One source told us that Jacobs and his Brazilian lover, Lorenzo Martone, want the nuptials to be a private affair with a guest list of zero. But like everything in the fashion world, no matter how exclusive the event, "there will be an after-party," according to our insider.
Weren't Reeke taking pics with Marc Jacobs and bf at Kate Hudson's Halloween party 2 years ago? Maybe they'll all go to the wedding afterparty! That is if Disney will allow Jake to be around anyone who's gay and if so, how much public pda he has to perform with his beard.
Never stated that just because they were at the party that they are friends. Said MAYBE. MAYBE means possibility. The possibility that Reeke is friends with Marc Jacobs is much greater than you being with friends with him, seeing as how Reeke was seen talking to Marc Jacobs at a party and you were not.

The Toronto International Film Festival has always welcomed big-name stars for the 10-day fest, but this year there's a touch of royalty in the mix: the queen of daytime TV, the king of after dark and a former member of Britain's royal family.
Oprah Winfrey, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York are among the hundreds of fest guests announced yesterday by TIFF as it released its final line-up. In all, 335 films from 64 countries will screen Sept. 10-19, including 271 feature-length films, 72 per cent of which are world, international or North American premieres. ... The Director Talks About Working with Heath Ledger On the Set of Brokeback Mountain
One of the opening shots in Taking Woodstock, the new film from the director of Brokeback Mountain, shows a field covered with wild thyme in a brilliant lavender, but it was not necessarily intended to be a whiff of gay things to come. “It does look very gay,’’ admits James Schamus, director Ang Lee’s longtime collaborator. “Very gay shot.’’
It’s sometimes hard to tell if Schamus is kidding or not.
One thing he definitely was not kidding about: certain comments in the August issue of Vanity Fair about Heath Ledger’s working relationship with Lee during the making of Brokeback Mountain. “I found those comments to be pretty offensive,” the ordinarily affable Schamus declares.
Schamus and Lee were in San Francisco on a press tour for Taking Woodstock, their bittersweet comedy with a gay main character that takes place entirely on the sidelines of the legendary music festival 40 years ago. The film opens Aug. 28 in San Francisco.
In the Vanity Fair article about the last year and a half of Ledger’s life, an account based on director Terry Gilliam “and other insiders,’’ the magazine said Ledger found the Brokeback shoot “difficult.’’ Ledger’s agent Steve Alexander said the late actor “thought Ang Lee was an incredible director, but Ang is a taskmaster and he doesn’t coddle his actors. He pushes them until they give him what he’s after. It wasn’t what Heath was used to, but it obviously worked.’’
Gilliam claimed that Ledger “was looking for a father figure and that’s why it was difficult . . . because Ang Lee is not a father figure. That’s why he (Ledger) felt very isolated there.’’
Gilliam is the director of Ledger’s last, not yet released film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. When Ledger died of the effects of a combination of prescription drugs, different aspects of his unfinished role were completed by several actors (Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin O’Farrell).
Says Schamus: “You know this is another director kind of claiming a mantle of a relationship with Heath that was lovely and beautiful, and I truly respect it, but the bottom line is that the love, the respect for the work that Heath delivered (on the Brokeback set) is part of that experience. There was so much love on that set for Heath. It was a difficult part. When he goes in to embrace his role, he embraced it one hundred million percent.’’
Whoa! Back up a little. “Taskmaster’’? Isn’t a director sometimes required to be a taskmaster? (Lee won the Academy Award for best director, and Ledger was nominated as best actor.)
The soft-spoken but firm Lee says he has not seen the Vanity Fair article, but “I think when I deal with actors, I give them my best. Whatever it takes to get there. With an actor, you share things with him or her, things you don’t even share with your family. It’s so private that sometimes the darkest side of the character is always vulnerable. It’s very specific and very strange territory. You have to be very careful. I was hyper when I deal with them.’’
Hyper? “Yeah, you’re in an altered state. You’re giving your best.’’
Interjects Schamus: “I think you mean heightened.’’
Lee gestures with both hands to the top of his head. “You’re in a different state. You’re very alert. You’re in a different zone. When I share that with somebody, I’m giving them my best. I think that’s all there is. Some of them find it’s hard but some of them find it’s very precious. But everything is on the screen. That doesn’t disappear. When he passed away, that’s how I calmed myself down. That document. That’s pretty brave and that’s not going to fade away. That’s how I want to remember him. That’s how I worked with him, and that was it.’’ ... article
