(I saw 12:19 listed as the start time in one story.) Thee is a red carpet from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. It doesn't seem to be on TV. We'll see if Jake makes it to the carpet.

believe. Jake flew in and out of France to spend time with his gazillion children OR the children and Austin were hiding out in France.
And those pics of Austin and surfing in Texas were really Austin surfing in the south of France and Jake took the pics. Baby tiles were off playing the sand and building sand castles.
Jake took Greta to the dinner to keep eyes off of Austin who was also there lurking in Jake's ass.
You notice there have only a few subtle tweets of Jake in NYC no doubt planted by Jake's management team better known as posters on this board.
Jake was photo shopped at the press conferences, his voice was CGI. He was never there. Jake was also not on the red carpet because those were old photos that management planted on every media outlet. And Lily Allen's dress was being lifted by the wind and not Jake's hand.
Jake is so important that the entire country of France and all media outlets are in on it because we the management pay them. After all protecting Jake, Austin and the gazillion baby tiles is more important than world peace, eliminating world hunger and that pesky global warming.
It's all about Jake and his "family".

BIG SPRING, Texas (Local 2 News, Fox 24) - Playing Jim McNeely, a role Texas native and actor Lane Garrison believes he's born to play. "He lost both of his parents. I lost both of my parents when I was younger. Didn't have a college education, this man didn't have a college education. And just sort of moved out on a whim to make it," says Garisson.
He's getting that opportunity as the cast and crew of the Iron Orchard set up shop in Big Spring, Texas. A town Garrison's having no problems calling home during production. "You can't beat Texas people. Every door is open, every bodies helping every way they can. They're giving tractors, plains, cars, opening up their land."
The film based on the 1966 novel of the same name written by Texas native Tom Pendleton. Producer Houston Hill says choosing West Texas, a no brainer. "We couldn't fathom shooting this in any other state. All of our partners in the project are in Midland, Odessa."

Cannes Palme d’Or winner Jacques Audiard has struck gold once again, this time for his upcoming western noir The Sisters Brothers.
ReplyDeleteMegan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures announced Friday it has, in addition to co-producing and co-financing, acquired domestic distribution rights to the upcoming drama, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Riz Ahmed, John C. Reilly, and Joaquin Phoenix.
Based on Patrick DeWitt’s 2011 novel of the same name, The Sisters Brothers — Audiard’s first English-language project — revolves around Eli and Charlie Sisters, a pair of siblings hired to kill a sleuthy prospector who stole from their boss. in 1851 Oregon. The film will combine classic western elements with genre-bending splashes of comedy, and serves as the French filmmaker’s directorial follow-up to Dheepan, which earned the top prize on the Croisette in 2015. He previously screened Rust and Bone, A Prophet, and A Self-Made Hero at Cannes as well.
Reilly had initially optioned DeWitt’s book, and will produce the picture with Michael De Luca, Rosa Attrab and Alison Dickey. Ellison will executive-produce. Why Not Productions is set to co-produce and co-finance, with Page 114 producing as well. Audiard and Rust and Bone scribe Thomas Bidegain wrote the film’s screenplay.
Founded by Ellison in 2011, Annapurna has amassed an impressive awards season track record in its short lifespan. Many of its films have gone on to win or be nominated for Academy Awards, including Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master, Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty, David O. Russell’s Joy, and Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher. In 2014, Ellison became one of only four people in Oscars history to receive two best picture nods in one year, when Her and American Hustle competed for the Academy’s highest honor.
A release date for The Sisters Brothers has yet to be announced. Production begins this summer.

ReplyDeleteJake Gyllenhaal is teaming up with John Lesher for The Lost Airman, a true-life World War II adventure project.
Amazon Studios has picked up the rights to the nonfiction book, titled The Lost Airman: A True Story of Escape From Nazi-Occupied France and written by Seth Meyerowitz.
Gyllenhaal is attached to star in the project and will produce with Riva Marker, his partner at the duo’s Nine Stories banner. Lesher will produce through his Le Grisbi Productions.
Based on recently declassified materials, the book tells the incredible true story of Arthur Meyerowitz, an American turret-gunner whose B-24 bomber was shot down over Vichy France in 1943. While hiding in the French countryside, Meyerowitz befriended Marcel Talliander, the founder of the legendary French resistance group Morhange, who helped shelter the man from the Gestapo through his secret network. After six months of barely evading capture, Meyerowitz escaped through a carefully orchestrated plan that also involved R.F.W. Cleaver, one of the most accomplished British fighter pilots of the war.
Meyerowitz, Anthony Mattero of Foundry Literary Media, and Dan Bodansky of Dixon Talent will serve as executive producers.
Lesher, who won an Oscar for producing Birdman (along with Alejandro G. Inarritu and James Skotchdopole), is currently in production on White Boy Rick, a drug drama starring Matthew McConaughey.
Gyllenhaal next appears in Bong Joon-ho’s much-buzzed-about environmental adventure movie Okja, which bows on Netflix June 28. He also has Boston marathon drama Stronger in post. The movie, which is set to open Sept. 22, is the first feature produced by Nine Stories.
Gyllenhaal is repped by WME and Bloom Hergott. Meyerowitz was repped in the deal by UTA on behalf of Foundry Literary Media.
