Steve Carlson. The beards. This make-up artist. Film crew. Stand-ins. Shawski, aka Ivan Shaw. Luke Mitchell. Rowdy Stovall, the bro-in-law on Austin's side of the family. Donald Mowat, Jake's make up artist. The UK radio DJ Grimey, aka Nick Grimshaw.
For the most part, all of the GPS misleading placement, the lying and gaslighting does not taint the social media of Jared, Jensen, Jake, Austin nor Harry. The Instagram Stories and pictures are for those folks listed above.
And this too is why Instagram is used almost every time. Their people control the pictures. They control the captions. They control the story. They can use photoshop all they want, a software that has gotten better and more improved. Even videos can be manipulated and voices. So you can see why Instagram has become the tool of choice.

ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely befuddling why the J's team jerked the fans around so with this soccer match/UFC nonsense. But once again, it made Jared look bad and so that helps to feed the elevation of one half while bringing down the other.
Louis was always brought down (he was portrayed as "homophobic" and saddled with "babygate"), while Harry was elevated. In the beginning, it was Austin who was dragged down; interns on WFT2 made anonymous comments claiming he had a drinking problem, he had chemical dependency problems, and preyed on underaged girls. They faked DM's to accounts which made it clear they were under-aged. It was all done to make it look like Austin was undeserving of Jake and to break up the fans who believed they were together.
Jared? Same thing. He's the one who has always been portrayed as the one with a hot temper (airline and hospitality staff rants), "ditches commitments" and is "mentally fragile".

ReplyDeleteSo I just finished watching Accidental Love. I know on rotten tomatoes it’s the lowest rated Jake Gyllenhaal film but I don’t really understand why? I thought it was a funny movie and I love his character Howard Birdwell.
You think that 'Brokeback mountain' didn't change the culture, but the culture was waiting for it. But it was very striking that a movie with stars told a love story between two men, did someone recommend that you not accept the role?
ReplyDeleteNo one from my nearby circle, professional or personal, advised me not to make that movie. But there were some who told me that it might not be an appropriate choice or the right path for me, because I had other options to choose from at that time. Some people felt that I should do any of those other roles except [Brokeback mountain] and interestingly none of those other projects ended up shooting.
Did you have doubts?
For me there was never any doubt. I don't know if it's because of my education and because of the world I grew up in, I was lucky enough to attend a very progressive school where several of my teachers were gay. I never questioned him, I saw men married to men and women married to women and I never gave it the slightest importance. Of course, being a straight man, I was intimidated by the idea of filming the most physical scenes. I wondered how they would turn out and there were awkward moments. But at the same time I knew that we were telling a story about love that meant a lot to me and that was, for me, more important than anything else. What remains. Love, intimacy and deep relationships terrify me, I tell you sincerely, but I am aware that my life is worth nothing without those connections. So those are the stories I want to tell. And in the end, the number of people who have approached me to tell me how much Brokeback mountain has meant to them makes me realize that I was not aware of the luck I had as a child: when I read Brokeback mountain I did not give more thought to the fact that they were two men because I grew up in a world where love could be everywhere and among all people.

ReplyDeleteSea Wall/A Life, the lauded Broadway production starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge, will be recorded and released as an Audible Original production, Audible announced today.
Audible, an industry leader of downloadable audiobooks and other recorded spoken-word entertainment, will record the two actors performing the solo one-act plays in a sound studio, a spokesperson for the company said.
Sea Wall, written by Simon Stephens and performed by Sturridge, and A Life, written by Nick Payne and performed by Gyllenhaal, were first presented as a double bill at the Public Theatre Off Broadway last February, winning over critics and audiences. Directed by Carrie Cracknell, Sea Wall/A Life subsequently made its move to Broadway’s Hudson Theatre in July for an official opening on Aug. 8. The limited engagement runs through Sunday, Sept. 29.

2. There is no reason for Jake to fake his life in New York while hiding in Los Angeles.

3. There is no reason for Austin to fake his life with girlfriends for 6 years.

I do wonder who posted her name on the gyllenbabble blog in the first place. It was a really matter of fact post too. I doubt that anyone who frequents that blog would have had any idea who she was. It had to come from outside the normal Jake fandom because no one would have recognised her from her modelling. Back then she had more like 5,000 followers too.