Can you imagine how offended Michelle probably is? Maybe she didn't know how Heath felt about their relationship even during BBM promo? Those were things Heath confided in Terry Gilliam. Some things Terry really should have kept to himself.
But everything is on the screen. That doesn’t disappear. When he passed away, that’s how I calmed myself down. That document.
My (((((Ang)))) hug was because of this comment. I don't know about the TG comments, TG seems to be a guy who says what he thinks, no apologies, and you gotta admire that sometimes. I don't think it's a reflection on Ang at all.
Earth to Doug Liman : Stop spinning the press, and finish the fricking script! With professional allies like Liman, who needs enemies?
Given how few people (ie. none besides Mom, Liman and Wither, Inc.) we saw with Jake during the MV visit, it looks like the Chilmark race organizers were more interested in Jake's appearance than anyone else on MV. Like I said before : bearding giveth and bearding taketh away.
Maybe they didn't have time until now to really start working on the project?
12 years.
I have to say that this project is a labor of love for director Doug Liman — it goes back to 1997 or so — and I wrote the second and third drafts of the screenplay, which was then called Three Days Out, for Doug and Polygram Filmed Entertainment, and then also worked with you and Doug last year developing an updated version of the screenplay for Paramount. And it’s gone through a lot of iterations
Still when you think about it, 3 months to make a 2 hour movie. If you compared it to a regular job: 8 hours a day x 5 days a week = 40 hours. 40 hours x 12 weeks = 480 hours (and that's per person, in a crew). Say a crew of 200, 200 x 480 hours = 96,000 hours. 96,000 hours to shoot a 2 hour movie!!
No, I mean at MV. No pics, MAYBE 1 twitter (if at all) IIRC, and the only other 2 or 3 "mentions" of Poon being on MV was by MV gossip columnists, saying she was "sighted" by 3rd parties..uh huh. Sounds like PR bullshit to me.
BBM was on such a tight budget that the director of photography played the Mexican Whore in the Alley! Also it was considered an indy and the stars weren't that well known. OTOH the Drug movie now has a diva cast, Jake and Anne!
BBM was on such a tight budget that the director of photography played the Mexican Whore in the Alley! Also it was considered an indy and the stars weren't that well known. OTOH the Drug movie now has a diva cast, Jake and Anne!
"Give me a break! Maybe they didn't have time until now to really start working on the project?"
Jake has been talking up this bloody script for 2 1/2 years! What the hell are they doing? Rewriting 2001? Are they channeling Kubrick's masterpiece? No. This script has been delayed *for years* not because it's complicated, or because Liman didn't have time, but because Jake's little project is a *very, very, very* low priority for Liman and his buddies. Either Jake needs to get better writers and chuck Liman's team or throw them more cash. At this rate, the sequel to Sex and the City 2 will come out before the Untitled Moon Movie project.
Stop making fricking excuses for Liman. In spite of all the schmoozing in MV and sophomoric spin in that article, it's clear now that Jake's project has *never* been, and may not ever be, a high priority for Liman.
IMO the kids were shipped off with the nanny to MV without Reese and weren't in the care of Jake or even Naomi. Probably stayed at a relative's or with a friend and their kids for a 1 or 2 nite sleepover and the race.
philly pap twitter: someone is obsessed with my blog and doing search after search with words regarding last nites entry www.PhillyChitChat.com about 1 hour ago from web
Actually Jake may be making a smart move by producing the moon movie. If he can't get to be A list after 3years of bearding and making bad choices maybe he can get to be A list by producing movies.
"You are making search after search on his blog and commenting"
I just checked his blog. He has 14 comments and the last one was made almost 3 hours ago. His twitter with the reference that someone is doing searched was done 1 hour ago. So what you're accusing me/us of doing, searching and commenting, doesn't make sense.
What would make sense is if you go back to Babble and never come trolling here again, but noooooo you could never do that! LOL!
GB always posts Reeke news and links first because UV and FL are on their computers 24/7 waiting for Google Alerts on anything related to Reese and her bf. But just because they post first doesn't mean everyone else is copying from their site, LOL. Other people get the same Alerts with the same info. They just don't have a compulsion to jump on it and post it the minute it shows up, unlike the abnormally-obsessed Babble.
Avon Walk was on Live Journal and ONTD, Blind was on Crazy Nights, Kevin Smith story has been in circulation for years. Troll thinks WFT is the ONLY group that ever reads those sites, WFT is the ONLY group that can't stand the Chin, WFT is the ONLY group who would ever post anything negative about the Chin.
Troll, it's called the "WORLD WIDE Web" for a reason. You need to get out more.
I just realized why trolly is frothing and blubbering. Reeke hasn't had a photo op lately and the trolls need to shout from the rooftops to remind everyone that Reese and her bf are together!

