V2

Dear Ted:
Is Toothy Tile Vince Vaughn, and is Pickled Fickle from One Rent-a-Wreck Blind Vice Heather Locklear?
Gretas
Seattle

Dear Sexuality Crasher:
The real T2’s simply horrified you suggested Vaughn, horrified! See, Toothy’s rather svelte, and Pickled Fickle’s a man, dear. Give H.L. a little more credit.

Dear Ted:
Is it still true that the person featured in your Blind Vice is still named in your column the day the B.V. appears? Or since your column went daily, does the individual only appear sometime during the week when the B.V. is about to run?
Janie
Chicago

Dear Sneaking Around:
Darling, this is a gossip column, not Scientific American. We give clues all over the place, but it’s sort like sex — when we feel like it. And yes, often that's by mentioning the culprit elsewhere.

Quakes, Queers 'n' Sneers!
Teddy C.'s house shakes as much as Christian Bale's rep these days! Plus, Tori dishes domesticity, not to mention 90210, and Toothy Tile has some majorly smokin' competition coming up, can't wait!

Dangerous Doings
Elsewhere, not only am I being chastised for saying I don’t buy Lance Armstrong’s new aw-shucks-I’m-just-an-American benevolence reinvention (this man’s a player like nobody’s biz, just ask freshly ejected Kate Hudson if you don't believe), Toothy Tile’s handlers ain’t too happy with me either, not to mention camp Tom Cruise, girlfriends. Sure, there are more than a few behind-the-scenes T-town wizards who would be more than happy to see my glass house shatter and crumble deep into a ravine...me, head first, along with it.

Read Herring?
Oh, before we get to such scintillating bits ‘n’ boobiness—means Tori Spelling’s on the way, trust—must tell you all that I dare say Toothy Tile must be paying a very well known, blockbuster-starring actor to homo-outdo his gay ways. Hate to be a tease ‘n’ all (that’s a damn lie), but you’ll just have to wait until Friday’s Blind Vice to find out the deets, hon-childs. I mean, maybe that nasty fag bitch Christopher Ciccone really has let loose something in the celeb air right now, what with his sibling-stabbing memoirs and the hilarious Cristina Crawford-esque interviews he’s pulling ‘round town. ‘Cause Toothy’s new matinee rival is pulling really over-the-top, stereotypical Rock Hudson retro sex shenanigans. Delish, can’t wait to tell you all!

  2. Hello fangrrls! Here's a revealing article on the packaging of Mr Obama for the minivan masses that applies to Reeke, too. It's by Bonnie Fuller (former editor-in-chief of US Weekly). Fuller, I would say, knows a little about media manipulation...

    What women want

Women come to feel so close to celebrities, they almost consider them part of their circle of friends. More than 60 million women a week now read the enormously influential glossies, and one of their biggest appeals are the "Stars Are Just Like Us"-style features -- those regularly featured photographs of stars going about their everyday lives

Celebrity weeklies have successfully enhanced the appeal of Hollywood stars, not only by glamorizing them but by humanizing them as well.

The fact that they shop at the supermarket, pick up their own dry cleaning and play with their kids in the park just makes Brad, Angie, Jen Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson and the rest of the cast of A-list characters all the more likable.

If humanizing celebrities sells magazines and movie tickets, why wouldn't some "Obamas are just like us" stories help make voters feel more familiar and comfortable with the Obamas? After all, it's widely believed that George Bush managed to beat out Al Gore in the 2000 presidential campaign because Americans thought he'd be more fun to share a beer with than with "elitist" Al."

The McCains have made little attempt to cast themselves as regular folks whom you could talk over the fence with. And they would have a more difficult time in carrying off this strategy. For one thing, it's hard for the McCains to honestly claim that they are just like us when Cindy McCain is the multi-multimillionaire chair of the board for her family's beer brewing empire, Hensley & Co. Plus she is the much younger, second trophyesque wife of John. That she is smart, attractive and hugely philanthropic still doesn't counter that she is dressed to the nines by top designers and is photographed in Vogue looking beautiful but unapproachable.

