What defense? WDW Kate was trashed on WFT2 for supporting Reeke and someone claimed that she believes Jake is gay. That was all.
If you check out her very first post on WDW, April 2007 think it looks just like a OMG post.
At the time she had fantasies of doing some Jake biography and hopefully meeting him like the JW girls so she changed her tune, publically anyway.
She used the JW to get some info, and they actually did have soem contacts in L.A. like the fact that Jake went to France with Armstrong, they knew that ahead of time, but she had a falling out with them over what type of gossip that could be posted on the JW forum. She left in a huff proclaiming that no one will tell her what type of gossip that she could post and she flew away on her broom.

The pic is of him and Jake with their faces close together..the guy is young and well, he looks happy and gay! Anyway there was a note the guy wrote, either under the pic or in the hidden notes, I can't remember, that said that Jake REALLY liked him. I have the pic but not a screenshot of the note (shit! I should have thought of it at the time), I even have the pic's id# which is #25199434_2f4542efc2 if anyone knows how to look up a pic in Flickr by using the pic number (I tried). I looked for the guy's page on Flickr but I can't find it. Maybe he closed it or I'm having a brain freeze trying to remember the words he used, for a google search. A common refrain heard over the first few days of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival continues to be "is it special?" And while this commentator has seen strong performances across the board, hardly any of the films so far could be called "special." That's changed today with the debut of Derek Cianfrance's "Blue Valentine."
A lyrical and passionate portrait of the ups and downs of a relationship between a late twentysomethings couple (we assume), "Valetnine" features absolutely stunning performances by leads Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. In fact, in terms of screen time it might be the best thing either actor has done to this point.

I find weird that a babbler sent a "Jake and Reese were real" question now when the bearding is over. Is it retroactive bearding or to counterattack some info that will come up?
Do you remember when a day after the latest Jake and Austin biking pics, one of the babblers (FL?) created a blog named “Jake is straight” but later deleted it. I kid you not! Someone made a screencap of the blog appearing on a Google search.

Babblers are worried about the abrupt end of Reeke when they so in love and so ready to get married.
What I don't get is why, image-siwse, everyone thinks it is okay and good for the kids to have mom's "boyfriend" move in only to get kicked to the curb a year or so later. No divorced mom who really cares about her kids would start living with someone like that unless they were damn sure they wanted to be in for the long haul.
And yes, I know they didn't really live together. I'm talking about the image/stories pushed.
Not that anyone seems to give enough of a crap about Reese to even think about these things. :-D