So Duncan Jones is a movie director and David Bowie's son.
Moon is a 2009 science fiction/thriller film about a solitary lunar employee who experiences a personal crisis as the end of his three-year stint nears. It is the feature debut of director Duncan Jones. Sam Rockwell stars as the employee and Kevin Spacey voices his robot companion. Moon premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and was released in selected theatres in New York and Los Angeles on 12 June 2009.
Moon is the first feature film directed by commercial director Duncan Jones, who co-wrote the script with Nathan Parker. The film was specifically written as a vehicle for actor Sam Rockwell. The film pays homage to the films of Jones's youth, such as Silent Running (1972), Alien (1979) and Outland (1981).
Plot Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is an employee contracted by the company Lunar Industries to extract helium-3 from lunar soil for much-needed power back on Earth. He is stationed for three years at the 'Sarang' lunar base with only a robot named GERTY (voiced by Kevin Spacey) for company; a chronic communications failure limits him to only occasional recorded transmissions to and from Earth, such as a video message from his wife Tess and three-year-old daughter Eve. Two weeks before completing his assignment he begins to hallucinate, briefly seeing a teenage girl on the station. During a routine rover excursion to extract helium from a harvesting machine, he sees the same girl standing on the lunar surface. Distracted, he crashes the rover into the harvester. ...
There are a lot of different kinds of producers, some of them finance the project.
"A film producer or movie producer is someone who creates the scenes and conditions for making movies. The producer initiates, co-ordinates, supervises and controls matters such as fund-raising, hiring key personnel and arranging for distributors. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the film-making process from development to completion of a project."
Since they finance the project, they can define the artistic aspect of the production
I wonder if he became producer of the projcet after PoP, when his account probably grew massively? Imagine how much more he'll earn when PoP is released and through merchandise.