Contrast that with Michelle and Barack Obama cooperatively appearing on the cover of Us Weekly, embracing beneath the headline "Why Barack Loves Her."

"They wanted to say that they are a sweet, loving couple, just like us," points out Dolce. The inside feature story discusses the couple's romance and relationship and showcases photos of the family at play with their adorable young daughters, Sasha and Malia.

  6. "Gossip Girl" co-stars, roommates and friends Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are still thisclose. The twosome showed up at a recent show by Brit popsters The Ting Tings, and a spy says "they were never more than a foot apart. It was freaky. If one moved two feet to the left, so did the other." The duo also chose to ignore the hordes of flirty girls trying to get their attention, says our spy: "They were only interested in each other."

  7. DL gossip:

Regarding Sam Mendes - When he won the Oscar, some gossip column (I think it might have been Page Six) reported that he and La Spacey were at some afterparty, ogling cute guys.

If Sam Mendes is gay what is Kate Winslet doing with him? She's not the kind of woman who would be a beard to anyone.

  9. I have to say that I no longer care at all about Jake, TT or Ted. Part of TT's appeal was that he was so in love with his b that he was on the verge of coming out and declaring his love. The whole Reeke PR campaign has destroyed what made TT so special. Even if Reeke is real, the fact that he would hook up with her and play such silly immature games about the relationship, proves to me that he's not all all the person I thought he was. I now come here occasionally out of habit and curiosity. I do not frequent this site because of any real interest in him or his career.

  15. God how pathetic is Phoneyspoon PR? Can't have Heath be the centre of attention regarding TDK, oh no, they have to make it about them instead. Pathetic twats. And NO responsible parent would let a 4 yr old see TDK. But this is The Chin we're talking about, after all.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ^ oops, I was talking about the OK article

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm sure that the whole OK! "article" is made up, they are just using Maggie and TDK to spin some Reeke crap.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Does Deacon sleep with his Joker doll? Or does Uncle Jake?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Honestly, OK isn't a creditable source. They were the same mag that reported that Heath was considering doing a Brokeback Mountain sequel last year (total lie) and that Jake would be attending the TDK premiere with Maggie as her date (complete fantasy). This is just another fiction on their part.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I doubt that OK article is even true. I get the impression that Maggie and Reese aren't good friends. I can't see Maggie even really liking Reese. Both women are complete different. Besides, when would Maggie have even seen Reeke or the kids. If we go by pap pics, last time Maggie was in LA was when Reeke was having their lovefest in Europe. It looks like Jake hasn't seen his sister and niece since last year. Sad that it looks like he's isolated himself. Maybe his family isn't loving Reese as much as the rag mags would have us believe.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It looks like Jake hasn't seen his sister and niece since last year.

Don't be silly, paparazzi don't follow Jake 24x7. And why would you believe rag mags BS?

  22. 9:31am, I don't believe rag mags BS. But, Jake is photographed alot. So if there's a pic of Maggie in Brooklyn and of Jake in LA, I would have to believe that. There were pics of Maggie in Paris when Jake was in NY. Pics of Maggie in Brooklyn when Jake was in SC, etc.

Nobody gives a crap about Reeke and that bs article. Even if it were true how does that make Heath less the centre of attention? TDK is all about Heath, he made the rest of the cast pale in comparison.

I think Reeke is jealous of all TDK and Heath praise.

Instead of whoring yourselves in the rags how about working on your acting, fakers?

HEATH LEDGER deserves all the credit for THE DARK KNIGHT's massive box office haul, according to the movie's director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN.

"Ledger plays The Joker in the movie, the last full film role he completed before his death in January (08) from an accidental drug overdose. And Nolan insists Ledger made the movie a hit.

Speaking at The Dark Knight's Japanese premiere on Monday (28Jul08), the British filmmaker said, "(He was) what The Joker in our film would need to be.
"(We were) looking for an actor with the fierceness, excitement and teeth to do our version of the Joker."

Christian Bale, who plays Batman in the record-breaking film, also found time to praise Ledger, telling a press conference, "It's satisfying to see people celebrating the incredible talent of Heath. I just want him to be recognised."

