Friends and Allies
Kris Allen on his frustration with Christians who wouldn't accept Adam Lambert:
"There [were all these rumors] about how all the conservative, Christian people that would vote for me hate Adam and never want him to win because of who he is. Oh, it was so frustrating — really bad, because we are really good friends. Why can't everyone get along? It never made any sense for me to judge anyone, who they are. It frustrates me that people can't get along with people because of their differences. And I'll tell you what, especially Christians.
Christians have a hard time accepting people like Adam — liberal, from L.A., looks different, maybe acts a certain way. He's a great, great guy. They don't even give him a chance. And it's frustrating because I come from that. A lot of my friends are not that way, which I appreciate, but a lot of people in Arkansas or in the South or wherever are that way. We really hope that our relationship can be an inspiration to people. I could go on about that forever."

Funny about the In Touch Weekly - out today just got back and in Borders - saw the In Touch cover and you know what was missing on it? The Reese wedding dress story. It might be in the mag [it is], but it was in the teasers on the cover, at least the run of the ones up here.
Item: March 2007. Huntington Beach, California. Stephen, tired from a day of shooting a TV show, reads his poetry for a local reading series. At this time he reveals his secret desire to stab Naomi to death with a kitchen knife, not only to the stunned crowd of seniors but to Naomi's father, who is in the audience.
Cuntara is seriously disturbed.

The Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter is about to be known more famously for another film: his own sex tape. Photos and videos are making the web rounds showing Black and an as-yet-unidentified partner (presumably, the tape's leaker, though that's not certain) engaged in condom-less bedroom activities typical of two gay guys.
The tape is being shopped around by agency Starzlife; timestamps show it was recorded in November 2006, well before he was a household name. There are NSFW versions on this website.
Lance is next scheduled to appear in New York City for the Gay Pride Parade, where he's a grand marshal, followed the next day by the Trevor Project's annual NYC fundraising gala. We'd be surprised if he canceled either of those appearances, since they are for gay organizations and, well, gay people are not afraid of other people having gay sex. The condom thing might get him some flack, but maybe this was a committed monogamous relationship?
In the end, this won't doom his career, which is going pretty well of late. He's still writing for Big Love, and his team-up with Gus Van Sant for The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test will further cement Black as a young prodigy.
And also: Lance is hot! Seeing him have sex (with another good looking guy) is not something we can even pretend to make judgments about. In fact: more, please!

But to get back to Naomi. You want to know how this whole thing started between Naomi and me. It started back in spring, 2006 (coincidentally around the time she was dropped from the Grace Metalious project) when my little press acquired her then-husband Stephen Gyllenhaal’s book of confessional poetry—you know, the book of poetry she later mentioned in her goddamn divorce papers. Stephen had sworn up and down to me that his family knew all about his impending book and that Naomi, Jake and Maggie were all “one hundred percent” behind it. April 4, 2006 at 1:35PM Eastern Time Stephen calls me in NY from LA, doesn’t reach me, leaves a callback number. I press it and a mature-sounding woman answers. I recognize the voice, I address her politely as Ms. Foner and ask for Stephen. Her reply below, verbatim:
“How did you get this number?”
“This is our HOME!”
“Don’t ever call here again!”
That pretty much set the tone of our acquaintanceship.

Right now Cantara is desperate for money (she's in foreclosure and also her business has been seized, has no savings account). She'll do anything to get a tell-all book deal.

Tell all book or not Cantara has no clue whether Jake is gay or not. Stephen G is not stupid enough to tell this woman something like that. She most likely has never meet Naomi, Maggie or Jake. What is obvious is that she was in love with SG and got no where. Now she is pissed and wants revenge. She obviously also needs money. The only way this woman can make any money in a book is if she outs Jake. What else about the Gyllenhaal family is interesting. I doubt anyone would buy a book which tells us anything about the rest of the family. Who would care.
Stephen better hire himself a bodyguard and a driver and a food taster.

I have to comment about this Adam Lambert semi-bashing you've been doing lately. Although I can understand your frustration, let's put things into perspective. Idol just ended less than a month ago and Adam has already been seen out and about with his partner and has admitted he'll answer all of our questions in Rolling Stone. That doesn't seem at all like someone who is in the closet or hiding his sexuality. It tells me he's looking for the right opportunity to tell us what we wanna know. As far as I'm concerned, he's eons away from closet cases like Toothy Tile, who have gone so shamefully far as to employ a beard with children and parade around just to get papped and prove he's straight. Who is the true coward, Ted? Go a bit easier on Adam. He'll let his freak flag fly soon enough.