Is This the Summer of Death for Movie Stars?
said...
What's happened to America's movie stars in the summer of 2009? A slew of boldface names have opened films this summer and most of them have tanked hard. Some people are blaming Twitter, but the answer is really quite simple.
Brooks Barnes has a piece in today's New York Times pondering this very question. Barnes points out that stars such as Denzel Washington, Julia Roberts, Eddie Murphy, John Travolta, Russell Crowe, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell have all starred in big releases that have flopped in recent weeks, which has left studio executives scratching their heads desperately trying to figure out why the doltish masses aren't consuming what Hollywood is trying to force-feed them, just as they've been doing for years.
"The cratering of films with big stars is astounding," said Peter Guber, the former chairman of Sony Pictures who is now a producer and industry elder statesman. "These supertalented people are failing to aggregate a large audience, and everybody is looking for answers."
Mr. Guber added, "Even Johnny Depp" - starring in the drama "Public Enemies" - "didn't exactly deliver a phenomenal result." (The A-list results may be damped partly because Will Smith, a regular summer powerhouse, had no movie open this season.) Mr. Ferrell bombed in "Land of the Lost," a $100 million comedy that sold only $49 million in tickets in North America. Ms. Roberts missed with "Duplicity," a $60 million thriller that attracted $40.6 million. "Angels & Demons" (Mr. Hanks) was soft. The same for "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" (Mr. Washington and Mr. Travolta). "Imagine That," starring Mr. Murphy, was such a disaster that Paramount Pictures had to take a write-down. Mr. Sandler? His "Funny People" limped out of the gate and then collapsed.
Ha! Well, here's a clue as to what might be wrong: all of the films mentioned here, with the exception of Duplicity, sucked! But of course, their failure to make truckloads of cash is all the fault of modern technology.
"You look around the theater and can see the glow, not on people's faces from watching the movie, but on their chins - from the BlackBerrys and iPhones," said Mr. Guber. "They are immediately telling their friends whether it's worth their time. And the answer to that, more often than not, seems to be no."
So if the big movie star attached to a sub-par product method isn't working at the box office any longer, what's the secret to success? Make a product that's entertaining! The studio heads can sit around and bitch all they want about the internet is destroying their business because I can now blast a tweet from inside of a theater telling everyone how Funny People sucked ass, but that doesn't get to the root of the problem, which is their shitty product. On the flip side, make a movie that entertains people and then they will employ the same online tools to laud it and encourage all of their friends to go see it. You see how that works? Amazing, isn't it?
So how does Hollywood "entertain" people these days? By making films that are well-written and well-acted OR feature storylines that are too fast-moving and complex for most people to understand with massive explosions mixed in every 7 minutes or so. Either make smart films that stimulate and engage the mind or make extreme sensory stimuli films that reduce the mind to a blob of mush tucked inside of a thick skull. That's it. Like I said, it's really quite simple. Either way, just don't suck.
PoP may actually bring in $$. People will go just to get a laugh at Jake's attempt to play the part of the prince. I laugh every time I see a photo of him trying to look threatening. He has the same earnest look for every serious expression.
About Jake allegedly wanting to become a producer.. didn't Ben Afleck start to produce and direct after the Bennifer fiasco?? Maybe he wanted to clean his image a little...
It's so odd if this is the reason, Jake still hasn't reach the point of no return yet(IMO) I still have hopes for that boy ;)
^^I wouldn't be surprised if RW gave him the idea to become one of the producers of the movie. You may disagree, but maybe he listenes to her advises what films to take on?
Everyone will shout now "she's just the beard, he doesn't care what she says". But I'm not sure if he doesn't listen to her. She's a woman that had some acclaimed movies and b.o. hits and her career will probably continue to be decent, so she obviously knows what she's doing. She's a good business woman. (FYI, I'm not a Reese/Reeke fan or a babbler. To get that straight). Just sharing an opinion.
^^Exactly. He's got a mind of his own, probably came to the conclusion on his own, probably has wanted to have creative involvement. He comes from an artistic family. Screenwriters, director, actors, cinematographer?
Shutter Island is delayed. It comes out in half a year. One reason, like we heard for Brothers already, is that a main character (in this case Leo) isn't available to promote the flick.
How many godparents does he have? I know JLC is his real godmother. He seems close to her. Paul Newman was his celeb godfather who taught him to drive a car. So, what kind of godfather is Robers Elswit?
Film Critic Jean Oppenheimer presents actor Jake Gyllenhaal the Cinematography award, which he accepted on the behalf of his godfather, Robert Elswit onstage during the 31st Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards held at the Park Hyatt on January 17, 2006 in Century City, California. Robert Elswit is being honored for his work on the film 'Good Night, And Good Luck'.
It' intersting how close Jake seems to be with his godparents, that's why it's very weird to me that we never hear and see anything that indicates he sees his own godchild. I probably won't care about this in a few years, but right now it makes me really wonder. I mean if it all were a PR lie, it would have come out already, right?
"Robert Elswit, Jake's godfather & family friend."
Elswit might be related like an uncle. He's standing next to Jake in the AMPAS formal group pic when they were inducted into the Academy and IMO they look a lot alike, in features and expressions/carriage.
I recently saw for the 3rd time The River Wild with Meryl Streep and I noticed Elswit did the cinematography on it. The aerial scenes over the river, the underwater scene and just the fast river water was amazing how he did it. He's done a LOT of movies. The guy is A+.
It's sad how I know all the actors names and some directors, but ignorant of any cinematographers or the other people who really matter too. The only reason why I'm aware of Elswit is because of Jake.
Private life can be private. Just think how seldom we hear and see anything that indicates Jake sees Maggie and her family, and how long we have waited for their pictures.

Good guess
Jake needs to lose Reeke and cut his losses ASAP.
I felt like Natalie and Tobey were over-acting, and Jake maybe not knowing what to do, kind of just mugged his way through, at least based on what you could see in the trailer. It didn't look to me like the actors were connecting with each other. Maybe Jake was right to question Sheridan's pushing him to emote more anger.

If only I knew at the time that all it took for Jakey Boy to emote anger were two tiny words "jury duty" I could avoided all the discussions!
Or bring lukewarm latte if you need furious Jake.

Tell Reese that he's going to blab to the tabloids all about what a famewhore using phony bitch she is if you want Real Dead Jake!
LOL. I don't like Natie either, but I usually like Tobey.

MARC JACOBS' WEDDING PLANS
LOUIS Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs is planning to marry his boyfriend in Provincetown, Mass., this weekend. One source told us that Jacobs and his Brazilian lover, Lorenzo Martone, want the nuptials to be a private affair with a guest list of zero. But like everything in the fashion world, no matter how exclusive the event, "there will be an after-party," according to our insider.