In just 10 days since the film's release in America, The Dark Knight has taken an astonishing $440 million (GBP150 million) at movie theatres worldwide, breaking almost every box office record in the U.S."

I know Jake said Heath was a "special friend", but that doesn't mean they stayed as close friends as they used to be. I think "special friend" means that the interactions with Heath were different than with other male friends, because of the emotional and physical closeness for BBM.

DF: … So do you know what your next gig is?
JG: Well, you know what? I think I needed some time to figure that out.
DF: You needed some "you" time.
JG: Yeah. l’ve been unbelievably blessed to have had success at an early age, so i've had to learn as I go.
    DF: Learn while you earn.

JG: That’s sort of what’s been happening to me. I think there are a lot of people who don't learn
how to grow up, so I'm in a place new where I feel like the decisions I make will be really good.
DF: So now you‘re like, "I feel confident that I’m in a place in my life where I probably, in all
seriousness, would have never met you, David." [laughs] "l’m feeling so good about myself that I would have instantly turned down that last script you sent me."

    JG: Shut up.
DF: [laughs] No, you know what I mean. It’s nice to be in a place where you're going, “I need some time off; I want some time off; I'm
going to take some time off."

JG: I really want to work, though. I'm so excited to be in a place where I'm like, "Let‘s buckle
down and get to it." That's where l find myself, and being antsy to commit 100 percent is a great
place to be as an artist. That’s where you always want to be. I remember starting off, when the
thing that got you going was having all that nervousness and anxiety about peopIe's judgment - like, I'm going to try to prove whatever I need to prove here. And that’s how I feel again - it just took a little break for me to get there.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Topic : Reeke, Inc.

    Secondary Explanations :

Jake's parents are all but divorced, splitting the family into a million little pieces

2007 was a horrible year for Jake, both emotionally (melt-down in October) and professionally (Rendition and Zodiac tanked, Farragut North was taken away, the tabloid press intensified gay rumors, Nichols was arrested, etc.)

    Primary Explanation :

Jake has been desperate for a franchise for a long time. His primary fanbase - rabid, loony fan-girls - helped to make BBM and Jarhead a success, but they abandoned him with Zodiac and Rendition. Neither Nailed nor Brothers will bring in lots of money and Jake is tired of waiting. He's knows that he's under consideration for PoP, but negotiations have stalled. Why?

Disney probably told him one of two things :

    1. We are not going to spend $150 million dollars on a film lead by an out gay man or an actor with persistent gay rumors. Do whatever you have to do to make yourself look straight.

    2. We are not going to spend $150 million dollars on a film unless the lead actor can guarantee box office gold. Given the poor receipts from Rendition and Zodiac, and the likely receipts from Brothers and Nailed, we are not going to put you into the lead role in PoP unless you can energize your fan-base.

Arguments (1) and (2) are different, but the solution is the same. Jake proved that he had box-office appeal by whoring himself to gossip rags that sell millions of trash magazines to fan-girls, magazines like People and US Weekly. There's no reason for him to legitimate this charade in the pages of the respectable press (like Vanity Fair or Esquire) for two reasons :

    1. Rabid fan-girls don't read respectable mags
    2. You don't lie to Vanity Fair or Esquire, and expect to be asked back for another interview in the future. These kinds of magazines have two things that US Weekly doesn't have and Reeke, Inc. doesn't want : fact-checkers and sterling journalistic reputations.

So, after helping to sell a few million trash magazines (with his face on the cover or inside), Jake's pr firm finally convinced Disney that Jake could deliver the goods at the box office.

But this putrid flower needs constant maintenance, hence the need for periodic hetero-friendly family photo opportunities in exotic locales, filled with scenic backdrops suitable for framing. Until the PoP brand/franchise has been firmly established, or Jake gets the 'franchise bug' out of his system, Reeke will go on.

Just take solace in the fact that Jake is not really trying to prove he's straight. For example, he's developed this pathological fear of all-male company. So much for a night out with the fellas (ie. straight male bonding) having drinks and talking sports. He spends all of his time bonding with women, which is exactly what many gay men love to do. He's even gayer now than before.