Well, WME/Endeavor operates NY Fashion Week, so not surprising, really. Was he really there or was this one of those 'favors' we know that WME/Endeavor can call on?
Depending on where Austin and the kiddos are stationed at, we at Narnia can definitely believe whether all the Tiles are home-schooled or only some of them are home-schooled, September is a school month. Being able to spend Monday and part of Tuesday with his kids and enjoy hearing about their schooling would seem to be a don't-miss. In August, it might not matter at all which day was the "dark" day. This has been a sacrifice on Jake's part to miss a segment of his children's lives, but he does love theater and his team deems it important that he appear at times to live in the Big Apple.

ReplyDeleteThe Spider-Man: Far From Home stars announced their upcoming matrimony on Instagram, and Gyllenhaal kept things succinct: “Forget the Biebers… We’re getting married,” he wrote, followed by the heart and wedding ring emojis, so you know it’s real.
Along with the revelation, Gyllenhaal shared a photo of the two at the ACE Comic Con in Chicago this past weekend ... By the looks of things, they’re already dressing alike, too — mazel tov.

Okay, so maybe it’s just a joke… but we can still hope for a same-sex Marvel power couple, right?
While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has faced criticism in the past for its lack of diversity, they’ve promised several LGBTQ characters will appear in the studio’s fast-approaching fourth phase of movies.
First, it was announced that the third Thor sequel, Love and Thunder, will chronicle Valkyrie’s (Tessa Thompson) search for “her queen”, and then it was revealed that The Eternals will feature a gay man who’s married “and got a family”.
Now, it’s been reported that the Captain Marvel sequel will introduce a fan-favourite gay character. According to We Got This Covered, Hulkling – a Kree/Skrull hybrid who possesses shapeshifting abilities and super strength – will make his debut.
In the comics, Hulkling is part of, what is often referred to as “Marvel’s most prominent gay couple” with Wiccan, who has the ability to warp reality, as well as teleportation, astral projection and telekinesis.

ReplyDeleteI traveled to #NYC for work and went to see the play #SeaWallALife, in which the protagonist of The Prince of Persia, Secret in the Mountain and Spiderman, among others. 🎥
At the end of the #JakeGyllenhaal function, he offered a conversation, but the most incredible thing was that a few minutes later, I ran into him, walking as calmly with a cap and without bodyguards on the sixth avenue in New York. Something that, taking into account what they say about Hollywood stars, impressed me! ⭐️
As if that were not enough, minutes later, we got again 😱 this time at the #WholefoodsMarket food fair, in the same restaurant one sushi 🍣. The super normal guy, quiet, serving himself soy and asking for an extra wakame, like any other we were there. Moral, you can't believe everything the magazines say. #HappyWednesday

Jake Gyllenhaal was the hero in a canine crisis in Tribeca, Page Six has learned.
ReplyDeleteWe’re told that the “Sea Wall/A Life” actor was walking at Laight and Hudson streets at about 10:20 Thursday morning when he spotted an enormous Dalmatian standing terrified in the middle of the busy intersection.
According to an eyewitness, the dog was on a leash, but had gotten away from its owner, who was too small to control the bulky beast, which the spy estimated to be about 3 feet tall.
“I noticed that it was Jake Gyllenhaal, and I saw him turn and look into the street — I thought he was trying to flag down a cab or something.” But we’re told Gyllenhaal was motioning to the dog, who was standing still in the street. “It was like the dog was in shock or something,” said the source.
The star — who is well-known as a dog lover — left the woman he was walking with and stepped out into the flowing traffic, bringing cars to a standstill. We’re told he calmed the dog — who was unharmed — and led it by the head back to its owner.
The witness said, “He really was a hero.” Gyllenhaal even took a moment to talk to the stricken dog owner about different types of leashes that might prevent the scary situation from happening again.
Gyllenhaal has had several dogs, including puggle Boo Radley and German shepherd Atticus. Last year he told W magazine, “I love dogs, I just love them. They are so playful. I think they bring that out in us, if we allow it. I don’t think I’m that playful, generally. I need to be reminded of it. So, they remind me of that.”
He added, “When I housebroke my dog, it was probably one of the proudest moments I’ve had. [At least] of the past three years. It was such a tremendous triumph.”
The witness said, “He really was a hero.”
