I think someone is trying to bend the angle about Jake visiting the medical center building to distract and railroad off a track. I'm fascinated by the length, the insistance and depth of the argument that Jake is visiting the medical center for plastic surgery.

After seeing Blue Valentine, I finally 'get' him. I never really thought he was particularly handsome, and never saw his movies other than The Notebook, which I hated.
But he absolutely blew me away in Blue Valentine. He was dirty, sexy, vulnerable, and had LOADS of charisma, even when his character was fat, ugly and balding. Definitely somebody that lights up more on screen than he does in photographs.
He's also exudes a raw sex appeal and a manliness than a lot of popular leading men in Hollywood right now (think Taylor Lautner, Justin Timberlake, Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield) lack.

Re. Gosling appearance. I watched a few minutes of his film with Anthony Hopkins and he sure has leading man potential... sexy, confident and he gives 100% to all his films. He is not a pretty guy, but he doesn't have to be with the other qualities he inhabits.
Jake used to be very good looking in the years between 2002-2005. Yes, he is on the classically good looking side, but let's face it, he is no young Depp or Pitt looks wise to have that extra factor to pull in the audience. He is more Clooney-esque looks wise, which ain't as popular with the ladies as young Pitt/Depp. Even though he's a solid actor, he needs to take risks, give 110% to each role and try to improve. His looks will be fading sooner than later and than it will look really bad for him.

I think the person who wrote Jake may be HIV positive (was it you maybe?) is maybe projecting. Are you HIV positive maybe? If so, I'm sorry about that. But even though Jake were gay and was HIV positive, I feel uncomfortable throwing such a thing out there. It is serious business. And spreading such rumors I feel uncomfortable about.

7:26 PM, it makes me uncomfortable spreading rumors about an actor I don't know personally having some kind of illness, not just HIV, it would make me uncomfortable if you said he had cancer etc... as well. It comes out of nowhere. We have no proof whatsoever he has some kind of condition. Why would some start rumors like that, I wonder? What for?

This rumor hasn't anything to do with one of the Toothy vices, it's pulled out of someone's ass. No signs of Jaustin, no signs of BT, no further BI's about Jake sleeping with guys. Now, some posters start to spread plastic surgery or illness rumors.