But this charade is going to continue. PoP is all - and I do mean *all* - that he has right now, and having a blonde female chaperone on his arm next summer for the PoP premiere is a part of the deal.

Get used to it. His inner life is on hold until he scratches his 'franchise itch' raw.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm thinking that Jake's itch for a big franchise must have started when Maggie decided to do TDK. Maggie has said that she was approached for TDK 3 months after she had her baby. That about December-right before we got the pics of Reeke on the set in LA. Guess when Jake heard that Maggie and Heath were going to be in TDK he may have gotten a little jealous. Jake knew TDK would be big-I don't think anyone imagined it would be as big as it is though. Now Jake is filming POP, but it will never come even close to TDK-money wise or popularity wise.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm thinking that Jake's itch for a big franchise must have started when Maggie decided to do TDK.

I think it started long, long time before.

    TDAT interview:

Q: What made you want to do a blockbuster like The Day After Tomorrow?
A: I love big movies and I always have. I love watching them. I’ve never been a cineaste, preferring just small, independent films. I love big entertainment movies, so it wasn’t really a hesitation on my part.

Q: I heard that Dustin Hoffman, who you worked with on Moonlight Mile, advised you against taking the role…
A: Yeah! He was saying ‘You don’t know how many offers you’re going to get. Just wait it out and don’t be impatient.’ I said, ‘Dustin, I really want to make this movie’. And I think he’s been through movies that haven’t been his cup-of-tea – he’d rather be the storm in the movie than the storm itself!
And I totally respect that. But I grew up with those movies. I go every Summer to all of them. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to do it. It’s a lie to say it’s a career-movie, or it’s a lie to say the character was amazing – I just wanted to be in a movie like that.

    ReplyDelete
  74. He might have developed an itch for franchise films a long time ago, but I think that his patience vanished last year. He just got tired of waiting for that multi-million dollar ship to come in. Gay men have whored themselves for less.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Jake's patience vanished in 2006 ;)

  76. Jake probably did want a big money gig, but i agree with the post earlier, Maggie and Heath getting Batman must have pushed him right into Reeke.

  80. When I first saw BBM , my thoghts were no one could act that good, especially in the love scenes. It was hard to believe they were acting. I felt like Ang did that some *private feelings* showed through. That this was not Jake's first time kissing a man. Too comfortable with it not to be *real*. I had been a long time Heath fan, but did'nt know much about J.G.. There's just something about Jake's manner that pings big time gay. To bad he's trying to hide behind this woman now. He should be himself and come out.

    ReplyDelete
  81. If he thinks it's better for his career not to come out then his fans should accept that.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Why was he in such a hurry getting a franchise?

An actor must fit the role (looks, height, body build, age), promising franchises are rare and the competition does not sleep in Hollywood.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Does anybody remember that interview where he says how wonderful it was to create an intimacy with Heath?

    Was it a video interview?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Weren't there rumors that Jake had been interested in the two-face role in TDK?

Yes, and I kinda hoped that he would, because for a superhero type character, it had depth and made you feel for him, and supposedly the character would appear in two other films besides TDK. I thought Jake looked like the character and fit the role perfectly. But, he didn't get it. :(

I was surprised by Aaron Eckhart's portrayal though, he was great and did make you feel for him. I always picture Harvey Dent/Two Face with dark hair, but now it makes no difference. Aaron Eckhart is the character. I can't wait to see more movies with Aaron playing this character - I kinda fell for HD/TF! :)

It would have been different if he had decided not to come out but had remained living his private life out of the spotlight, and another different situation is bearding this big with almost daily updates of the fauxmance all over the tabloids and blogs.

I think if he had decided not to come out but remained private, the majority of his fans would have accepted it and supported him, but being part of this lame showmance is pathetic.

