I was just looking through People's Sexiest Man issue. How many of the drool-worthy guys pictured in that issue are something other than hetero? Adam Lambert is one, so two or three? Four? More than five? Or would it be easier and less litigious for me to ask you which ones are straight as an arrow?

I like ONTD. Just because many don't like Portman there, it's not automatically a bad blog.
It might be a good thing that filming has just finished on the new movie Love And Other Drugs, starring Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Jake, 28, is currently dating Reece Witherspoon while Anne is seeing actor Adam Shulman – but with 3,000 miles between Anne and her man, it was left to Jake to help her celebrate her 27th birthday recently.
‘Jake and Anne have been getting on really well in Pittsburgh where they are filming,’a source said. ‘They have been spending a lot of time with each other off screen and Jake surprised Anne with a special dinner party in his trailer for just the two of them as a birthday treat.’
The pair starred in the 2005 hit Brokeback Mountain, in which they played husband and wife. ‘They have had to film a lot of love scenes so the ice has definitely been broken,’ added the source.

One of the reasons Mr. Gyllenhaal had such a hard time getting work after Brokeback was that he waited for an Oscar nomination because he wanted more money. Of course he will do some Indies but he will do anything he has to to get the big payday like he did for PoP.
Please Reeke PR would never use this as an excuse to end Reeke. Reese dumped a second time for another younger woman? Hell would freeze over before Reese allowed that. When Reeke ends it will be because Reese wants it to.
Of course he will do some Indie type films. Those are the films that bring you prestigious awards like the Globes or the Oscars. Films like PoP make you rich. Jake is such a phonie.

Gyllenhaal, who plays a grown up juvenile delinquent in the film, spent time with convicted drug smugglers and murderers in an effort to determine what life behind bars for a teenager is like – and he admits the experience has changed his life forever.
He met with 18 year olds who are serving life sentences and others who have since been freed and are trying to get their lives in order. One such teen, Victor, made such an impact on Gyllenhaal and director Jim Sheridan, they cast him in the film. As long as Jake is associated with Reese it doesn't matter what he does. He can do Indie films, big budget films or cartoons, Reese will always overshadow him. He has succeeded in being known as Reese's boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. Any interview that Jake does Reese is the elephant in the room. He tried to get rid of gay rumors and now he's just viewed as pussy whipped Mr. Witherspoon.

The reeke is real believers just need to sit back and think about it. It is all just too convenient to be real. Jake and his PR company know some people have that figured out. They must hate it.

Robert Pattinson who? The man of the hour this week, for better or for worse, was Adam Lambert, whose undiscriminating use of both male and female private parts while he wailed "For Your Entertainment" at the AMAs got people talking. Not to mention clucking, finger-wagging and grandstanding.
But such is what happens in a relatively slow week when most people are rushing back to the market for that one essential Thanksgiving item they forgot.

The Parent Television Council's favorite new punching bag went from mildly controversial American Idol runner-up to conservative lightning rod overnight, following his any-crotch-goes performance at the 2009 American Music Awards. Other things happened, too, including a posthumous win for Michael Jackson, a Whitney Houston comeback, and another spate of Taylor Swiftian triumphs. Hell, Jennifer Lopez fell onstage! But at this rate, no one's going to remember anything but Lambert's closing number, which got him tsk-tsked on The View, dropped by Good Morning America and lambasted by people who still haven't figured out how to get their poor, impressionable babies to bed by 10:45 p.m. on a school night. Lambert's supporters have pointed out that Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera were selling malleable sexuality in prime time—usually while wearing even less, and at an even younger age than the 27-year-old suit-favoring stunner—years ago. Lambert himself said it flat out: "I think it's because I'm a gay male and people haven't seen that before."

I think he bonded with her during BBM and because of what they've been through then (particularly Heath's death--unlike Reese, Anne can probably be VERY sympathetic), the bond is stronger. But I just see them as friends.

All love the Anne but Jake is gay keep dreaming about that union. The breakup was obviously planned in advance if it's true. Just think about the timing. Jake is promoting Brothers and will have his first bigger interviews in YEARS. What a great way to divert all questions about the beard. Since they just broke up it's all too raw to bring up in interviews. Jake was a chicken three years ago and he still is.
Anne is one of the few actresses I'd LOVE to see him with. She's a REALLY good egg--has a big heart and is HUGELY gay-friendly. HUGELY. And she's a Heath fan (and Michelle too). ITA. I think this is a PR planned move with Reese's OK. Jake's a bad liar. Breaking up now let's him off the hook during Brothers promo interviews. Bet they do reconcile in a few weeks after all Brothers work is done. Then they can start the promo Jake is straight work for POP. Bet they break up again when POP promo interviews begin so Jake gets off the hook again.

You know what else is suspicious about that People article. They say that the rumors startd of them dating in 2007 but were confirmed when they were seen vactioniing in Paris in 2008. They seem to forget that they confirmed them in 2007 and the Rome pics in October 2007 which they purchased several for thier "exclusive". It's a sloppy announcement probably because it was done on a holiday weekend and by a lazy intern but IMO it was done in haste so Jake wouldn't have to answer questions this week. That's why the wording is vague.
If it was done properly it would be: He wanted to get married and she didn't, etc. That may be coming but they were anxious to get it out before the week started IMO.
