defending its high profile members…and outing Cruise is like drawing a picture of Muhammed to these zealots).
We’re not aware of the MSM doing this with politicians, but elected officials are mostly only photographed at official functions…and not in places like MiniBar here in Boystown or the Green Iguana in Florida, where 99.9% of the people in the bar have no idea who that guy in the blue blazer is.
The “unidentified male friend” game has been played for years. We can think of many instance of Ricky Martin frollicking on various beaches in a little black Speedo, accompanied merrily by an “unidentified male workout buddy”. Rock Hudson, Tony Curtis, Tab Hunter, Troy Donahue, Montgomery Clift, Tony Perkins, Billy Hayes, and others in the past all “hung out” with all sorts of “unidentified male friends” all the time. Until about a week ago, Leonardo DiCaprio lived with “male friend” Lukas Haas, who used to be a semi-famous actor himself. Why two grown men in Hollywood would be “roommates”, when one makes more than enough money to live on his own, in his 30s, is just beyond us. But, this week, Haas moved out, and the various entertainment magazines reported it as “DiCaprio’s in love! He’s jumping up and down on couches in love, with a woman, and she’s moving in so friend and roommate Haas is moving out”.
Right.
More like, someone ran some focus group testing on DiCaprio and saw his bankability as a leading man is suffering, so he needs to to paired up with a Mimi Rogers/Nicole Kidman/Katie Holmes/Kelly Preston/Carole Rome of his own.
All of this is interesting because it fits into the larger picture that the MSM is constantly lying to us about something.
Sometimes it’s trivial things, like hiding who’s gay, or winking at us who has a “male friend” that’s more than what they are letting on.
More often then not, though, the MSM is deliberately misrepresenting facts and creating the narrative it wants to tell. What you read in the newspapers and hear on the air is largely fiction. It is a parallel reality presented the way the people in the editor’s room and the sound booth want it presented.
Surprisingly enough to some, the people who write the entertainment stories went to the same journalism schools that the more serious “news” reporters went to. They are products of the same system, students of the same teachers. They employ the very same methods and equally play it fast and loose with the truth.
Remember that the next time you read anything in the MSM — and always ask yourself what ISN’T the article telling you, along with what cute little inside jokes or unintentional slips these reporters drop that give their games away.
Do you know the “unidentified male friend” code the MSM uses for gay males?
Until about a week ago, Leonardo DiCaprio lived with “male friend” Lukas Haas, who used to be a semi-famous actor himself.
What?!
Destiny I think some progress is being made under Obamas administration. I dont think DADT will be gone before mid terms but hopefully somewhere between the mid terms and the Presidental Election it will be history. I think Obama will in the long run keep his promise.
I am certain Jake will be in the forefront leading the charge to repeal DADT. He is such a friend of the Gay Community. Yeah when he wanted their money. Jake kisses the asses who feed him.
It was straight women that made BBM $$$ for the most part, hey were the ones that saw it over and over. The gay community didn't support him in Zodiac and Rendition, so that's not his base.
That Hillbuzz site is a right-wing scuzzy site run by self-loathing Log cabin scum
Zora says Hi!
"I am certain Jake will be in the forefront leading the charge to repeal DADT. He is such a friend of the Gay Community. Yeah when he wanted their money. Jake kisses the asses who feed him.".
Exactly. Just look at his pretty eyes and furry abs, right? God, I'm going to be sick.
I'm going to spend my PoP money on iTunes instead. At least I won't have to listen to some superficial, closted jerk lecture me about how important it is for women to find men and men to find women!
It was straight women that made BBM $$$ for the most part, hey were the ones that saw it over and over.
Gay people did that too - gay community supported BBMt and Jake.

Babblers are saying that Disney does not expect POP to do that well in the US.
God for once I hope the Babblers are right. If this movie is a success Oh my Godot and Waiting for Toothy should just shut the doors cause Jake is never coming out. If he has a kid he will raise him behind the iron curtain.
The babblers got their information from boxoffice.com among other sites.
You need to check out other blogs
No need to check anything, who cares about babblers and their bullshit.
Zora is hott!
Cheyenne is HOT!
Shut up sluts!
Straight men don’t go to farmer’s markets together. They mostly don’t go there alone or with women, either.
Huh? Straight men don’t go to farmer’s markets with women? Bullshit.
Daddy please call up Cheyenne and make a playdate with Zora for me, okay?
Not okay.
I dunno what you and Zora's Daddy can do while we're in my bedroom playing but please remember all the times on location I have to wait patiently for you when you're working. You can make the sacrifice hanging out with Zora's Daddy for me for once.
So he tells People:
"Not only is Skarsgard spontaneous, he's also comfortable in his own skin – a good thing, considering the amount of nudity on True Blood. The actor says he doesn't mind removing his clothes, despite being teased about it occasionally by his five brothers and one sister. 'I'm not a prude at all,' he says. 'I shot a very, very graphic scene two days ago with a man. I am from Sweden, and it's different there. If it makes sense, I'll just do it. And to me, so far, it's made sense every single time I've got naked or made out on the show.'"
Check out the first of a series of True Blood mini-sodes that will air leading up to the show's premiere, in which Eric and Pam audition new dancers for the vampire bar Fangtasia, ...
Towleroad
So that Hillbuzz crap is homophobic too. Surprise, surprise. :(
What's homophobic about 'Do you know the “unidentified male friend” code the MSM uses for gay males?' article?
It's homophobic, to me, to pick out a random guy whose with some actor and assume he's his lover or partner without knowing anything else, and make it sound like a media conspiracy. These people sound like wingnuts.
Speculating about someone being gay is NOT an insult, there is nothing homophobic about it.