I agree, and when you add in his disintegrating famiial/social/romantic situation, his emotional reserves were depleted. He probably came to the conclusion that superstardom one film at a time, sans the blockbuster franchise, simply wasn't worth fighting for any more. There was no romantic love at home worth sacrificing for, and the window for franchises was closing. Heck, he even got lucky with PoP because Orlando Bloom turned it down, quite possibly because it was too gay (SNL is going to have a field day with PoP - the ambiguously gay duo comes to morocco, etc.). So he found a powerful, female friend who would beard with him discretely, keep her mouth shut and maintain his secrets (including his homosexual inclinations).

Will met Grace and the result was PoP.

  95. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Reeke is jealous of Maggie. TDK is not only the best comic book film of all time, it's also going to end up the second biggest grossing film of all time behind Titanic. Meanwhile, Jake is doing... Prince of Persia, his desperate attempt to be an action star. And when was the last time "America's Sweetheart" Reese had a hit film? For two people for whom fame and money is everything, that's gotta piss them off.

    ReplyDelete
  96. 10:16, ITA. POP will be visually beautiful but that's probably about it. Plus, I can't imagine watching Jake in a movie where he has a British accent and is supposed to be some Persian desert Prince. It just doesn't fit somehow. Also, that movie that Reese has coming out with Vince Vaghn sounds terrible. Could you find 2 more mismatched co-stars? They couldn't get along while filming the movie and they play a married couple. Their on screen chemistry must suck big time and the movie plot sounds boring. I love Jake and I want him to do well and break away from Reeke, but I can't stomach Reese. Hope her up coming movie flops bigger than Penople.

  100. I can't imagine Jake as Harvey Dent. He's too young and earnest. Harvey is supposed to be this all-american suave politician like a Kennedy. Aaron Ekhart played that perfectly.

I think it's amazing what a phenomenon the dark knight has become. It was already a hugely anticipated film, but the good reviews plus Heath's iconic performance and his tragic death on top of that has really turned it into something else all together.

  102. 1:27 PM - Thanks for the Ang Lee "private feelings" interview. Hadn't thought of that in ages.

The first time I heard it, I remember being surprised Ang would go where rumors were circulating. I'd been told by a suit - not involved in the BBM shoot, but in film finance - that people on the production crew were saying Jake had great chemistry with Heath on and off camera, and “kept his eyes on Heath all the time." I didn’t know much about Jake or Heath back then but that detail struck me and I remember joking about "mancrush?" This person said the marketers wanted to downplay that kind of (typical film set) talk because its effects couldn’t be gauged this time and to keep focus on the acting (the Oscar campaign had started as soon as the first dailies were viewed). Maybe the strategy changed. Or Ang is just a loose cannon who can't hide what he thinks. He does speak his mind with amusing results sometimes.

  107. 1:25 AM That's very interesting. I read a report of a Q&A session after a BBM screening and it was also mentioned that Jake didn't take his eyes of Heath during it.
Ang Lee just doesn’t strike me as the type of person that would be involved in a marketing campaign. He comes across as an honest man who says what he thinks but what do I know.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I can't imagine Jake as Harvey Dent. He's too young and earnest.

The actual comic book character is a young wunderkind attorney who takes Gotham by storm in the beginning, at 26 years old the youngest DA ever to serve Gotham City. He has dark hair and blue eyes, noted for his actor-like good looks. There's some kind of back story with an abusive father. If he were like a Kennedy, he wouldn't have been uncomfortable with the "trust fund crowd" and need to lean on Rachel, but that part may have been a script addition. But I agree, Aaron Eckhart surprised me with how good he was, so now I'm convinced! I hope they have the additional sequels that were being talked about. :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. ^^And as a very young DA, he has all of that youthful sincerity and earnestness to clean up Gotham on the side of good and is part of that beautiful triumvirate for the side of the good of the city, Batman, Harveny Dent, and Commissioner Gordon, until of course he is horribly injured. Poor sweet baby, I just love the character and the film was extremely well done. I love Rachel's character, Maggie gave it realism and depth. I think Rachel is the daughter of the housekeeper or something at Wayne manor, but familiar with that crowd. I love how she is vaguely annoyed by Bruce's persona of international playboy, because she knows deep down he's not that way, but for some reason needs to have that image. He doesn't want that either, he seems to want a real woman, her. I love the romance between Rachel and Harvey, and the powerful DA who puts away Gotham's criminals leans on her. Great movie, I really hope there is more. It'll be difficult without Heath tho, he was just amazing. :)

