Great performances apparently, it seems Sheridan cant make up his mind how to finish it. The original version by Blier really is a tough act to follow. Its being test marketed as we speak, and it's still being considered Oscar material. Definitely no laughs, how could there be?

The actor was participating in a charity match outdoors at the Chilmark Community Center, where he played on a five-person team. Earlier in the weekend, Gyllenhaal ran in a 5K race along with Witherspoon's kids, Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5, who took a fun, leisurely approach to the run while he speedily completed it in under 21 minutes!

It's a druggy, Jakey morning. We brought you Prince of Persia and Mr. Nice, and now we bring you Love and Other Drugs, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, and directed by Ed Zwick.
Rather different drugs than Mr. Marks' though, since this is an adaptation (by The Interpreter's Charles Randolph) of Jamie Reidy's light-hearted 2005 tell-all Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman.
The book is about Reidy's experiences as a rep for the giant pharmaceutical company Pfizer, and his expertise at achieving great personal results for as little effort as humanly possible. His realisation that judging each situation on a personal level worked better than sticking to a corporate shpiel got him fired from Pfizer, and the publication of his book got him fired from his next job as a rep trainer at another company.
Presumably the names will be changed to protect the guilty, but Gyllenhaal is on hand as the protagonist, and Hathaway as the Parkinsons Disease sufferer who turns his head. Josh Gad, a semi-regular correspondent on Jon Stewart's Daily Show, has also just been cast as Jake's annoying dot-com entrepreneur brother, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Hathaway's character would appear to indicate a comedy drama that finds a heart later on: selfish guy in awful pharma company falls in love with sick girl. We've seen drama and emotion from Zwick on any number of occasions (Glory, Legends of the Fall, Blood Diamond, Defiance) but it's a long while since we've seen him do funny (About Last Night, 1986). But if the book's humour falls by the wayside, this should still be left with enough in the way of character, moral issues and authority-questioning to keep Zwick interested. Filming starts in September.

That's probably why we got the twitters of Jake supposedly back in Philly, what was it Wednesday and Thursday night? You'd think he'd have stayed in MV, but I guess he had to establish he was with the chin before running off to NYC to see Austin.

The always friendly Sophia Bush goes makeup-less as she arrives back home in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Because Jake's PR tries to plant some Austin is dating rumors does no mean Austin is bearding. Nothing in his behavior suggests he is having a relationship with Sophia, other than being friends and business associates traveling together. For one, if they were dating, he would be pulling the heavier suitcase until she had to check in. Instead she is struggling with it on her own. So, PR, make a note of that for the next effort.
ITA, I think Reeke's pr is behind all this Sophia/Austin speculation. The fact that JJ is the only blog that seems to be running this is pretty telling. We know JJ is Reeke's go-to guy, especially for Reese.

He's spending the bulk of his time in N.C., so why should he leave the dog in L.A., a place he maybe will get to once or twice a month for a weekend. And with Jake spending all his time on the East Coast, it is a lot easier for them to hook up than it is with Jake in L.A.