What posing for a picture while doing a photo op has to do with anything?
BTW, Reeke weren't at Kate Hudson's 2008 Halloween party.
1:38, because we don't know if they are friends. Duh. Do you think things thru before you ask questions?
Attending some Hollywood party doesn't mean you're friends with the host(s) or other people at the party.
1:38, because we don't know if they are friends.
Why would we presume that they are friends? Because they were at the same party almost 2 years ago?
Never stated that just because they were at the party that they are friends. Said MAYBE. MAYBE means possibility. The possibility that Reeke is friends with Marc Jacobs is much greater than you being with friends with him, seeing as how Reeke was seen talking to Marc Jacobs at a party and you were not.

Geeze I joke around about Reeke going to Marc Jacob's wedding and you all get technical and pissy about it. Lighten up! My god....

The couple plan to wed this weekend in Provincetown, Mass. One source tells Page Six that Marc, 46, and Lorenzo, 30, want the nuptials to be a private affair but “there will be an after-party.” Congrats to the happy couple!

Thanks. I hope Chin won't visit the film set too often. Jeez, I wish she'd go away.
If only! lol
September until early December??? Why so much time to shoot a comedy with sitcom quality? I thought film makers pulled out those kind of shit ASAP!
Ang offended by Gilliam's comments. :(

Why so much time to shoot a comedy with sitcom quality?
That's less than 3 months.
Think about it: 3 MONTHS for a 60 MINUTE movie. And that's just the shooting, not the editing, set building, or location shots. Ridiculous.
That’s how I worked with him, and that was it.’’

"Love and Other Drugs" isn't a 60 MINUTE movie.
(((((((Ang)))))))
Here's to you, Reese!
(((((((Ang)))))))

^^I think Ang is a good guy. I remember Jake said that Heath liked his directors to be father figures, but that Ang wasn't.
But I do believe there was much love for Heath on the set. I mean Michelle and Jake. Both seemed to love him.
Michelle is a vindictive cow
That's just your opinion.

We saw only the Poon's rugrats, not the Bearded Poon. Thank god. I honestly believe she was never there.
Who told you it's a 60 minutes movie?
Oops. I was guesstimating the length to be 2 hours so I put 60 minutes LOL. As you can see I have no sense of time and I'm shitty at math!
12 years.
What are 12 years anyway?
;)
I'm shitty at math!
Yup!
We saw only the Poon's rugrats, not the Bearded Poon. Thank god. I honestly believe she was never there.
You mean at the race?
Still when you think about it, 3 months to make a 2 hour movie. If you compared it to a regular job: 8 hours a day x 5 days a week = 40 hours. 40 hours x 12 weeks = 480 hours (and that's per person, in a crew). Say a crew of 200, 200 x 480 hours = 96,000 hours. 96,000 hours to shoot a 2 hour movie!!
Add 2 hours for makeup and hair per day.
Considering the outdoors scenes, the different locations and all that wasn't Brokeback filmed
in about 1 1/2, 2 months??
3 fucking months to shoot LAOD is too much, i think
You mean at the race?
No, I mean at MV. No pics, MAYBE 1 twitter (if at all) IIRC, and the only other 2 or 3 "mentions" of Poon being on MV was by MV gossip columnists, saying she was "sighted" by 3rd parties..uh huh. Sounds like PR bullshit to me.
No, I mean at MV.
I doubt she'd let her kids go to MV alone with Jake. I think she was there. There was also a People article that said both were at a basketball game.
Brokeback filmed in about 1 1/2, 2 months
BBM was on such a tight budget that the director of photography played the Mexican Whore in the Alley! Also it was considered an indy and the stars weren't that well known. OTOH the Drug movie now has a diva cast, Jake and Anne!
"There was also a People article that said both were at a basketball game."

IA.
LOL!
You can laugh as much you like, but she was there with her kids.
I doubt she'd let her kids go to MV alone with Jake.
Jake went to MV earlier and alone. Kids travel with the nanny.
IMO the kids were shipped off with the nanny to MV without Reese and weren't in the care of Jake or even Naomi. Probably stayed at a relative's or with a friend and their kids for a 1 or 2 nite sleepover and the race.
Kids travel with the nanny.
Why would she not travel with her kids? It doesn't make sense.
"You can laugh as much you like, but she was there with her kids."
You can believe People as much you like! LOL!
Maybe Reese did travel with them, the point is that nanny takes care of the kids.
Either Jake needs to get better writers and chuck Liman's team or throw them more cash.
Or give better blowjobs!
I give the BEST blowjobs!
Add 2 hours for makeup and hair per day
Are those official prep hours or "backgammon" hours?