  110. MoviesOnline: CAN YOU TALK ABOUT WORKING WITH HEATH?

AARON ECKHART: Yeah, absolutely. Heath was wonderful to work with. I unfortunately didn't get enough time to spend with Heath personally and professionally. The time I did spend with him I was amazed by his talent and what he was doing with the Joker. In rehearsals, we went to rehearsals in London, and Chris brought me in and worked with Heath. He started doing his thing albeit it in less than first gear. I thought “Okay, alright, we'll see. This kid is doing something here. I gotta step it up. He’s doing something special.”

I said to Chris “Heath's really going to be good in this.” He said “Yeah.” Then I would hear reports about what Heath was doing and I would come back to work after having some time off. I would say “Hey Chris, how did it go? What's been happening?” And he would go, “Wow!” His eyes would light up and he’d say “Heath's been doing this, and he's been doing this, and he's been doing this, and he did this.” I was like “Okay.” So we all were watching Heath pretty closely and felt he was doing something special. Then having seen it now on the screen I see it.

Our scene together in the hospital is our biggest scene. That was Heath's scene and he drove it, had all the energy in it, and it was a great scene. I really got a lot of energy from him and throughout the day he would find his character. He would find different things to do in the faces. He would improvise and he knew his character so well, so thoroughly that he could go anywhere at anytime. That's when you know that you are working with somebody special. Boom, boom, boom. Over here, over here, over here. I’d say something and he's boom, boom, boom, like this. None of that was in the script, right? We’re working. I felt when he started I was like “Okay, what am I going to do here? I don't know him. I know how I feel but I don't know what I'm going to do.” Heath really helped me with that.

I felt it was an honor to work with him and that was why an actor is an actor, to be with him. I would like to say one last thing about him. He was great off the set. He was happy and he showed me pictures of his kids and talked about his kids, his children, liked to listen to music, and stuff like that. I think that is important to note.

    ReplyDelete
  111. ^^^ Everyone on TDK has clearly agreed to say that Heath was happy on set and that the role of Joker did not "kill" him.

I think that is true, but I wonder if Gilliam and his crew will say the same?

About BBM filming and Jake Heath issue. In Jake's shoes I would have never let anyone know much about the feelings that might have developed during filming. It's a tough thing to deal with. And especially now... I wonder what kind of things run in his mind when he has to face that film in different occasions, something very private and it's all out in open. 132. The report you read on GB if you actually read through it was what they were doing over a course of a couple of weeks, this was not a first hand report. The co-star was in the UK when he reported the rehearsing stuff, in the UK Thursday-Sunday, then back to Morocco on Monday. So the poster on GB was hearing this Thursday/Friday, the source I gather is in the UK.

Perez: Again? He has been doing that off and on since this started, there are a number of references made when he posted about them last year or him solo. It just seems that way becasue he hasn't posted about them in a while, he IMO could care less one way or the other.

Re: Us sales: magazine sales of rags and all publications are down no one is buying crap that you can read online. I was at the supermarket and no one is buying the Brangelina cover, it or any other of the rags. On Friday, they will be tossed in the wagon with the rest.

Despite a yearning to see as much of Jake's skin as possible, we didn't appreciate said skin being exposed so plentifully on his scalp."

  139. The GB poster's source is in Morocco and was hearing the latest information in real time. :-)

Yes, and that was posted yesterday, Tuesday. The same poster also adds that their source, a co-star had some time off and was in the UK late last week-Sunday and that the cast was back in Morocco on Monday.

So if the co-star flew to the UK for a few days, then Jake most likely flew to L.A. for a few days now they are back on set.

You must trust the GB poster and their source since you read and cut and past the info here.

So their report and bits and pieces they are getting is probably not just from Tuesday/Monday past but over a course of time. If you go back to other posts on GB the same poster has other info going back to May about pre-production stuf in the UK/Morocco.

Same here. I'll never forgive Jake for making me discuss that bitch. LOL

  181. "babblers want the kids around so the no-sex-because-the-kids-are-around "rule" distracts from lack of Reeke sex action."

    The kids perform many functions.

    1. They give the paparazzi something to photograph besides Reeke, Inc., which has all the sizzle of a block of dry ice in Antarctica
    2. Jake finds it easier to channel his homosexual urges constructively with dogs and children than women (older women will do in a pinch; sports is definitely out - too much male pulchritude)
    3. As well as the above : the absence of, well, it looks like anything, between Will and Grace, circa 2008. "You know, it's the ... uh, kids."

  182. 4. "Reese wouldn't involve her kids if Reeke wasn't real". They are forgetting that this is not the first time Reese uses her kids as PR tools.

I am sure Reeke is really afraid!

More seriously Ted said nothing spectacular in his BI, just pissed off! that remind me when he talked about jake'gay friends angry against him , threatening to out him.
In short i am tired of ted , of jake, of all LOL

  186. Let's not be too judgemental.

I'll just say it's dangerous to fall in love with a man like Heath (unpredictable, self-destructive,...). He was a great guy (charming, capable,...), but everyone who loved him ended up hurt.

  189. "A very long time ago I posted about the B list couple (films and television for both with television being their forte) that hated being married to each other, but lived with it because they hated admitting they were wrong in public more. They are the couple who negotiated deals with each other for photos together. They never took many together, but at least it was some. Well now, they can't even stand to take photos together and her girlfriend is getting antsy and wants to take things public. He understands because he also plays for the home team, although not as openly. The problem is his career couldn't take the exposure of an outing while hers could probably use the boost. Oh, they do have (a) child(ren)."

  191. Maggie Gyllenhaal designs Trickle Up necklace for charity

Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, the stunning brunette who sparkled on screen in the must see The Dark Knight, has recently teamed up with Trickle Up and New York designer TenThousandThings to create a beautiful necklace to help fight poverty.

“Trickle Up will use your donation to help someone living on less than one dollar a day start a microenterprise and take the first steps out of poverty,” Maggie writes in her letter on the company’s webpage.

The necklace is part of Trickle Up’s “Seed A Dream” campaign, which aims to bring people out of poverty by encouraging them to use local resources to start their own company. When you make a donation of $100 in honour of a friend or family Trickle Up will send you the charming silver pendant necklace. The $100 donation helps families receive better medical care, more nutritious food and aids them in starting their own business.

Accompanying the campaign is a beautifully crafted 75-second video where Maggie describes the benefits of supporting such an amazing cause. Check it out on the companies webpage or follow the link below.

  192. Speaking of Perez covering for Jake -- he didn't always. He used to run lots of stuff about Jake being gay / dating Austin, but he removed the posts.

Post from 2006 + 2 pics of Jake with Perez's "signature":

    WHERE WAS JAKEY?

The big question of the Golden Globes is: Where was Jake Gyllenhaal?

Despite the fact that his film, Brokeback Mountain, received multiple nominations and ended up winning four awards, including Best Film (drama) and Best Director (Ang Lee), the toothy actor was a no-show at the big event. What makes things especially interesting is that PerezHilton.com has learned that GyllenHO was in Los Angeles, at least he was on Sunday when a friend of ours spotted him — by himself — at Urth Cafe in Santa Monica.

So. Where was Jakey Poo last night?

If anybody can shed light on the situation, please do so... after the jump.

  196. 8:53am, everyone knew and knows Toothy. Tooth is the biggest laugh in Hollywood!

That Perez report came out around the time gossip said jake was miffed at the attention Heath was getting.

Funny Jake, going to the Urth Cafe. That was some kind of needy statement. Urth is honey for paparazzi and any actor who goes there knows they will be photographed. LOLarious.

btw, if anyone thinks Perez named Jake "GyllenHO" because Jake was a pussyhound, you've got kitty litter in your brain. Perez called him that because Jake whored for fame. Jake had a rep for courting attention and sleeping with whomever (boy or girl) would help his career.

Has that changed? Hmm, let me think...