"You are making search after search on his blog and commenting"
I just checked his blog. He has 14 comments and the last one was made almost 3 hours ago. His twitter with the reference that someone is doing searched was done 1 hour ago. So what you're accusing me/us of doing, searching and commenting, doesn't make sense.
What would make sense is if you go back to Babble and never come trolling here again, but noooooo you could never do that! LOL!
Middle finger pic was originally posted on Philly pap's twitter by the guy who took it. No surprise it made it to the blog.
Good try Troll but I don't go to GB. Face it, there's more people than just us here who dislike your darling Reese! Get over it.
The Babblers are searching searching searching Philly pap's blog for something good that was said about Reese LOL!
Troll is all upset because no one loves his Reese! LOL!

Troll, it's called the "WORLD WIDE Web" for a reason. You need to get out more.
What is the troll's problem?!
troll = drunk Reese
^^ Reese is drunk again.
According to some Twitter research Jake is in LA. Poor Atticus. Reined in, leashed and party's over until the next time his master leaves!
I just realized why trolly is frothing and blubbering. Reeke hasn't had a photo op lately and the trolls need to shout from the rooftops to remind everyone that Reese and her bf are together!

Btw ManMadeMoon is the 2009 "Moon" film director Duncan Jones, aka as Zowie Bowie....yes, exactly.
Plot
Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is an employee contracted by the company Lunar Industries to extract helium-3 from lunar soil for much-needed power back on Earth. Distracted, he crashes the rover into the harvester. ...

Since Jake is one of the producers of the Untitled Moon Project, I have a question. What does a producer do? Finance the project?
Finance the project?
There are a lot of different kinds of producers, some of them finance the project.
"A film producer or movie producer is someone who creates the scenes and conditions for making movies. The producer initiates, co-ordinates, supervises and controls matters such as fund-raising, hiring key personnel and arranging for distributors. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the film-making process from development to completion of a project."

I wonder if he became producer of the projcet after PoP, when his account probably grew massively?
Imagine how much more he'll earn when PoP is released and through merchandise.
^^ Depends on the contract, maybe nothing.
^^I doubt it. He's the main character, he'll get a good percentage of the earnings.
Prince of Persia trademark belongs to Ubisoft. They will sell Prince of Persia merchandise, not Jake Gyllenhaal merchandise.
Jake isn't an true A-lister who could negotiate a percentage of the movie earnings.

Gawker
Mr. Sandler? His "Funny People" limped out of the gate and then collapsed.
LOL
PoP may actually bring in $$. People will go just to get a laugh at Jake's attempt to play the part of the prince. I laugh every time I see a photo of him trying to look threatening. He has the same earnest look for every serious expression.
"I think we owe an apology to Jake - he actually works on something! It is not just reeking, gay web cams and gay sex for Jake! lol"
Jake just took a well deserved break after shooting three films back to back in 2008. Now he's back with new projects.

No, anyone can call himself/herself a producer or be clueless producer like the chin.
No, anyone can call himself/herself a producer or be clueless producer like the chin.
According to imdb she produced Legally Blonde and 4 Christmases.

I wouldn't be surprised if RW gave him the idea to become one of the producers of the movie.
Please, give us a break and stop insulting Jake.
^^Exactly. He's got a mind of his own, probably came to the conclusion on his own, probably has wanted to have creative involvement. He comes from an artistic family. Screenwriters, director, actors, cinematographer?
Who is the cinematographer?
Oscar winning guy who took pictures of Jake and Stephen working on the computer (Cantara)?
"Who is the cinematographer?"
Robert Elswit, Jake's godfather & family friend.
Jake was born in a Hollywood family, he's surrounded by Hollywood people all his life, he has family, friends and acquaintances in the business.
Shutter Island is delayed. It comes out in half a year. One reason, like we heard for Brothers already, is that a main character (in this case Leo) isn't available to promote the flick.

Bad news.
Robert Elswit, Jake's godfather & family friend.
How many godparents does he have? I know JLC is his real godmother. He seems close to her. Paul Newman was his celeb godfather who taught him to drive a car. So, what kind of godfather is Robers Elswit?
The more the merrier!

Jake has a lot of connections in Hollywood. Lucky fellow!
